Kayla took the cushions and began to arrange them on her blanket, marveling at the soft richness of them. In all her travels she had seen nice things, touched nice things, but had never owned anything really nice. Her collections were of the weaponry and healing sort. Her mind flew back to the place she once called home. Oh, how she wished she could have taken everything with her! But it was best this way. Maybe one day, when Sentinel was big enough, they could go back.....but no. She would never return. Too many memories.
Sentinel's eyes widened and narrowed with pleasure as he examined the dainty jewelry. He could tell that it was real gold from the rich, reddish tint. Very little silver or any other metals added. The sapphire, though not huge, was a good one, with few flaws. Placing a claw over it, he replied, "It is I who should thank you. You have freed my sibling and done us a great boon. And I will treat this treasure with utmost respect."

"I'm sure you would treat any treasure with the upmost respect." she laughed, but accepted his thankyou with a graceful nod of her head. One thing did worry her though. She saw Dariah as breeding stock, but if Sential saw her as a sister, whitch she probebly was, they couldn't mate; and she didn't think bamini would be tempted too.

This thought had also crossed Kayla's mind. It was hard trying to rebuild a species off three members, especially when two of them were probably related. Just another dilemma. Dariah was the essential key to the entire race; if she wouldn't choose either of the two males as a mate then there was no hope for them. Unless there were still wild dragons, but they would be untamable and most likely much older than any of the three they had. Bamini and Dariah made the most logical pair; Sentinel was older by almost a decade and more than likely blood related. Inbreeding was usually not a good idea. But Bamini was, well, so much bigger! So the only thing to do was to make sure Dariah got a steady food supply and kept growing.

Suddenly Bamini growld and turned rushing theough the caves. A great roar was heard and a scream. Morwen rushed through an found Bamini poised over a young man; he cught sight of her. "YOUR MAGISTY" he screamed in fear. "Bamini" he big dragon backed away. "Why are you here?" she asked levaly. "Yor maigesty, his highness sent me to find yo and bring you this mesage" he panted, handin her a package an eyein the dragons wairly. She opend it a read the letter inside, then turned to Kayla. "I'm sorry, it seems i must return to Rhun to tak up the crown." she thought for a minet, "You, Dariah and Sentinal are welcome to come and live in Dracon Keep in the Mountains of Rhun. I am sorry" she apoliised realsiein how she' probebl spoilt eerything for them.
