*she looked him up and down* hmm..*she smirked* well I've never 'lent' someone my powers..I've only used others as a shell for them *she thought for a minute and grinned* i'm sure I could think of some way to use you *she noticed he didn't seem to enthused about the idea of getting her powers though* most would give anything for even an ounce of my power..tell me why I should be so quick to allow you to use such a gift if you don't want it because of nothing more than a trifling wish? *she said with a bit of a questioning tone..she bet that inside he wanted it, but wasn't sure of that just yet. She liked this man so far, he hadn't slipped up*

Xhel continued to grin. He did not desire magic, it would make life to easy. The elf liked challenges, maybe an ounce of him wanted to use some magic but he would not kill for it. That was a lie, he would but killing didn't bother him. Xhel simply did not wish for magic. He shook his head left and right, still with a grin. " Well, I won't lie. I don't have a good reason really. Not that it would matter. You said you were banished because of your and I quote" Xhel said, making quotation marks with his hands. "Free spirit. Unquote. If that was the case, theres nothing I can tell you, other than making it a simple favor." He really did not give it much thought, Xhel was not one to plan conversations ahead of time. He was an impulse speaker, what he thought was what he said. With really no filtering. Xhel folded his arms underneath each other. He didn't care what she would decide, he would live with the voice.

*She smiled* master elf has very good memory *she said laughing a bit. She raised her brow again, studying him, trying to figure him out; But he seemed very mysterious. She shrugged and then nodded* It could be fun I suppose.. *she held her hand out for his, waiting for him to take it. She would see if he could handle the power. Most humans would be ripped to shreds just by receiving it. The magic she had possesed took her years of training and gaining knowledge, and most people just couldn't understand;couldn't comprehend how much power it was. She started mumbling some words to begin the spell while she waited for him. She would give him most of her power, enough to be a threat to herself if she didn't have her own power. She grinned and then spoke in a bit of a sarcastic tone* this should be fun

Xhel gritted his teeth, holding back a slight bit of anger. He didn't like to be teased or mocked, he was the teaser, he was the mocker. This time he manage to hide his anger and restrain himself. His usual reaction would of been a dagger to the throat. The elf let out a sigh as he looked at her hand. He couldn't hide the fact he was power hungry, he loved to be in control. But he knew he couldn't keep the magic, it was to powerful. The elf didn't know want to what he could do with it. He nodded his head, reaching forward to lightly grab her hand. Xhel waited, knowing at one point he would feel something. There would be some sort of sign, he wouldn't have to wait for her word.
Suddenly the elf felt a torrent of magic, flowing no forcing its way into the elf's body. The weight on his shoulders suddenly got heavier, it was unbearable but he still managed to stay on his two feet. It didn't last though; Xhel pulled his hand away from Kassandra gravity finally having its way and causing the elf to collapse onto one knee. The elf let out a small grunt before breathing heavily. The magic once within the elf, made its place at home. It seemed to belong in the elf, and despite the satisfaction of knowing he contained such power he would have to give it back.
Not seconds after breathing heavily did Xhel begin to chant words underneath his breath. It was a language he didn't recognize, the words to him had no meaning. But it had an edge of familiarity, and they came as naturally as they would to Kassandra. Part of him was surprised, because something told him it wasn't part of the spell Kassandra had cast. Elf stop now! Its for the better good of the Earth. Believe me you'll regret it, Stop for the good of the world. The elf's eyes began to glow brightly, as he continued the chant which came merely out of instinct. Then suddenly ending the chant the elf spoke in a booming deep voice, one that was not his. " I banish you from the elf's body. He has served his purpose ages longer than necessary. You will leave him in peace now!" There was silence, followed by a burst of magic originating from the elf. Xhel stood up, an aura of magic surrounding him. An aura too strong to only from the magic lent from Kassandra. His eye still glowing Xhel reached his hand out ward. "Thank you." The same deep voice spoke, before touching the Maia lightly. With a grin, the glow disappeared from his eyes. The elf stood still before falling onto both knees. He stayed in that position, his head hanging low before he completely fell down his head laying on the ground by Kassandra's feet.

