This is the New Throne Room of the Iron Hills. The Iron Hills had been left desolate for some time and now Gurth had been elected chief of the Iron Hills and now sat upon the Throne.

Umbriel walked into the great room, looking again at the craftsmanship. She couldn't help but to laugh at herself as she looked around, hating she hadn't ever seen this room. "Pardon me.." she said and simply bumped past one of the dwarves that was guarding her, as if it were nothing...she looked at the walls and ran her fingers over them, observing the beautiful time and hard work it must've taken the dwarves. She saw a few glitters here and there, and was very surprised that the dwarves hadn't taken them out, though she wasn't complaining, the few jewels in the walls shone spectacularly. She then walked up to the dwarf she had simply brushed past "pardon me.. I couldn't help myself" she then continued to walk closer to the king. "he seems nice" she thought to herself, but may have just barely whispered it, but it didn't matter, she didn't mind anyone hearing. She had a great smile on her face, still excited to be where her relatives may have once been, knowing that they had known and been great crafters.

Gurth watched as the woman entered his Throne Room. He had been told of her admittance and was not very thrilled with his guards. He was not a man who was accustomed to letting strangers into his land, no matter what they were seeking. He had caught one to many strangers trying to steal from him in the past and was sure to keep an extra watchfull eye on this woman as well. When she stood before he he leaned back in his chair to look at her for a moment before he spoke. " And what is it that you seek in my halls? " He asked calmly.

She had been staring at the sparkles again, in the ceiling, when she heard his strong voice speak. She then replied, "Might I speak to you in private, lord Ironclaw?" and smiled brightly to him, hoping he would oblige. "I have no weapons upon me, and I assure you, I have as much muscle as the nearest hobbit..you've nothing to fear" She said smiling politely, and then she began to wander to herself. What if he had known Navir, and they were great enemies? or perhaps they had fought, or worse..he had killed him...no no, that couldn't be true, dwarves weren't like that. She gave one of the guards a bag she was carrying so he could check it, but before he did so, she removed from it a fairly large glass mug, and a large flask, full of aged ale, with a drop or two of elvish wine in it, making it a bit sweeter. She poured a glass and offered one of the guards to give it to the king, making sure not to approach him herself. She didn't think these dwarves felt too friendly about her, so she wouldn't push her luck.

He listened to the woman and saw as she handed his guard the flask and the guard gave it to him. He sat it on the armrest of the chair. " In private you say. " He said as he stroked his long beard. " Very well...." He said as he gestured for all of the dwarves in the hall to leave and they proptly did so. He then looked at the flask and picked it up and drunk it all in one gulp. He then set the mug down loudly and looked at her. " Now, what is it that you wish to speak of? If you wish to gain some sort of gold or jewerly from you using your womanly whiles i shall warn you, i am not easily swayed in such matters. " He said calmly.

She looked at him curiously. She didn't know if it would phase him, but decided it best to tell him now "of course, sharing your courage and loyalty, i'm sure that you noticed the same thing at first about me, as your friends did. yes, I am an elf. I'm half elf, and I'm half barrow-wight" She said the word with just as much emphasis as elf, no more, no less. But yet she continued to smile "I wish not to trick you or lie to you, so I'll tell you what I want, because it's quite obvious my company isn't very welcomed, which I regret, if it is some fault on my behalf. However, I seek information on an old old dwarf, if he is still living. I need to know if you've heard of a dwarf named..Narvi?" She said all her words fairly gently, the accustics in the room were wonderful, every small whisper seemed to carry in every nook and crany throughout the room.

He listened to her and whenever she mention she was a Wight he made not motion. He was indeed afraid of such creatures but he would not show his weakness here in his own Hall. He sat back in his Throne looking at her listening to what she was saying. When she spoke or Narvi he immediatly recongnized the name. He was the dwarf that crafted the Doors to Moria and was extremely skilled in such things. However, Gurth had never met him but his Uncle had and they had not gotten along at all. " And what would you want with him? " He asked as he rose to his feet quickly. ' Would you wish to cut away his fingers and toes and feed them back to him? " He asked coldly stepped down towards her his huge axe in hand.

