Alatariel and Ellroher rode over the stone bridge and into the Elven Realm. Every Elf in Rivendell had gathered to welcome their queen home, many shouting various greetings such as ‘Welcome home.’ Alatariel smiled and gazed upon her surroundings. It was good to be home. The Elven Realm had to appeared to have been well taken care of while she was gone. She looked at the Elves smiling and bowed her head lightly and continued up the path towards home. They were followed by a small elf child who ran up beside Alatariel’s horse and presented her with a flower. The child bowed shyly and then ran off back towards her mother. Alatariel turned her head and smiled at the child then she turned her attention to Ellroher. “Do you see your mother anywhere in the crowed?” she asked him. Alatariel had quite familiar with about every Elf in Rivendell but did not have any idea which one could possibly be his mother.

Alatariel had been right. This was a far larger group than at Dunharrow. But Ellroher felt at home. He had grown up in Rivendell after all and it felt good to be with own kin agian. He scaned the croweds, looking for familar faces. He saw sevearl. From men who he had grown up with to old freinds of the family. He knowtest the little girl who bowed shyly and ran to her mother. Ellroher smiled, and waved at her. It was Idril, Hadi's wife. Idril smiled and waved back, said something to her daughter who giggled and waved at him. Ellroher continued to search the crowds for anysign of his mother. But with so many elves all crowlding around him it was hard to pick anyone's face out. He'd see her soon though. He'd find her. Ellroher smiled and shook another hand as he and Alatariel continued through the crowd.

Alatariel could see that Ellroher was unable to find his mother in the large crowd but was able to find other familiar faces. "You will find her soon." She dismounted her horse and continued walking through the crowd on foot. She greeted various Elves along the way and receiving more flowers from a few other elf children. Her chief counsellor and a personal guard had approached her giving her a quick update of events that had took place while she was gone. She requested a meeting to discuss such matters later then turned back to Ellroher and smiled. "I can see this crowd has not been too much for you so far."

"I'm holding my own." Said Ellroher as he came up beside Alatariel and took her hand in his. He was still scaning the crowd for anysign of his mother. He didn't see her, but he did see dozens of old friends. Some of whom he had gone to war with, others he had trained for war with. Ellroher looked up at the beauty of Rivendell. It hadn't changed. It was as beautefull and spacktackular as he remembered it. He leaned in towards Alatariel and asked, "Are you going to anounce our engagement now, or are your going to wait untill things have quieted down?"

"That is good then." Alatariel said squeezing Ellroher's hand gently. "I think I will wait until everything has quieted down alittle bit. Besides, I could use a good rest and a hot bath before I even think of standing before my people and make any announcements."

Ellroher smiled and nodded his agreement. "You go ahead and do that. I'll put the horses up and then get cleaned up myself. I kind of want to see Rivendell alone first. There are a lot of memories here. Don't worry, I'll meet you in the display room. You know." He said slyly, "The room where Gil-galad's spear is on display." He laughed and gave her a quick kiss. "I love you." He said as he turned to take care of his horse.

"Yes, of course I know what room you are speaking of. Do not go and get yourself into any trouble now." Alatariel with a smirk and shook a finger at him. "I do not want to be held responsible for any of your actions." She kissed in return. "I love you too." she said and headed off to her chambers.

Ellroher found the stables without insodent, and put the horses up. He then explored the city, remebering events from his childhood. It really felt good to be back in Rivendell. Ellroher found his room and quickly washed up. He put on a clean blue tunic and his backplate, but left the rest of his gear in the room. There was no reason to continue caring all of it. Seeing that he still had some time before he was to meet Alatariel, Ellroher dissided that he would revisit an old place he like to go. Checking to make sure that no one was around, Ellroher climbed up ontop of the roofs and hoped from housetop to housetop towards the side of the cliff. He smiled when he was that the old hand holds were still there. Using them, Ellroher climbed the cliff for about fifty feet before he came to an overhang. Ellroher stood and looked out over the city. It was beautefull. He could see the whole city. He closed his eyes, rembering when he and his friends had first found the hand holds and looked out over the city. Ellroher heard movment behind him and his instencs kicked in. He drew his swords and spun around. In frount of him was a beautefull women. Ellroher didn't reconize her, but knew she looked familer. She smiled at him then laughed, "You allways were jumpy. You going to cut me in half, or give me a hug?" Ellroher suddenly remebered. That laugh. He sheved his swords and cryed, "Elemmire!" wraping her in a huge hug and kissing her cheak. Elemmire laughed again and said, "Now you remeber me. To what do we hold the honnor of your presents agian, my dear brother?"

Alatariel sank into the hot water of her bath. She sighed lightly. She could not remember the last time she had a relaxing bath. She leaned back and just stared at the wall for only a moment knowing that Ellroher would be waiting for her soon. She was sure he was having a good time wandering about the city. She washed her hair getting out any dust and dirt from her travels that still remained. She laughed to herself thinking back to the childish and also foolish mud bath. She when had finished bathing, she dried off, dressed in a white gown then combed out her hair. She took a quick look in the mirror and smiled then headed out the door and into the city to find Ellroher.

