Her senses on high alert, she waited. Kayla was too sure of herself to think it was her imagination that she heard that twig. She knew she heard it; someone was out there. Dirk ready for defense, she listened, waiting. Not a sound. Whoever it was knew not to move if they made a noise. "If you're following me, I'm not moving until I see you," she whispered again, a bit louder this time. She could do this all night. Her patience was boundless in these situations.

Neurion arrived at the camp, dismounting he tied his horse to a tree and looked around at the well camoflauged camp. Tents seemed to blend right in to the surrounding area, leading him to belive that the men camping here must be expierencd soldiers but as he walked around he noticed they carried rusty weapons, many had no armor and most probably didn't know how to hold a weapon let alone kill someone with them. Neurion shook his head in dissapoinment and let out a smallm sigh as he removed his helmet, it was about know he wished he had taken some of his blood guard with him. Some of the men recognised him as the ruler of Harad and gave a small bow. Neurion hated that and was still trying to teach the people of Harad the customs of Dunland. Looking over his shouler he saw the twins catchin up with him. "So where is he?" Neurion asked in a irritated voice.

Fenrir waited and debated in his mind if he should show himself. He sensed she was level headed and not the hasty type so he spoke, "Calm down, i am not going to hurt you." Fenrir then walked out into the small clearing his cloak covering his arms and body and hood up over his head.

Kayla watched suspiciously as the cloaked figure stepped out of the shadows. He was tall; probably an elf. Especially since he made it this far without her hearing him. Keeping her guard up, Kayla fired off a series of questions. "Who are you? Why are you out in the woods at this hour? What is your intent in following me?" she queried. She didn't trust people, especially not ones who covered themselves with cloaks. Her own hood hung loosely around her shoulders, her rippling hair curling around her face as she watched him, waiting for him to make a move.

Feladron stepped out of his camp and smiled as he walked up to wards Neurion. The elf stuck out his arm to either shake his hand or help him off. "They are a mighty bunch aren't they." He said slightly sarcasticly. Not many were trained to fight, but all of them could be conisdered strong men. Many were soldiers who had retired. In the twins case they were trained to fight. "I am sorry my men couldn't meet you at the border... A few were ambushed and chased off. The twins disposed of them for me." He did not need to introduce them to the King Of Dunland. The elf assumed they had met. Feladron stood waiting to see, if Neurion had any questions to ask.

Tarik stood beside Feladron with his arms crossed and was merely content to watch the two men and then to follow orders. He decided to not ask too many questions, as that might impart on the generosity of those who would pay him later on. Instead, he pulled out his arrows and inspected them. Sometimes he'd sharpen a point, or he'd get rid of a splinter on the shaft.

Neurion shook Feladrons hand and held his helm underneath his other arm. "I take it you have your own tent set up." Neurion stated raising an eyebrow. Neurion had got a message from Feladron a while ago that told him of an elf but not in much detail incase it was intercepted by someone, so he was still in the dark about a few of the main reasons they were after trailing a certain elf named Xhel. "We need to talk in private." He said to Feladron. His eyes moved to Tarik, his face was familiar to Neurion, he searched his memory to macth a name with them man that stood before him. "I believe i have met you before, Tarik?" Neurion said casually, tho he had rembered the name he could not remember the place he had met him, judging by his attire Neurion guessed he was from Harad or perhaps Rhun.

Tarik looked up, pleased that Neurion had spoken in the Haradrim language. "Yes, I am Tarik al-Asad of Haradwaith. My profession is in the art of death for gold. I don't believe we met, however. Tarik is a common name in Harad." At that moment, Tarik did not think it wise to tell Neurion that he was a merchant for the most part. Neurion looked like he was an important person, juging by his clothing and the way he carried himself. "And what is your name, my lord?" Tarik asked.

Fenrir spoke deeply, harshly, and quietly, "My name is not of your concern elf. Why do u=you feel so threatened by me? I am but a mere wanderer looking for a place to stay. You seem so paranoid, it would seem you have hard a hard life to be so untrusting of the world. What is your name and i will consider telling your mine?" As Fenrir spoke he remained calm and conserved with his arms crossed, under his cloak. He stood straight up and looked the elf in the eye. He wandered if she would notice that his eyes are ever so different since he was bit. They look like a wild animal's, waiting to ravage something to pieces.

His voice was hard and unyeilding, tinged with a bit of wildness. "I feel no need to tell you my name either, for I was not the one following you. I have nowhere to stay for you; I too am a wanderer. I do not trust; trust leads to loss of caution. I would rather live paranoid than die foolish," she retorted. His eyes glittered out at her. Kayla sensed that something lurked behind them, almost unseen but deadly all the same. There was something different about this traveler; something a bit feral and unknown. And Kayla did not like the unknown.

Fenrir replyed, "Well you are a very interesting one aren't you. Fine then. You can call me Fenrir. I was following you because i was curious, if you can understand. And you are not a wonderer. You are not dressed as a traveler or packed by the looks of it for long distances. I am more observent than you giv eme credit for. I am also cautious, but at the same time trusting. You dont need to be paranoid to be on your gaurd."

She smirked. "You may refer to me as Kayla, then. I understand curiousity; as you no doubt saw, curiosity was what got me into a bit of a.....conflict with those men back there." Grinning a bit dangerously, she continued, "However, I can handle myself. I did not say I was wandering right now; I said I was a wanderer, that is what I do. Right now I am specifically traveling somewhere, hence the difference. And I pack light. Trust is easily betrayed; as a female, I find that a little bit of extra caution is not uncalled for."

Fenrir was surprised at the way she acted. She was overly sarcastic. This annoyed him to an extent. Fenrir replyed jsut as sarcasticly, "Well isn't somone just the articulate elf. Do not replace playful sarcasm with ignorance. And if you are going to a specific destination, and you are out here wandering, then you must have a camp near bye for the night. Which is one place I could stay. It would be most appreciated."

Kayla regarded him for a bit, considering. The elf would be most displeased, but there was really nothing to do about it. She had a feeling this elf would follow her whether she invited him or not. "Very well," she said with a curt nod of assent, "come along then." And without another word, she turned and began navigating her way back in the graying light. After a short time, she reached the campsite. All was as it had been when she had left. She figured she would have some explaining to do.

Fenrir was glad that she was willing to help him. He always remembered who helped him, so that he might return the favor. He replied delighted at her response, "Thank you, it is very appreciated." Fenrir then followed her close behind through the forest. He still was cautious, not knowing where those 12 men had gone, or the two men that he had followed in the first place. He saw their camp on the outskirts of the forest and followed Kayla.