She smiled at his axe, and continued to beam at him. "I'd greatly enjoy speaking to him of my family." She was not afraid. She felt sure that she had seen a glint of fear from his servants, and maybe that meant him too? but she wouldn't guess wildly, so she decided to continue smiling, and talking "Though i'm sure there are some who might wish to do that, it's not my current goal."

He kept walking towards her, getting closer and closer with evey step. " Really, is that so? And so i take it that you were friends with Narvi? " He asked as he now stood right before her, looking up at her his eyes like fire as his hand gripped his axe tightly, as he rung his hands back and forth as he spoke imagining all the things that he wished to do to that dwarf. By now his fear for her had passed for his mind was clouded with anger and distrust.

"No, I wasn't...Celebrimbor was, however" She looked down at him smiling and began to walk away. She motioned to one of the walls, and admired its strength. "so...how long did it take you to build this throne room?" She asked politely. She would try her best to get away from a fight, but wasn't sure she could help it. Surely he wouldn't attack a woman without a weapon.

He continued to walk towards her as she walked back. Eventually she found herself pressed again the huge doors to his Throne Room. " So you seek to find Narvi? " He asked with a sudden smile. " Well, i shall show you were he is! " he yelled as he called forth to Dwarf guards he lept upon her and seized her arms tightly and forcefully binding her in strong dwarf chains. " You may join your friend Narvi in the Dungeon were he died! " He said with a smile

Umbriel smiled and began to laugh "Ironclaw..I truly tried to be kind to you...but you've left me no choice. I'm upset now" She said and then all of a sudden one of his guards had died. Her hand was sticking through him, at his heart. Her hand then dissolved into what looked like shadow, and passed through the chain, and her legs and her other arm followed. She smiled and leaned down to him "you do well to fear the barrow-wights...I would've been happy to be friends, but you wouldn't allow it" She said and grabbed one of the chains. She ripped it from the wall, tearing a stone out with it, and began to swing it around wildly. She smiled still, the wind breaking from the speed at which the chain was flailing. As one of the dwarves tried to attack her, she spun around onced, the chain still flailing, and then let it fall gracefully against his helmet, rendering him completely unconcious. She used the chain and stone like a mace, but then stopped spinning it. "perhaps I should leave, before anyone else gets hurt?" She said, still politely smiling at the king.

He stepped away from the creature as soon as she changed form into a Wight. He had no knowlege of how to fight such creatures. Guards rushed into the room with crossbows and unleased a hail of arrows upon her. More dwarves with broad shields that covered their whole bodies burst forth through the doors, their axes swinging as they rushed towards her. Gurth stood back, waiting to see what effect the Dwarves would have upon her, but yet he was deep in thought. Suddenly he reMembered a song that had been used before to scare away Wights that old Tom Bombadil sung. He immediatly began to sing. " Get out, you old Wight! Vanish in the sunlight! Shrivel like the cold mist, like the winds go wailing. Out into the barren lands far beyond the Mountains! Come never here again! Leave your barrow empty. Lost and forgotten be, darker than the darkness, Where gates stand for ever shut till the world is Mended!"

Umbriel had welcomed these challengers with open arms. She had managed to knock two unconcious when she heard the ironclaw singing the song. It felt as if her insides would tear completely out of her, she gave the most dreadful wail, that caused even a few of the rocks found loose amongst the walls fall down. She knew she could not stay, and at his last tune, the last words, she ran, and she ran straight through the gate at the entrance, not even needing it opened for her, but she did not go far, she stayed close to the gate, close enough she could be seen, but far enough she could not be harmed. Now she realized she wouldn't ever find out who her family was, or is..so she decided in a few days time she would make it up to the dwarves.

Ironclaw continued to sing the song until he was sure that he was gone. A few stones landed around him before he went and helped his comrades up from the ground and tended to the wounded. He looked around for a moment and found a Captain that had happened. " Send the lines to that song to the soldiers at the gate. Tell them to sing it all together if she approaches the walls again. Let every dwarf no the song and the verses. Send word to Ironhide and alert him as well. " He said as he removed his helmt and walked back to his Throne and sat down and once again placing himself in deep thought.
