well i figured here we could post problems or questions about the battle since we don't want to OOC to much
I'd just like to rant a bit. I know i was an idiot in posting the beacons threads, but I was just a bit angry when all of the sudden these beacons are all over the place, even in enemy territory, and the reunited kingdoms has scouts in everyone and their brother's business. I was also a bit frustrated that Neurion has to wait before he can be here, but yet you guys just magically moved 20k troops over the place, through the mountains of mordor in like zip time, without a thread about moving them (if there is a thread, i'm sorry, but rl time should've been a rule if so, THEN i'll be okay with neurion having to wait) I'm sorry but i'm just letting some anger out, it's healthier than keeping it in. I mean why would anyone make the map to where the reunited kingdoms has full control, and for the evil realms, you have to go through hell and back to get anywhere. I also said i was mustering my troops, and waited at least 3 days, yet the reunited kingdoms were just like "20,000 troops stood waiting" i'm like 'wtf?' I know there are many people upset with me, i've not been the nicest person on the board lately, but I'll ask for your forgiveness if i've made you so. Lately i'm just awfully grumpy and tired all the time...Faramir, sorry for being mean to you in the pms, gandalf, sorry for acting like an a...erm.. *cough* a donkey to you with the beacons, Elessar, sorry for whining to you every other minute of the day. If there is anyone i'm leaving out..just tell me

Well i agree with you. Most of the time you shouldn't just like move an army without posting the mustering and the movement. But hey, its not all that big of a deal. Plus, with having Neurion have to wait it makes the battle last longer and is more fun, i think. But i think the best thing to do is just post and have fun.

Good idea to make a such thread, will be useful if it becomes needed. Well to answer your questions I will try and answer them as good I can, the reason why the troops of the Reunited Kingdom can move fast is cause they dont need to cross any country since they all are in one country who reaches almost the middle earth from south to north. In the thread in Ithilien called the gathering, there you can see all armies gather for war so take a look there if you want to see. Their is also a thread were you can see the army counts for each region in the reunited kingdom is and how many they contain, after Gandalf discovered the evil in Minas Morgul he and his company went back to ithilien..there he decide them to gather all force necessary so he went of to Minas Tirith were he meet the queen of Gondor and Indilwen his apprentice. Words from Dale had also reached the throne room at that time and so they made a dessision to offer Dale as an alliance gift to the dwarves but also all troops of the reunited Kingdom should be moved forth and so they did as Gandalf went back to Ithilien were his friends was waiting him. The troops moved out towards the black gates as a handful of 29 000 troops stayed in ithilien at the walls south at the new built walls that have been made a long time now actually who is finaly finished. A much longer time ago beacons were built up again after Al`Ketar(old ruler of Angmar) had destroyed some of them, at this time beacons were built all over Gondor.
Now if Neurion shall reach Mordor he either have to take two ways, one is threw southern Ithilien were the wall stands or threw Khand that is surrounded by huge walls like china itself but to cross that land I believe he most talk with Garthag if possible or figure other way to get pass. Remember their is no need to argue or get angry cause this..is just a game were we should have fun, nothing serious, nothing more. And one more thing..no worries Faeora, no damage taken..I understand, it can get a bit hectical under wars at forums sometimes.

Hint from an experienced war rp'er.... Get used to the realms of light cheating. hahaha. I don't mind waiting but if its in Mordor then where is this big wall i have to penetrate if im in Haradwaith not Dunland. Harad is directly below mordor so i don't see a big wall stopping me. Time to kill some people

And i am just saying this, but um, didn't the Black Gate and the Towers of Teeth and all the land of Mordor get sunken into the ground when the ring got destroyed?

Yes your correct master dwarf, the northern part of Mordor fell actually into ruin when Sauron died. But somehow the evil have now built it up I believe..with the lava mass have made new earth and so on..etc.. To answer Neurion, the side of light do not cheat we use info and tactics so that battle get realistics..as Khamul have writen in his thread in Mordor about the gates into his land, he have writen that Mordor only have a few exits..one is the black gate, one is Minas Morgul and the third and last one is the east end threw Khand or Rhun. If you havent seen the wall then here it is(the thread was made long time ago): www.middleearthret.proboards105.com/index.cgi?board=reunitedkingdom&action=display&thread=1168311944

Lava mass. Right....... Ok i can buy that, but um the Black Gates were made by the Numenorians if i remember correctly and there was no way to rebuild them after their destruction. I don't care that they are rebuilt i just find it rather amussing.