Ellroher and Elemmire headed back down to the cities streets. Ellroher rembered that he needed to meet Alatariel and hurried towards the display room. On the way, Ellroher asked Elemmire, "I thought you left for the Undying Lands? What are you doing here? And where is mother?" The elf laughed and said, "I stayed becasue mother stayed. She said that she couldn't leave with one of her children still here. And I couldn't leave her alone waiting on you, so, I stayed." She followed Ellroher through the streets and asked, "What where you doing rideing in with the Queen? And what have you been doing the last 30 years? You've only sent mother a few letters saying you were still alive. And what's your hurry?" Ellroher stoped, turned to face his sister and laughed, "Your still as talkative and coureous as ever. I'm very happy to see you and if you'll stop asking questions and just follow, you'll get your answers." Elemmire rolled her eyes and said sarcasticly, "That's what you always say." "Well, then just stay here." Ellroher retorted and contiued on. Elemmire watched him for a moment and then ran after him. "Wait for me!" Ellroher soon arived in the display room and looked at Aiglos, Gil-galad's spear. He was about to pick it up when someone yelled, "Don't even think about it boy. You remeber the last time you picked it up?" Ellroher turned to see the display keeper. Though the man was serous about not touching the spear, he smiled and said, "Good to see you in one peice boy. How have you been?" Ellroher caught Elemmire's eye as she smiled, waiting to here 'How you've been.' "The next person to ask me that is going to get punched in the face. I'll answer all questions later. For now, I'm just waiting for my Fiancée." Elemmire stared at Ellroher and laughed, "Ellroher, who would despret enough to marry you?"

Alatariel walked through the city heading towards the display room. She knew Ellroher was already there and waiting. She only hoped he didn't think of touching the spear again. She stopped a few times and greeted the trees and the flowers. All things in nature were like friends to the Elves. As she came closer to the display room, she heard a few voices. She knew one belonged to Ellroher and one to the display keeper and the female voice was not familiar to her. Alatariel laughed at the female's question and stepped into view. She said not a word and waited and to see what they had to say.

Ellroher saw Alatariel, knew she had heard what Elemmire had said, and just smiled at her. "Well, she is." He said as he walked over to Alatariel and put his arm around her. His sister's face was priceless. She stood there, eyes wide and mouth hanging open in shock. Ellroher raise his eyebrows and gave her a sly, inocent smile. Her face began to turn red and she exclamed, "You did that on purpose!" Pointing an acusing finger at him. Ellroher placed a hand against his cheek and mockenly said, "Oh, did I do that?" He turned to Alatariel and shrugged. Then Ellroher couldn't contain himself any longer and bursted out laughing. It took him a wile to stop, but once he did, Ellroher turned to Alatariel and asked, "Alatariel, did I mention that I have a twin sister?"

Alatariel rolled eyes and simply said, "I am not." She studied the female's features and could see that they looked similar to Ellroher's. She had to have been a sister. She tried not to laugh at the expression on Elemmire's face. She watched the actions between Ellroher and Elemmire. There was no doubt in her mind that they were sibblings. Alatariel turned to Ellroher and answered, "No, you did not but it was easy to see that she was."

Elemmire said, "I'm not surprised. He often forgets about me. I personaly think its because he's still sour at me for beating him." Ellroher held a finger up and said, "Oh no you don't. We settled that a long time ago. Don't be bringing it back up." Elemmire just started at him with a satisfed smile on her face and then bowed to Alatariel, "I'm very pleased to meet you, your highness." She turned back to Ellroher and asked, "When is the wedding? I hope it's not right away, Mother would be very upset if she missed it." That caught Ellroher's attention. "Where is she?" He demanded. Elemmire just smiled her innocent smile as she swayed back in forth on her feet. "She went to visit some freinds in Lothloreon. But she said that she would be back in a few days." Ellroher sighed, "Well, at least now I know why I didn't see her earlyer." He turned back to Alatariel and said, "Are we going to annownce our engagement now? Or wait untill my sister tells everyone for us." Elemmire opened her mouth to object, but changed her mind and remained silent. Ellroher smiled and said, "I'll see you later Elemmire. Right now. I think that me and Alatariel have plans to make."

Alatariel loked at Elemmire then to Ellroher and smirked lightly. "I do not know, I think I may want to hear this one sometime." She returned the bow to Elemmire. "We have not made any plans as of yet." She kept quiet letting Ellroher and Elemmire talk. She laughed lightly and said, "I am surprised that Hadi has not done that yet seeing how exciteded he appeared to be but I think your sister will have a better chance of telling everyone. I think it is time we announce it."