*kassandra smile at the elf's first reaction to the magic. She assumed it would make him weak, but then noticed he had fallen to the ground. Before she could reach him to help him up he had started chanting words. She herself couldn't even translate them fluently, only bits and pieces. She backed up a bit to give him so room for whatever it was he was attempting to do. She then realized the magic must've taken hold of him, corrupted him a bit. She saw him seeming to be commuicating with someone, like she had before, but then opened her eyes wide when he spoke..something was speaking through him. She shook her head, unaware of what was happening, and then when the energy burst from him her hair and dress flew back like a hurricane had come upon them. She was instantly knocked on her back from the immense force of the blow, which felt like a great wall of wind had smashed into her. She stood up quickly after catching her hair, while he was still acting out of someone else's will, then he touched her, and she immediately felt stronger again. She shook her head, gasping for breath after all this had happened, a bit dazed from disbalief and from being knocked on her back. She saw him fall in what seemed like slow motion, and as she reached down to feel him he felt slightly cold. She quickly dropped to her knees to more easily check him. He still had a pulse...that was good, but what had happened? Even with her knowledge she was bewildered. "Elf...Elf!" she said patting him on the head, trying to awake him. "ELF" She said a bit louder this time. She was still trying to comprehend what had just happened, while wondering what she needed to do about the now unconcious elf.

Nightshade amiss all managed to stay calm. The horse by no means took no thought to his master's different booming voice. The blast of magic had thrown her onto her two hind legs, but luckily she had managed to stay onto her two feet. Her head turned in concern of Xhel, who lied on the floor motionless. She trotted forward along his side and the now yelling female. The intelligent horse lowered her head and gave the elf a small nudge on the cheek.
It was dark, to the left of him... to the right. Below or above him, the elf appeared to be standing on endless space. "Elf!" "Elf!" There was somebody yelling him, referring to him the same way the voice had. "He's gone.... You must understand that despite his thinking he meant for the best of the world... At least in the long run. But I do not blame you of your rash move... Four Ages was too long."

*She shook her head a bit confused. She looked around for help but knew she would find no one. She sighed and knew she had to do something* alright then.. *she said and put her arms under his body, easily picking him up as she had the strength of a few men because she was a maia. She trotted down the hill, then looked back to call the horse but realized it was already behind them, following its master like nothing unusual had happened. Kassandra decided it would be best to continue speaking to him to see if he would wake. She chuckled a bit and began speaking *"took quite a turn back there..didn't expect you'd react that way... If you can hear my, I'm sorry for not realizing the reaction you would have. I've never seen anything like that..You seemed to be channeling something through you in the ancient language, but not even I know all about it, whereas you were speaking it as if you were Eru himself! *she said laughing a bit* I'll find you somewhere nice to lie down for a while, out of the rain. *though most of it had stopped, it was still drizzling a bit. The clouds seemed to be rolling away and then Kassandra realized she wasn't actually talking to a concious man* oh yeah..right *she said rolling her eyes at her forgetfullness. She continued trotting down the large hill, and was lucky enough to not have slipped in this mud so far*

Xhel could no longer hear the woman's voice, as if it had been boxed out. "Who are you, what happened." He questioned the unseen speaker. "I can not answer the first question, for the other... I will not answer. You will get the perspective from another." The elf did not question the speaker. "Now... Xhel...." The voice called him by his name. "That is what he called you, did he not?" It was a rhetorical question, and Xhel knew it. " Answers will come in due time. Everything will make sense." Xhel put aside the speaker. This was clearly a dream, as he had many times had similar dreams in the big black room, and they had been odder... and less straight forward. But each reflected his life in one way or another. He let out an annoyed sigh, all that was left was waking up. To see if the magic had worked. He had lost consciousness almost immediately after being brought to his knees by the magic.

*Kassandra looked down at him, thinking he was just half-concious. She knew the feeling. She assumed he could here her and process what she was saying, but his answers were that of a dazed man, sounding like he was drunk almost. She continued carrying him, and now found a small abandoned cave not far from where they were. It was only big enough for about 10 people, but would definately hold for protection against the rain. She now encouraged him to wake up as she layed him down. She looked around for something to lay his head on and found a rock, and she tore her sleeves off to make a pillow. She wrapped them up tight and laid it under his head on the rock, and pointed her hand about 5 feet from them and flicked her wrist, which then caused and energy to pulse through her hand and shoot a fire out of her fingertips. It immediately warmed up the damp cave and she sat smiling, deciding to try to fully wake him* Wake up...Can you hear me? Wake up, you're fine now *she said in almost in a daze herself. She was incredibly tired and wanted to close her own eyes so badly*

It did not take long for the elf to wake up. His visible eye shot open. "Where am I?" He asked more to himself, not really expecting an answer from anybody. The first thing the elf noticed was the warmth of the area. Sitting upright his vision returned to him. He was in a cave.... there was a fire.... and Kassandra sitting actually right next to him. That answered the majority of his questions, but not all of them. He turned to face the Maia. The elf made an attempt to a kind smile, he was not a smiling person. He rarely smiled other than out of laughter, to him this was a fake laugh. His eyes scanned her, up and down. She had ripped off her sleeves to make a pillow. She had lent her powers, as far as he knew she was a kind person. Maybe somebody who liked to be liked. "Thank you." He managed, it was killing him. Xhel rarely gave multiply thanks in a day. "What happened? Did it work?" She could hopefully answer the first question. Did it work? There was no response. His body was recuperating fast, the magic had worn him down to his dismay. "Was it suppose to work like that?"

