"Go!" The elf commanded his black stallion, giving her a slight nudge with its feet. Quickly Nightshade broke into a gallop, following it's master's command. At the moment there was a small drizzle on the open golden plains of Rohan. Xhel grinned wildly, his left hand held onto the horse's reins. His right gripped a bag of gold so heavy it appeared ready to rip from the weight. The mischief maker had just robbed a well guarded tax collector almost single handedly. He had the aid of his wolf Sasha, whom made it rather easy. She had attacked one of the guardsmen, injuring it severely. They then gave chase, leaving it for the most part unguarded. Xhel, handled the rest. Slipping into the camp, he found an over sized chest. Within it, there seemed to be an infinite amount of gold. After filling his bag, he gave the chest a good kick spilling the gold onto the floor. This had happened, maybe three hours ago. It had been sunset at the time, and what had just been a drizzle minutes ago turned into a downpour. The horse's gallop had now become a struggle to walk, the water now passed her hoofs. Upon noticing this, Xhel looked for high land. His eyes gave The Wold a quick glance. There was then a smile of satisfaction. "That would do." He muttered underneath his breath.
Don't you think your wasting your life? "Excuse me?" He responded to the voice in his head, whom had infiltrated his mind years ago. The elf was now sitting along with his horse on a hill top. Your shenanigans. Is there a point to blindly rob somebody. Maybe you should settle down. "As in get married?" He chuckled at the thought. "I'll consider it." He said, his voice dripping in sarcasm. Better yet, why don't you make a name out of yourself. Your capable of it. You have what it takes to make a hero or a villain. Xhel laid down staring up wards at the sky. "I've considered it. Believe me. But theres no such thing as Good or Evil, its all a grayish blend. It would basically be me against the world. " The pouring rain turned into a roar, making it extremely difficult to hear. Well it sounds like a challenge doesn't. Something you wouldn't turn down.

*Kassandra had been traveling through the woods when the rain started pouring down on her. She frowned and looked up, the rain splashing against her face as she sighed. The soft ground below her on the bed of the forest was quickly turning into mud, and it splashed up on her previously white dress. She cursed under her breath and started stomping out of the mud, putting her feet down slowly so as not to splash it even more than it already was from the heavy rain. She stumbled here and there, an incredibly clumsy person for such power, and looked around for some shelter. She couldn't really see anything even when she squinted, but saw an outline of a large tree with solid ground under it that wouldn't quickly turn to mud. The tree's branches were incredibly thick and seemed to be holding well against the harsh rain, so she ran to it. She shook a bit and dried herself off as much as possible, and tidied her dress a bit before sitting down. She looked around and could see clearly now that the rain wasn't hitting her in the eyes, and she noticed a man not too far away..just lying down on a hill. She scooted a bit behind the tree, not really caring if he saw her or not, but she wanted to see what he was up to*

(Shortish post writer's block ) Xhel closed his eyes, at this point there was no reason he should keep them open. The rain when laying down made his vision blurry and annoyed his eyes. So have you considered it? The voice spoke, startling the elf sending him into an upright sitting position. "In the name of Orome, this decision will take more than thirty seconds." Xhel said, in a relatively loud voice. He was not aware of the peering eyes. Why not? Every other decision you make is upon instinct. Are you scared elf? Scared of failing? "No, I enjoy my life as it is. I don't need the fame, I know I can become the most well known swordsmen in all of Middle Earth. I'm the best, you know it and I do." Xhel than stood up onto his two feet. Yes.... But the world doesn't. He ignored the voice, his commentary was unnecessary and unwanted.

*Kassandra squinted at this man as he shot up so quickly. She couldn't help but shrug behind the tree, but then realized he hadn't noticed her. She stood up and noticed he was talking. She looked around again and didn't see anyone, and doublechecked. With a puzzled look on her face she started approaching him, and screamed* You...there! *trying to shout above the rain* There is cover over here if you don't want to sit out in the rain! * she could barely see him but assumed he would hear her. She made sure to eye him cautiously, even though she was sure she could handle herself in a fight. She looked around one more time to make sure there was no one else, and the puzzled look she had remained on her face*

