"Neurion Nairdohr, lord of Dunland and ruler of Harad." Neurion said with pride not with arrogance. Tarik held his arrows like he knew how to use them, which was a good sign, if it came down to it Neurion would fight with Tarik over the other men who were still wandering around the camp aimlesly. Neurion stood waiting for Feladron to lead the way to his tent.

"You're the ruler of Harad? How intriguing." Tarik grinned, this was his opportunity to show his ruler what he could do. He was finally finished with his arrows and he waited for orders from either Neurion or Feladron. If two important people were meeting in the same place, then this mission was very important indeed. The more important the mission, the higher the payoff.

Xhel groaned in his boredom as he sat there alone with his horse. The elf loved his sleep and Kayla would some how have to make up for it. He was in a good mood that night, and his shift had passed far into Kayla's. To entertain himself he began to carve a block of wood with his knife. At first he had no idea what he began to carve, at the end it became clear. It was a dragon, cleanly cut. The edges were maybe a little rough but he did not have the equipment. It was about a foot long structure, he had the wood in one of his many bags. As Kayla approached he let out an obviously large sigh. "Whose your friend?" He asked leaving the wooden dragon on the floor. His hand slight grasped the hilt of his sword.

Feladron listened to their conversation. "Yes I have a tent, and I also have one ready for you." He said, their two tents were obviously the largest. Neurion could be called an important person and his aid would be needed. Allies were needed things went wrong at times, horribly wrong. But not this time. With his staff he gave him the gesture to follow him, and lead him to-wards his tent.

Kayla had figured he'd be upset; after all, it was well into what was supposed to be her watch. "This is Fenrir," she explained, "and he's not my friend. It was either bring him here knowingly or have him follow me like he was doing. Couldn't help it." Lowering her voice, she leaned closer and began to explain. "That solider guy was being followed by these two twins; I ended up running into all three of them, and I found out that the soldier's name is...let's see, started with an 'N'....Neurion! Ring any bells? Anyways, so then I got out of there, and they sent almost a score of men to follow me, to capture me or something, so I had to lead them on a wild goose chase and then kill off a couple before they got the message and left me alone. And then tall, dark, and mysterious over here was following me."
At that point, Sentinel decided to make his entrance. Silently gliding down on silver wings, he landed near the wooden dragon. Intrigued, he cocked his head, walking around the sculpture. 'Pretty good,' he thought to Kayla, 'though obviously not as magnificent as myself.'

Fenrir looked at the elf with hatred. He had a very strong hatred for elves because of his past but something was different about Kayle. She wasn't the usual elf. Fenrir said as politly as he could, "Hello, I am Fenrir. It would be greatly appreciated if I could stay at your camp. I am but a poor wanderer and have no camp to call my own."

(Sorry I was hoping Neurion would post first. If I have to I'll continue without him. Hang in there Tarik ) Xhel let out a sigh, he had the strong urge to kill somebody. But he managed to restrain himself. Trying to keep his cool he looked up at Fenir. "Well then Fenir don't get your hopes up because you are never going to call this camp your own." He got up facing him. Kayla should know they could trust nobody. The risk were high, to high to take any chances. "We do not have a tent to lend. Unless you plan to sleep on the floor of course. But then again I don't see why you couldn't do that some where else." Xhel said obviously not trusting the man.

"As I stated before, I didn't have a choice but to bring him," Kayla stated cooly. she could tell from his tensed muscles and the twitch in his jaw that he was furiously seething inside. "No worries, it's my watch anyways, and I will make sure he doesn't cause trouble." With a glance at Fenrir, Kayla knew he reciprocated the feelings the elf had for him. Great. Now she had two very hostile male elves on her hand. At least she had Sentinel; he would come in handy if anything went awry.

(OOC: could someone pm me a basic outline of the plot as im not sure where to go with anything thx) Fenrir grew furious at the elves comeback. He hated elves enough and now he had to stand here and watch this arrogant elf talk to him like this. He replyed slowly and politely trying to maintain his composure, "I am sorry if I am causing any trouble. Surely you can lend some food and a place to stay for a poor wanderer. I only have this sword here. You may take the sword if it bothers you that I am armed, I am not trying to start trouble, but arrogant elves should learn to control themselves." Fenrir then offered his sword to Kayle to take.

(Kayla you can give can tell him what you know which isn't much.. But still ) Xhel managed to keep a straight face. Arrogant? Oh no he didn't.. Shut up The elf chuckled lightly. "Arrogant or cautious, You tell me buddy." He walked over to a bag and began to look through it. Now lets see He pulled something out and tossed it over his shoulder, heading to wards the elf. "Its lembas bread, we have nothing more to spare." He entered his tent, his hand reaching underneath his pillow. "Good night." Are you going to let him speak to you like that? You've grown weak over the ages.

Fenrir took the bread thankfully and ate it. He then looked at Kayle and asked, "Where may I sleep tonight?" The night was cold and he lacked the appropriate clothing.

Kayla shook her head, projecting a thought to Sentinel. 'Elves are stubborn things, aren't they?' Sentinel nodded his small silver head in assent. Casting a curious gaze over the newcomer, Kayla commented, "If you are a wanderer, then why do you not have appropriate travel clothing?" It struck her as very strange. Sighing, she removed her gray mottled cloak and handed it to him. "It's specially made to keep in heat and keep out cold. Also invaluable when it comes to hiding in the forest, as you most likely witnessed. I have no need of it now; I am on watch until morning. I would advise that you keep clear of the elf; he is easily angered and obviously does not like you, even despite your charm and good manners," she finished a bit sarcastically.

Leaning against a tree, Kayla kept her eyes and ears open for any sounds that those men had found their camp. She doubted it. At the moment the buffoons were probably far away from them and from their leader. Sentinel lay curled in a silvery ball at her feet, appearing to be asleep. In reality he was focusing his energy on listening, smelling, and hearing. Nothing would sneak too close without one of the two noticing. Idly playing with the sword he had entrusted to her, she said, "Born in Mirkwood, raised in Mirkwod, parents are dead. Iwander at my leisure, just exploring I suppose." Gesturing down at the small dragon at her feet, she explained, "I found him about ten years ago; his nest was raided and his mother was killed. I haven't been back home in about a year," she finished. Too many memories there. Some good, some haunting. Kayla would never go back home, not after what happened. Silently she watched the dim light from the gray dawn play down the edge of the sword.

Fenir replied, "Hmmm, well it seems we share a common past. I also grew up in a village in mirkwood. My parents are also dead, along with most of my village, not many survived that one night........." Fenrir looked down and the ground rememboring that night long ago. It brought nightmarish memories back into him. In the years past it would have brought tears but his hard life has made him hard and cold. He leaned up against another tree facing Kayla.