*kassandra looked him up and down when he sat upright to make sure he wasn't hurt anywhere. She laughed at his smile and then hid it in hopes of making him not feel embarassed. She watched him curiously as he looked around and then smiled and answered his questions* "well..what happened was a mystery to even me honestly. I've never seen anyone react that way..." *she said in a curious tone. thinking some other force must've caused it, but not saying anymore about it.* "As to whether it worked or not, I'm sure it did, as my back is still feeling the effects" *she said rubbing her back and laughing a bit. She wasn't actually aware of what he was really talking about, but thought she knew. She then looked a bit unsure of herself, then responded again* "No...that's the very confusing thing of it. It wasn't supposed to work like that at all. I've never seen such a reaction to magic, though I assumed you wouldn't be able to handle it without becoming a bit weakened, you seemed to radiate power from it I haven't seen around middle earth since...Well in a long time *she said correcting herself. She didn't want him knowing he seemed to possess a force greater than the very magic she had given him* You have potential..for what I don't know, but I can tell you're a very interesting person *she said in a curious tone. She now nodded with a warm smile and looked him in the eye* not a problem at all *she said commenting to his thanks*

Xhel turned his head slightly to the left. He was obvious perplexed. "So I wasn't suppose to lose consciousness" He only recalled falling onto one knee and trying to resist the overwhelming magic. " And your back.... what exactly happened?" They obviously had two different stories. The elf stood onto his two feet, to lean against the wall. He grinned, could he unlock the potential of possibly using magic. It was quite possible that he could teach himself, maybe. Xhel did not want the woman's magic, other than for that short amount of time. The elf wanted his own, to stand out. "Most people find me to be slightly interesting." He was still grinning. "Either that or ill-mannered." Of course for the most part he hadn't been rude to Kassandra. Yes she was dangerous, and could quite possibly kill him but he had mocked many more powerful than him. He had needed something from her, and he had received it. Now it was the elf's turn to give back to the woman. If she did not bring up the topic of what she wanted, he would.

*Kassandra eyed him curiously when he spoke. He was becoming a bit cheeky, and he knew it too* You..don't remember? *she said a bit confused too.* You were speaking to someone..or something, and you..*she hesitated whether or not to tell him.* "You just fell, immediately..nothing really happened." *She had lied. She didn't want his head getting big, or filling himself with ideas about his possible potential. She certainly didn't like the idea of another like herself running about, causing trouble here and there; That was her job. "Well you are very peculiar" She said nodding in agreement. "and no, you definately were not supposed to become unconcious..." She grinned and thought she'd pop his bubble a bit* "Guess you just aren't strong enough for such power... You might need some more training if you want to achieve something that powerful" *she smiled in her mind, and couldn't help but wonder if the elf was as prideful as he seemed to be.*

Xhel let out a humph. He was cheeky, and he definitely knew it. There was nothing, or nobody that could change him. "Oh really?" He somehow wasn't buying it. She obviously switched her story from one thing to or another. The elf folded his arms. He would find out what really happened. "So tell me, Was I talking to somebody or was I not. When I was lying on the floor did I just radiate potential or did something else happen. I'm not buying the story twist. Oh and why would your back hurt?" The elf fired away, his tone of voice not so kind. Xhel didn't like being lied to. "Who exactly was I talking to?" The elf sent a glare, she was testing his pride. He was a prideful person, and it was quite obvious. The elf moved in front of Kassandra, to stand face to face with the Maia. Maybe not a good idea, but oh well. He stood tall, showing pride and a hint of arrogance. "You don't know me woman. But I would go through the most rugged of training sessions to get anything I want. Because if theres anything I really want, something my heart truly desires.... It will be mine."

*She laughed at his portrayal of frustration. She knew she had slipped up in her story and for some reason wasn't surprised he had found out. She looked him in the eyes and laughed in his face to make him angrier...she enjoyed taunting him, but decided he'd had enough. She stepped away from him and then began to speak* "You spoke with the voice of someone that was much deeper than your own..almost inhuman" *She now looked back at him, becoming more serious.* "And you sent some invisible wave through the air...one strong enough to knock the wind out of me when I fell on the ground" *She said rubbing her back again. She looked at him curiously, wondering if he really didn't know or if he was just testing her* "You really don't remember it, do you?" She said eying him closely*
