Kayla finally decided to get out of there when she had the chance. "No threat, eh?" she whispered to herself, "if you had so much laid a hand on me, you would find out what a threat I can be." Treading silently through the forest, she carefully placed her feet, not making hardly a sound. She couldn't shake the eerie chills that meant she was being watched. Sentinel was still watching the three, seeing if anything of interest happened. She meandered through the forest, trying to decide if she should go back to camp.

Neurion heard something else coming through the forest, he was about to draw his sword when he recognized his horse as it slowly made its way through the forest, it kept letting out neighs of terror which cause Neurion to be alarmed. From his history Neurion knew that animals had a keen sense for when danger was around, reaching out his hand Neurion soothed the Animal and attached his saddle bag. "So the wizard here yet?"Neurion asked the twins and scanned the surrounding bushes. He thought he saw glowing eyes in the distance but they were gone after he blinked so he guessed it was an animal of some sort that had scurried away.
Glad that the thieving women had left Neurion began to unpack his armor and put it on, she had just got on his nerves, perhaps he would cross paths with her again someday.

Sam put down his hand, an odd howling sound could be heard. Men moving through the forest bush could also be noted. "Yes he arrived two days ago. He's made a nice camp, and has managed to keep the elves out of his buisness." Eric rubbed his neck, "Didn't he say something of a female?" Eric asked his brother. Sam nodded, "It couldn't be her, he said she was dangerous. To me she only appeared cowardly.
About ten to fifteen men were following Kayla. Not to far behind, but far enough not to be heard by her atleast. They did not know of the dragon though.

Sentinel watched the men, keen dragon eyes seeing them as if it were daylight. His eyes gleamed as he saw the men following Kayla. Over a score of them. Maybe too much for her to handle, unless they made her mad. Her shook his scaled head, remembering times when she had gotten mad. For their sakes, they should avoid it. He thought to Kayla, 'Hey, sleeping beauty and the twins sent a bunch of men after you; no more than fifteen. Want me to alert the elf and the two humans?'
Kayla ran lightly, listening to the dragon's thoughts in her head. 'No,' she said, 'keep watching the trio. I'll let you know if it gets too much to handle.' She kept running away from camp, not wanting to lead them towards the three unsuspecting travelers, especially with Nimial. Dirk in hand, she was ready for a fight.

Fenrir followed behind the men in the forest chasing Kayla. He was getting excited again hoping for a battle. He didn't want to harm Kayla at all. She seemed very interesting. The men where not awair of him, there sense are not as keen as an elf, still he was cautious. He was always cautious except when he was mad. But he hoped he didn't get mad, that would be bad for everyone. The night grew darker as time progressed but he knew the darkness would not last much longer. He continued following the bunch through the forests. Trying to keep his ears especially keen for any aproaching threats

Kayla decided she was far enough away from camp. Time to end this. With stealthy motions, she hid behind a tree. With such a large group, the best thing to do would be to dart in and out, picking them off one by one. Dirk at the ready, she pressed herself against the tree, practically invisible. Growing up in Mirkwood had taught her how to conceal herself and stay perfectly still and silent until the time was right. Within minutes, her ears picked up the sound of footsteps; they were here. Closer and closer they trod. Looking at the ground, she waited for the first person to step by her tree. Finally, he did. With deadly silence, she thrust her dirk around, her body behind it, and shoved the handle deep into his chest. He fell with only a strained gurgle, and then she pulled the blade out and was gone again, waiting to see where she should attack next.

The men heard their comrade fall to the floor. There was whispering among the group as the now stood in a line. It was clear that there was 14 of them, two stood in the middle with crossbows the other 12 had spears. There six on each side of the crossbow men. The forest seemed uneasy as if aa dark spirit loomed above. The slightest sound would cause the uneasy men to fire.

Her blue-gray eyes glinted dangerously in the growing light as she bared her teeth in a ferocious smile. No threat, was she? This game was fun. Time to play, boys she thought to herself. She stood in the treeline, crouched low, watching them as they whipped themselves into a formation. Their eyes frantically scanned the surrounding forest; the two men with crossbows looked nervous enough to shoot anything that made a sound. Almost sad, really, since they were humans. If they were elves, she might have been worried. Slowly, making no sound, she crept around the group, stopping at a large tree directly across from the crossbow men. Picking up a small stone, she flung it over thier heads. It hit the other side with a solid thud, sounding much like a footstep in the night.

Fenrir was surprised to hear a body hit the ground, he knew he would smell blood soon. In the distance he saw the men in formation, and then heard what sounded like a footstep behind the men, yet he couldn't see anything. This even made him jump. He stopped at a distance watching the situation. If this was all kayla's doing he knew she must be very smart and well trained.

The thick metal helmet with the black horse hair on top slid onto Neurion's head as he adjusted it to fit perfectly. His black cape whipped about unseen in the dark. Neurion looked at the twins, he had short patience and they had annoyed him enough tonight. "Take me to the wizard." Neurion commanded more than asked. He was a king after all and did not like things to be out of his control. Neurion slipped his foot into the stirup and swung his other foot over the other side of his horse.

One of the 14 men spoke up. After the floor had been shot with a bolt. "We are idiots, she plans to pick us off one at the time. She doesn't want us to go south which is why she lead us north!" He exclaimed, the other men nodded in agreement. "Lets get outta here." Another spoke, the group began to head south now.
Sam nodded his head. "Follow us." He now commanded, the two dashed off quickly. They were fast on feet, even if they weren't used to this terrain. It was about a thirty minute run to a some what large camp that had its back to the river. Camps had been set up around the trees, it would even take an elf to run up to notice it. It blended in so well, and some how the two hundred men had remained hidden.

Kayla shook her head. Not the brightest bunch, these men. Reaching into her boot, she pulled out a thin knife. Stepping out from behind her tree, she aimed and threw it at the backs of the retreating men. That would speed them on their way. She also reached down and plucked the spear from the dead man's grasp. With an expert hop-skip, she sighted down another man and flung the spear at his back. Not waiting to see if she hit her mark, she turned and went back in the direction of the camp swifly. Enough fun for tonight.

Fenrir decided to stay following Kayla. He knew he couldn't be too careful now because of the skill he witnessed. He stayed far behind hopeing her elvish looking pointed ears wouldnt hear his almost unaudible footsteps, but then he stepped and cracked a twig. A very loud twig. Fenrir stopped dead in his tracks. He waited. Listening for any attackers that might have heard the noise or if Kayla was coming back to check out the noise.

'Sentinel,' Kayla thought to the silver dragon, 'head back to camp. We're probably heading out soon.' The woods were silent, aside from the normal night noises. Crickets chirping, the dawn birds beginning to rustle sleepily in the trees, twigs cracking....wait. She froze, dirk in hand, listening intently. She knew she had heard a twig crack, but everything was silent now. The fine hairs on the nape of her neck stood upright as she got that eerie feeling that someone was watching her again. "I know you're there,"she whispered a bit loudly, "show yourself!"

Fenrir heard Kayla stop moving and became even more cautious. He heard her spoke and was very wary about showing himself. He was not the social type. He waited hoping she would think it was her imagination. If she persisted though maybe it was best he showed himself. He knew as a werewolf he could rip her apart, but he did not want to hurt her at all.
