Ellroher raised his eyebrows in confusion. "Me? I was hoping that you would begin. I honestly don't know where or how to begin. I've never planed a wedding before, much less my own." Ellroher momentarly wished he had brought his pipe, but pushed the thought from his mind. Sighing, Ellroher thought a moment. "Well, I guess the first thing would be to make a (Ranger) list. Or should we set the date first?" He placed his hand over his mouth in thought and leaned back in his chair. "Then there's the wedding party afterwards, and....thats all I know. Is there more to it than that?"

Alatáriël laughed at Ellroher's reaction. She never really meant to make him start. She just wanted to tease him. "I do not know anymore then you do," she said. "Right now you are trying to think of everything at once. Let us just start with one thing at a time. The guest list is easy, we shall have all our friends and allies here." Alatáriël leaned back in her chair and crossed her arms over her chest. She smirked as if though she was pleased with herself. "There, that part wasn't so hard was it?"

Ellroher smiled and looked away to hide his embarissment. "Ok," he said at last, returning his gase towards her. "That wasn't so hard I guess." He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. "Ok, now how about something not so easy. When?" Ellroher got up from the table and walked over to the window. It was late in the morning and already the who city was up and going about their dayly buisness. He turned from the window and looked at Alatariel as he repeated, "When?"

Alatáriël only smiled as Ellroher looked away, trying to hide his embarrassment but she already saw it. At first she didn't answer. She just watched him as he rose and walked toward the window. She too, had got up and met him at the window. She stood in silence for a moment until she heard Ellroher repeat the question. "It does not matter to me," she answered. "Any time is fine."

Ellroher took Alatariel's hand in his and looked out the window again. The sun was shining down on Rivendell at such an angle that a rainbow had apeared in the spray of the waterfall. Ellroher smiled at it and then said, "One month." He reamained silent for a moment, thinking. Finaly, her turned back to Alatariel and repeated, "One month. That will give us time to prepare and have our (guests) arive." Ellroher breathed out and realized that a mountain of anxiety went out with it. He laughed lightly and said, "Whew, that wasn't so hard."

Alatáriël gently gripped Ellroher's hand and smiled. She too, gazed at the window, admiring the landscape. Rivendell was the fairest land in Middle Earth in her eyes. At times she was sure that she would not be able to leave it. "One month is good," Alatáriël said. "That will be plenty of time." She looked up at Ellroher and couldn't help but laugh seeing the anxiety leave him and was now more relaxed. "We will worry about the rest later."

Ellroher smiled and gave Alatariel a kiss. "I love you." He said as he kissed her agian. She always seemed to make things easier for him. Ellroher looked out the window one last time and then asked, "Whats next on our dayly plan? Do we have to go and listen to a bunch of ambasitors try to get something from you, or can we just post-pone that untill they deside to leave?" Ellroher smiled and added, "I know, your not suppost to do that."

"And I love you," Alatáriël said and kissed him back. She then laughed at his question. "No, no," she answered. "No meetings or anything with anyone yet." She looked back at thw window and looked down at the ground below. An idea crossed her mind. "How about we go for a little walk?" she asked.

Ellroher looked at Alatariel sispisishly then nodded. "Why not." He said as he took her arm with his and walked towards the door. Ellroher's coureosity was getting the better of him so he finaly asked, "Where are we going?"

"No where in particular really," Alatáriël answered. "I just thought we could take a nice walk around the city." She looked up at Ellroher. "Unless there is a specific location you wish to go to?"

Ellroher smiled and replyed, "No. Please lead the way. This is your city after all. Lead me to where ever you fancy." As they walked along the buisy streats, Ellroher was amazed at how little it had changed. In Rohan, change happened all the time. It seemed every time Ellroher went to a diffrent city there was some new building being build. It made him very happy to be back in Rivendell. After a wile, the streats became less buisy and crowded. Soon they came upond one of the many gardens in Rivendell where vines had grown up around the arches and blosemed into beautefull red and yellow flowers. Ellroher stoped and smelled one of them. Smiling brodly, he gentaly picked it from the vine and offered it to Alatariel. "When we finaly return to Rohan, I want to plant some of these around the keep. They'd make Dunharrow feel more like Rivendell so you won't be too homesick."

"As you wish," Alatáriël said holding onto his arm as they made their out the door and into the city streets. They kept silent most of the walk, just enjoying each other's company. As they entered the garden, Alatáriël smiled and gazed around the garden. It was one that was still in full bloom, though others did not fair as well. She smiled as Ellroher handed her the flower. She held it up to her nose and inhaled it's scent. "Really?" Alatáriël said touched by his offer. She knew that she would be traveling back and forth between the two realms often and homesickness would be a sure thing for her, having lived no one else but Rivendell. She was glad he wanted to make Dunharrow feel more at home to her.

Ellroher wraped his arm around her waist as they continued to walk and laughed, "Alatariel, for you, I'd pick Rivendell up and move it to Rohan." They stoped to look at another beautefull vine full of breathtaking flowers. "You know, I do intend to make Dunharrow slightly elvish. Unlike other cities in Rohan, Dunharrow will have a huge garden, full of the most beautefull flowers in Middle Earth. I'm also going to extend the size of the Great Hall. Sence I'll have a wife to acomindate when I return, I'm going to need some extra room. I was thinking of hireing some Rivendell arcetects to do the work. Do you know where I could find some Rivendell arcetects to make a Rivendellish home for a beautefull Elf Lady?"

Alatáriël let out a small laugh. "If it were possible, I know you would do it." Gazing at the flowers, she wondered how Elvish flowers would grow in human soil or if they would grow at all. She frowned at the thought. If they did, it would take a lot of her own spiritual strength to help them grow and stay alive. Elvish flowers needed strength from the Elves to keep them healthy. She looked up at Ellroher and said, "Architects? I believe I can gather up some for you. We still have a decent amount of our builders around."

"They will grow." Ellroher said, reading the expresion on Alatariel's face. "I have grown some allready." He paused and looked at the ground in embaressment, "Altough they haven't done very well because I didn't have a lot of time to spend tending to them. But they will grow." Ellroher smiled at when Alatariel confermed that there were still many architects in Rivendell. "Wonderfull. We'll have a talk with them later and see if they'll be avalable."
