Ellroher smiled and took Alatariel's arm in his. "Then let us go and make the anoncement." He turned to his sister and said, "Let me know as soon as mother has entered Rivendell." Elemmire nodded and lauged at Ellroher. "What's so funny?" He asked defencivly. "I'll tell you later." She simply said and ran off. Ellroher shook his head and turned his attention back to Alatariel. It was the first time sence she had come that he had gotten a real good look at her. "Alatariel," Ellroher said as he looked her over. "You are simply gorges." He smiled his lopsided grin and said, "It's a close contest between this and you covered with mud." He laughed and gave her a quick kiss. "I love you Alatariel. Lets go make our anoncement. You lead the way."

"Well, won't it be interesting to have your mother return and hear all this talk about you being engaged." Alatariel said smirking lightly. She rolled her eyes and gave him a playful shove. "I do not see how me being covered in mud is lovely to you but apparently it is." She shook her head lightly and smiled. "You are truly something else." She turned to her chief counsellor and said, "Tell the Elves to gather infront of my Quarters, I have an annoucement to make." The Elf bowed lightly and replied "Yes, my lady." Then ran off. "Are you ready for this?" she said to Ellroher. "This too will be bigger then Dunharrow."

Ellroher ran his finger through Alatariel's hair. "Yes. I am ready. I don't care if we were about to go in frount of 100,000 people and make our anoncement. I have you, and that is all that matters." He kissed her gentaly on the forhead. He looked at her beautifull eyes and laughed lightly, "I'm ready, but that doesn't mean I'm not a little nervis."

Alatariel laughed lightly. "You are lucky there is not that many here but they will sure celebrate like a group of 100,000. This is their Queen marrying afterall and they are getting a King." She gazed back into his eyes. "I think I am alittle more nervous now that I was in Dunharrow. I wish to try and rid of it, I really do not wish to have every Elf here sensing my nervousness."

Ellroher smiled, "It's ok to be nervous. I would be more worried if you weren't nervous." He ajustest his tunic and tightened the straps of his back plate. Though it was used as extra pertection during a fight, Ellroher wore it where ever he went. He had had a smith ingrave a dissign on it. It was of a running horse inlined with silver. Surrounding the horse were diffrent patterns of leaves and flowers, making it look more elven. He smiled at Alatariel and asked her, "How do I look?"

"You look very handsome." Alatariel answered and gently ran her fingers through his hair. She glanced over to the side for a moment seeing that the Elves were beginning to gather. She looked back at Ellroher and asked, "Do you always wear your back plate? I do not think I have ever seen you remove it."

"When we first met I wasn't wearing it." Ellroher reminded her. He turned his head and looked at the sword handle that stuck out from the back plate. "Yea. I guess I do wear it a lot. It's not just for protection though. It carries my twins. I found that wearing them at my side was a nousence. They kept getting in my way. And I know it's childish, but I couldn't wear just one. I had to have them both. So, I came up with this idea." He said smiling. "My mother had the ingravings done so I could wear it on cerimonys ocations. I have worn it so much that I feel, almost naked without it on." Ellroher saw that the elves had begun to gather and sighed. "Well, I don't think we can stall too much longer. Let's make the anoncement." Ellroher took Alatariel's hand in his and gave it a gental squees. "I'll be right with you." He whispered reasurnenly.

Alatariel smiled. "Oh, well I suppose had not really noticed it then. And you are right, it does seem alittle childish but I suppose I cannot hold it against you. I do not think I have met anyone who carried two swords at once, but if it works for you then I am alright with it." She turned her head once again seeing more Elves gathering and waiting. "You are right." Alatariel gently squeezed his hand in return and whispered back, "I know you will."

"My grandfather, Elrohir son of Elrond, fought with duel swords. That were I get it from." Ellroher laughed lightly. The crowld was indeed becoming larger. It looked like evey elf in Rivendell had come to hear what Alatariel's big anoncement was. Finaly, an elf appeared before them and raised his hands for the crowld to quite down. Ellroher guested that he must be one of the lords of Rivendell. When the crowld quited down, he said, "Queen Alatariel has returned from her trip and whishes to make an announcement to you. I present, Queen Alatariel." The crowld claped as the speaker steped aside and gestered Alatariel forward. Ellroher gave her hand a final squees and said, "Show time."

Alatariel stepped forward and stood before the large group of Elves waiting to hear her announcement. Her nervousness had lifted and she smiled. She looked upon them for a moment and began to speak, "Elves of Rivendell." She turned and looked at Ellroher and smiled then turned back to the crowd. "Many of you already know Ellroher." She said gesturing towards the half-elf. "And I am happy to announce that we are to be married and he will become the next King of Rivendell." The Elves clapped and cheered, happy to hear that their Queen was to marry. Alatariel looked over at Ellroher and smiled.

It had suddenly dawned on Ellroher that marrying Alatariel would indeed make him king of Rivendell. That suddenly made him a little uncomfterble. He was Stewerd of Rohan and Lord of Dunharrow already and couldn't leave that job to someone else. He smiled and waved at the chearing crowld. He glanced at Alatariel and his fears suddenly melted away. It wouldn't be a problem, not with her around. She would be with him. His smiled became genuen as he waved with more enthuseassum. Ellroher disided that he should say something. "Thank you all for your warm welcome. Though I'm surprised some of you didn't throw me out as soon as I walked in the door." The elves laughed. "Alatariel and I met in Dunharrow and somehow fell in love. Though I'm Stewerd of Rohan and the Lord of Dunharrow, we wanted to have our wedding here, in Rivendell." There was much applauze and chearing at that. Ellroher smiled at Alatariel and said, "They love us. Told you there was nothing to be nervis about."

Alatariel could sense that Ellroher was uncomfortable and she could not figure out why. She pretended not to notice and decided to worry about it later. "They did not throw you out because I had not told them to." Alatariel said and smirked. She was not fully sure what made her fall in love with him in the first place. She smiled at the cheering Elves. They were all very excited and she knew that they would began preparing the city for the wedding once plans had been made. She smiled back at Ellroher. "I know and you were nervous at first too you know."

"Oh really? You told them not to. I think it's because no one it this city could." Ellroher smirked back. He smiled knownly and said, "Your right. I was nervous at first too. I just try not to show it in frount of you." He gave her a crooked smile. "It's my way of trying to impress you." Ellroher took her hand in his and glanced back out at the crowld. "Looks like were going to be very busy with plans. But do you think that they would miss us if we, sliped away, for a few hours?" asked Ellroher, an inocent look on his face.

Alatariel crossed her arms over her chest. "No, because I am the one who gives those orders." She said smirking once again. "Trying to impress me? Why on Earth would you need to do that?" Alatariel too had glanced back over at the crowd. "I do not think so. They will just be waiting to hear what the plans are."

Ellroher sighed, disapointed that he and Alatariel wouldn't be able to get away from the crowld so easaly. He shook the thought out of his head and focused on the matters at hand. Planing their wedding. Ellroher looked at Alatariel and asked, "Where do we begen? I really don't have a single idea of what we even need." He paused and thought a moment, then asked, "Alatariel? Do you think that we could get something to eat first? I'm starving."
