While the disscussion was going on another messanger of Lindon arrived. "My lady, I bring good tidings!!" he announced "The steward of Gonder has told us that he will send us aid if we but hold out a little longer!!!"
(If you join your reinforcments with his there may be a chance)

Alatáriël sighed in relief. She was glad that Gondor would help. "This is good news," she said. "As of right now, we have little choice but to wait a little longer. We must wait for Ellroher to return, he will be bringing aid from Rohan."
(I would think so, Gondor has a fairly large army)

( I got a PM from the STeward of Gondor saying that if Lindon held out for a little longer Gondor would send help. I'm not sure exactly when they are coming)

(Okay, because I have no idea Ellroher is coming back either and the Dwarf character also hasn't been very active which is a good thing right now.)

(I found some time)
Outside the city, a single horn blew. The gaurds looked out and saw two riders. One was carring the flag of Rohan, and the other blew his horn again. This time, it was answered by a dozen others. The two riders began riding towards the city, wile behind them a dozen hounted units apeared, then two dozen, then a hundred, then several hundred. Riders were still apearing by the time the first two reached the city gates, which were huredly opened to alow them in. The two riders were led to the Throne room to speak to the queen. The taller of the two riders bowed formaly to Alatariel and then removed his helm, reaveling his two pointy ears. "High Alatariel. Did you miss me?" Ellroher asked as he kissed his betrothal. Then, setting personal feelings aside, he stated, "Alatariel, Queen of Rivendell, you have asked for help and Rohan has answered. I have brought 3600 riders with me to defend this city and her alies. The Rohirrum are yours to command."

(Wonderful)
Alatáriël moved toward the window and gazed out it, hearing the horns outside. She smiled. The Rohirrim had finally arrived. She moved away from the window and stood in the center of the room. She watched as two riders walked through the doors. Alatáriël already knew one of them was Ellroher without even needing to look. She smiled when he spoke. Although she said nothing, it was clear in her eyes that she did miss him. Her face flushed slightly when he kissed her. It really wasn't proper to display such affection so publicly, especially within the royal courts and around others of those courts. "You mus'nt do that in here," she whispered. "3600 is good," she said. "I know more aid will come as well."

"I know," Ellroher whispered back, "I don't intend to make a habit of it." Ellroher gave Alatariel a quick wink then grew serous. "3600 riders would be plenty if we were up against anything but Dwarves. Calvery does not do well against such short foes. They are too short to stab and too sturdy to run over." He paused for a moment then added, "But brought all my solders from Dunharrow. 600 men who I have personaly trained. They fight as fearcly on foot as they do from horseback. They will ride to aid Lindon. The rest will remain behind and gaurd Rivendell." Ellroher gave some orders to his captain and then asked, "When do we leave?"

"Good," Alatáriël said. Just by listening to him, it was obvious he knew a lot about Dwarves and how to fight them, while she, on the other hand, really did not. "You brought them all?" she said with a cocked eyebrow. "Are you sure that is wise? Who is guarding Dunharrow then?" Alatáriël crossed her arms over her chest and thought. "I am not sure when we should leave," she answered. "I am very disappointed at the fact that none of the other Elven realms have answered. Such news breaks my heart."

Ellroher nodded, "We needed the best, and Dunharrow has the best. I restationed some men from other cities to gaurd it. Plus all the Rohirrum have been put on alert. The whole contrey is ready to defend it's self if it is attacked." Ellroher could only shake his head at the news of no other Elf support. "Perhaps they have other things to worry about and cannot even spare a messenger themselfs to ask for aid."

"I refuse to believe that!" Alatáriël exclaimed. "There is no way our kin could possibly be too busy to answer us. Lord Círdan had sent us a messenger, he must have sent messengers to the other realms." Alatáriël paused for a moment then added, "Maybe they were delayed."

Ellroher watched Alatariel in slience as she colected her thoughts. He knew that she would chose the best course of action. One of Rohan's captains intered with a report for Ellroher. "The men have set up camp. Do you have any ferther orders?" Glancing at Alatariel before he answered, Ellroher said, "Yes. Prepare the Riders of Dunharrow to move out. We are going to Lindon to see if the city can be saved." The Captain bowed and hurryed to do his lord's will. Ellroher bowed to Alatariel and said, "If the city can be saved, I'll hold them undill you come." With that, Ellroher left to command his men.

Alatáriël looked back at Ellroher. She couldn't think of anything to say to him. Seeing the Rohirrim Captain and walk in and exchange words with the Half-Elf, it was clear that they were going to head to Lindon, with or without her. "Very well." Alatáriël tipped her head to Ellroher. "I will meet you there as soon as possible," she said before he walked out the door.