Xhel hadn't expected the female voice, which despite the rain he could still hear. The possibility of the eaves dropper hearing him apparently speaking to himself didn't bother him. Sure it might make him appear to be insane, despite knowing he wasn't most people still did. He took a three sixty turn, spotting a the silhouette of a person along side a tree .The elf quickly moved to-wards his horses side and grabbed her reins. "Nightshade." He whispered tugging the reins lightly. The horse by no means was enjoying the rain, but she tolerated it for her master. Oh how cute, you're going to go make a new friend. Its the horse, she hates it the rain. Xhel headed directly down hill to the tree. He didn't mind the rain, not at the least. For the most part he enjoyed it, but at certain times he could only tolerate it. Now was one of those time. Finally underneath the protection of the tree, the elf could see clearly. He grinned, He had made the correct assumption. It had been a woman who called for him. He slowly let go of the reins, and headed to wards the tree to lean on it. He was cold, and it showed. The hairs on his forearm stuck out despite being wet. "Whats somebody like you doing out here in the rain?"

*she gave a friendly smile as he came over and noticed he was an elf, which made her even happier she'd asked him over* "Oh nothing..just walking in the forest" *she noticed he had a horse now and nodded towards it* you have a beautiful horse there *she said at least trying to be kind..she didn't get the chance much as she was normally too busy hating someone or seeking vengeance. She still was wary of this man, not sure who he had been talking to, so kept about three or four feet from him. She still decided to be nice and offered him her hand, hoping he wasn't insane. She didn't care if he attacked, she assumed she could kill him, but it would be trouble with which she didn't really want to deal. She still kept her friendly smile while her hand was stuck out for him* And what are you doing out here? especially just lying in the rain

Xhel nodded his head, Nightshade was his prized possession. Ahead of his wolf by a long shot. "You'll never find a better horse." He said, Xhel's horse constantly received compliments. He had lost count of the number of times men had offered to buy her. "Out in the forest?" Xhel mumbled lightly, as she continued to speak. "I'm a traveller... I go where my feet take me. It just happened to lead me here.. Besides I love the rain... My horse not so much." He did not mention, robbing the tax man. It was information he would rather keep to himself. He reached his arm forward to shake the woman's hand. As he slowly shook it, he rubbed his thumb against the woman's skin trying to be as subtle as possible. Her skin was smooth, smoother than most elves. He let go of her hand, and calmly took a step back. His suspicious nature kicking in. Xhel glanced at her curvy figure head to toe. She appeared to be an elf. " Lorien contains the closest elf settlement. It would be dangerous for a she-elf like your self to journey so far from it." While his words seem to be concerning, his tone was suspicious. "You are an elf?"

*she laughed a bit when he said his horse didn't like the rain. She could tell, by its eyes that it didn't seem very thrilled about being in a downpour. She brushed of the feeling of him rubbing her hand, she didn't really notice it because it was so light. She grinned at his question* well I think I can defend myself, besides, i'm not from the settlements*she stood a bit taller now with pride, and was a very tall woman* I'm part elf, and part maia *she said gently. She was sure the word traveled over the sound of the rain. She noticed that this man was not the first person to ask about her race..people seemed awfully curious in Middle earth.* My name is Kassandra, nice to meet you..I'm assuming you're an elf too? *she said nodding to his ears*

Xhel blinked once in disbelief. "Part Maia?" He wasn't shocked by the fact he had met a Maia, it more the fact that he had met one during the Fourth Age. It had been a long time ago, But he had met more than one Maia. He took another step back, it was a common mis assumption that Maia were good. They weren't to be trusted, not at the least. "Really?" He made notes of the location of his weapons. "Kassandra... Kassandra...." He repeated the named underneath his breath. He did not recall the name, there were many Maia, he had never happened to hear of this one. " Yes I am elf." Or its at least safe to assume I am. He added the latter part in his head. Quite frankly he didn't know, but chances were he was. "Your kind... they don't roam Middle Earth any more... Why are you here?" The elf unlike most men was not thinking of the woman's beauty. He had will, that more than not backfired when it came to keeping woman disinterested in him. They would find breaking him a challenge, but that was beside the point. He was curious, he had to know why a Maia was here.

