Gurth looked back at the officers behind him and began to laugh as he turned to face the Lord of Rhun still laughing before he regained his composure. " And out of curiosity....what could you possibly offer me? " He asked with another smile. " Gold, jewels, soldiers, armor, weapons, horses, food? All of this we have in plenty and abundance. " He said with another laugh. " What would we gain other than strong fortresses that could be very well used against use if war ever effected up both? " He asked calmly as he leaned now as his large double bladed axe. " Unlike you, the former ruler of Rhun had something of value in which she could offer. However, we are no longer in need of such things due to a few military victories. So tell me, what do you believe you can offer us in payment of such tasks? " He asked

Rawhide smiled and shook his head. He knew that this would happen. "I do not know what Rhun and offer that you don't already have. I would like to know however, what would it take for you to agree?"

He looked at the Lord and shook his head. " Nothing for i do not see any need for such an agreement. We have everything we want and have no desire to aid those that can give us nothing in return. " He said calmly. " Now, i would advice you to go back to your home while you still can. " He said calmly.

Rawhide shook his head in frustration. Polotics were not his strong point. Bowing in respect to the Dwarf lord for alowing him to at least make his request, Rawhide said, "Thank you Master Dwarf for your time." Though he was very disipointed that he could not employ the dwarves and frustraited at himself for not being better at negoteation, Rawhide added, "If you should think of something that would be adiquit payment for the Dwarves servises, please let me know. Perhaps in the future we may be able to binafit each other more." Rawhide bowed again to the dwarf lord and then he, his escort, and his solders turned and marched away.

"What about some Mithril dearest Brother." a voice floated down the wind as a lone rider drew up next to Rawhide and embrace him quickly. Morwen smiled at the dwarf. Retirement was incredibly boreing i'm afaid, and Rawhide allowed me to return as co-ruler." she explianed walking her horse towards the dwaven king. "So brother, how about it, a renewal of the old alliance, a fortress for us, some mithril for you. How about it?" she asked smileingly.

Rawhide was surprized and overjoyed to see Morwen. Now he felt that the Dwarf king would listen. "Queen Morwen, I am very releaved to see you. Perhaps you can correct the mistakes I have made in the short time that I've ruled in your absence." Rawhide said as he bowed in respect to his Queen.

"King Rawhide, i know that our people can not have suffered in anyway under your rule, and that you shall lead us to greatness on the battle feild." she replied bowing in return. She turned her gaze back at Gurth "Well, or should i tell them to go straight to another kingdom with thier chest of Mithril?"
