Ellroher took Alatariel's hands in his and just looked lovingly into her eyes, the eyes that had captured him when they first met so very long ago, here, at this place by the training barrics. Ellroher bent down and kissed Alatariel on the lips. After he pulled away he said with a smiled, "I love you Alatariel. And nothing will ever make me stop." He kissed her again, lingering a little longer this time, before pulling away. Ellroher laughed out loud for no particulare reason other than the happyness he felt in his heart.

Alatáriël gazed back into Ellroher's eyes as he held her hands. The two just stared into each otehrs eyes a brief time, just loosing them selves in them. Both thinking back to the time where they had met so many years ago but were never introduced. She smiled as Ellroher leaned in and kissed her. "I love you too, Ellroher." As he kissed her a second time, she was tempted to teased his ears again but held back. As they pulled apart, she too, for no reason laughed as well.

Ellroher put his arm around her and together they left the training grounds and headed back to the city. They headed back towards the upper levels of the city where members of the royal court and other high ranking elves lived. There they stood out on a padio overlooking the city and siped on a glass of Rivendell Red wine. "You know what I really enjoy about being back here?" Ellroher asked as he took a sip of his wine. "The wine, I've got a few bottles back at Dunharrow, but I'm always saving it for a special occation. And when I do pull one out, it doesn't seem to have the same special taste as the stuff here. I wander why?" He shruged and took another sip. He and Alatariel contiuned to talk about Rivendell, Rohan, their own past, and plans they had for the future. It was nice to have some time where they could talk about such things. Ellroher just smiled at Alatariel, loving every minit spent with her.

Alatáriël smiled and shook her head. Ellroher seemed to really love wine. She looked into her glass and wondered how could the wine taste different due to location change. She thought for a moment but could only think of one thing but it really didn’t make much sense. "No Elvish atmosphere maybe?" she said and shrugged her shoulders. "I do not know." Alatáriël took a second look into her glass then sipped her wine. She leaned against the railing and rested her chin in her hand. She thoughts began to wander.

Ellroher agreed, "I think it is the atmosphere. Or perhaps the way it is stored." Ellroher finished his glass and let it down. He looked out over the sence and smiled at Alatariel when he knowtest something he hadn't earlyer. She seemed lost in thought, not focused on what was in frount of her, or listening to him. Ellroher remained silent, watching her. He didn't want to disterber her thoughts, though he was coureous about what she was thinking.

When Alatáriël ensed Ellroher's eyes on her, she snapped out of her thoughts. Feeling a bit of guilt, she set her glass down and wrapped her arms around him and hugged him gently. "I am sorry," she said softly. "I was just thinking and I did not mean for my thoughts to wander as they did."

Ellroher was surprised when Alatariel suddenly wrapped her arms around him. He wraped his own arms around and held her. He gentaly ran his fingers through her hair, unsure of what to say. Finaly, he said in a comferting tone, "Hey, it's ok. There's no reason to apologize for becomeing lost in thought." Ellroher rested his chin on top of her head and contiuned to stroke her hair. "What were you thinking about? If you don't want to tell me, thats fine." He smiled, "I know I'm not always the best person to hold a conversation with sence I tend to ramble."

Alatáriël smiled as Ellroher gently ran his fingers through her hair. She just stood there, waiting for him to reply. When he did, she said, "We all ramble about something at least once in our lives, even the wisest of us." Then Alatáriël went silent. She was not sure of how to answer his question. She sighed softly trying to of the best way to answer. Finally, she said, "I suppose I am really just thinking of what will become of us once we are married, and what my people may except of me."

Ellroher stood silent, holding Alatariel and running his hands through her hair. Her thoughts had come up a time or two in his own mind, but he had dismisted them, not wanting to dwell on them. But now he saw that it was a question that could not be put off. Ellroher gentaly cuped Alatariel's face in his hands and lifed her head up to look at him, so she would fully understand what he was about to say. "You mean what our people may expect of you." He had infencized the word our when he said it and paused a moment to let it sink in. "Our people," Ellroher continued, "will expect nothing more than you are able to give. They love you and trust you Alatariel. Otherwise they would have never made you their Queen." He paused again then added, "I love you Alatariel. No matter what, I love you."

'Our, right of course,' Alatáriël thought herself realizing her mistake. "Our," she then whispered out loud to herself. She gazed into Ellroher's eyes, taking in the words he spoke to her. At first, she was as still as could be, taking a brief moment to think of what he said, then she realized that he was right. The time of the Elves had ended after the war, though herself and many others had remained. There really was nothing left for the Elves of Imladris to expect. All there was for her to do was to protect the realm to the best of her ability until the last Elf left for the Undying Lands. She had help and it made things easier. Someday, it would be their turn to leave. Alatáriël smiled. Even a wild Half-Elf such as Ellroher had some wisdom in him. He was the blood of Elrond afterall, and Elrond was indeed wise. "I know," she said softly then added, "And the same goes for me."

Ellroher smiled and kissed her. He then embraced her and held her tight against himself ande stroked her hair. "We'll be alright. Nothing can hurt us as long as we have each other." Ellroher kissed her forhead and then looked out over the city agian. His face darken with puzzlement for a moment then he exclamed, "Dinner!" He looked at Alatariel and then laughed. "We forgot about dinner with my mother." He laughed again, mostly at himself. Normally, he would have been in a panic about getting to dinner. But somehow, he was calm and leval headed. He eyed Alatariel suspicously, trying to deside if being around her was influencing him to think before he acted. That made him laugh all the more. "Alatariel, I think you are starting to rub off on me." He playfully kissed her and then extened his arm. "Perhaps we can still make it before my mother sends out a search party to find us."

"You are right," Alatáriël said smiling in return and held Ellroher back, tightented the embrace. She had become really relaxed in his embrace that she nearly jumped at Ellroher's sudden exclamation of the word 'dinner'. Alatáriël's eyes widdened slightly, realizing that she too, had forgotten. It wasn't something she had done often. She looked at Ellroher and had caught his suspicious look and wondered what he could he thinking that made him give such a look. Then he spoke, causing Alatáriël to eye him oddly. "And what is that suppose to mean?" she said raising an eyebrow and smirked.