*she could tell he was uncomfortable and wasn't warming up to him like most of the simpletons she had met before... beauty and pheromones wouldn't make this elf be her friend, she could tell she would have to earn it* "I say I am a maia..but that isn't the whole truth" *she knew she would need to tell him for him to understand, but she didn't want him to thinks he was completely twisted. She put on a bit of a sad face, the best the actress in her could muster* "alas..I am a fallen Maia, I was a servant of Varda but she saw me..*she thought about a word that wouldn't flag his instincts too much* ill-prepared for her teachings. But I assure you, I only have the best of interests

Xhel tilted his head downward, looking at the ground. Sauron was a fallen Maia.... He had been corrupted by Melkor, not to mention Gothmog had been a fallen Maia. Needless to say, he did not wish to engage in battle with her. "But you are a Maia.. How can you be unprepared.." It was as if she was being interrogated by the elf. Maybe it would be best, to stop asking her questions. Xhel she is a Maia should would prove to be a formidable foe. Fight her, defeat her, your name will be written in the history books. He put aside the thought and moved away from Kassandra. "I am....." He rarely gave out his true name to strangers. Of course there had been a number of exceptions. "I am referred to as The White Thief." It was a name given to him long ago, mostly due to his white hair and the white cloak he wore when he went robbing. It by no means helped him steal, but instead provided a challenge.

*she gave a sigh and realized this man was quite curious* I was too undisciplined and too much of a "free-spirit" for varda *she said with distaste, now remembering the occurance, she began to pace a bit* She taught me a great deal of what I know about sorcery and mysticism, but I suppose I was a bit too good for her liking..so she expelled me from the order *she said again with a bit of frustration..she realized she was rambling then looked back at him and resumed her smile* the white thief? well that sounds like quite the adventurer's name..am I correct? *she could tell this guy wasn't the most popular man in town, but know she was thinking he was a bit of a ranger, or a rogue...She kept seeing him shake off something, she saw it now, and she saw it before from afar. Like something was bothering him, some troubling thought, but she didn't know what it was, and wasn't sure she wanted to know*

(Sorry for taking so long i was interrupted constantly ) Xhel kept quiet as she went through her rant. It was interesting to say at the least. Chances were her free spirit would not benefit him in anyway, then again he could be wrong. "Well...." He approached the chaotic Maia with caution. As far as he knew she was a nut case, granted he was completely alright in the head. "Its a title, I don't give out my name too often." Xhel said. He didn't care if people knew he didn't like to give out his name, really he was constantly changing the title he gave out for names. Not only for shits and giggles but it caused confusion, not mass confusion but confusion never the less. The elf had lost count of the times he had given a name to be referred to somebody, before robbing them blind. "Magic huh.... " This interested him, and he showed. He approached Kassandra standing about a foot away. A grin crossed his face. "And what can you do with this magic? Can you manipulate the mind, lift curses, banish souls?" Elf do not try it. You need me, you've needed me for Four long ages. I'm as much as you as you are. The elf payed no heed to the voice, he simply kept staring at Kassandra. " Can you teach your magic to others... Assuming it would work at a lesser degree."

*She sort of laughed at him at first, thinking he was just joking with her, but then she realized he was serious and she became a bit more solemn* I can do any of these, and quite a bit more * she said with an equally devilish grin...there it was again though; it seemed he was shaking off something that was bugging him. She took a pretty big leap and decided to speak her mind* "I am the best sorceress or enchantress in middle earth and anywhere else..I've learned from many and have used numerous famous wizards and witches as stepping stones to get to where I am...I will not lie to you..I've done bad things, but I have done them to achieve my dream, which is a truly worthy cause

Xhel smirked, as she spoke. Well somebody might be full of themselves. He thought to himself. Of course he couldn't be the judge of that, to him if he could back her talk up it was alright. He knew he did a lot of talking, but he believed he had the skill to back it up. " The most powerful huh?" He didn't believe it really, and his tone of voice showed it. "But if you claim you are then maybe you can help me... Lend me your powers..." He paused to think. A smirk crossed his face, he didn't understand his logic. He wouldn't trust somebody with his name, but he would allow them to 'operate' on his mind with magic to banish a voice who in some ways was annoying. "Or you can teach me...." Xhel by no means sounded desperate. It was what he wanted to avoid. Running his hand through his hair covering his eye, he let out a small chuckle. "I understand, that you might want something in return.... But I don't know... what I can do... For somebody of your status."
