Jack let Melian go and he ran after her.
Dom stood quite still. While some of the men where telling him he did well.
Melian ran untill he cougth up with her, "That was not faire." he said.

"Your right it wasn't; he should have given me more" she replied breathlessly the blood staining her shirt crimson, then gave him a sharp look as she ralised his meaning. She turned and looked him full in the face"I betrayed them to Rayes, I betrayed the crew, I broke the unwritten rule that says 'You don't betray your crew'. I chose the punishment not them, don't blame them for anything, if only not giveing me at least half a dozen; he was too kind." She said sharply before carrying on.

Melian hated the truth of it. He still thougth they should have left her alone, not caring how smart it all sounded. BUt he keept that to himselfe.
He keept following her, now wondering where she would go.

Shalem returned to the inn, ordering a flagon of the strongest drink they have she picked up her waistcoat and went into a back room. "Now here's part of your education Melain, wounds must always be cleaned, however minior, i'v seen men die from a dirty wound. Takeing off her shirt again she put a peice of leather in her mouth and poured the liquid down her back, her teeth clenched into the leather.
A few minits later she took it out of her mouth, her eyes watering and replaced her shirt and waistcoat so that the bloodstaines on the shirt didn't show. "And now we go outside like nothings happened. Its finished and i'm even now with the crew, but the captain can't know of it, so we act like nothings happened.

"I understand," he said before following her.
In the inn a messenger had arrived, asking for Charley.
Charley received a letter, with a confused look.
She read it and looked up even more confused.
"What is it, captain?" Rayes asked.
"Apparently I am the new ruler of Corsair," she said.

"Good, I know that you think it was unfair Melian, and it shows your a good person, but i broke the pirate code, and it was a just punishment." she said smileing at him with a hint of pride in her voice
"What?" Shalem sat down next to her, havein had caught the last words of the sentence. "You? Ruler?" she stared for a few moments "Sorry Cap'n...but how?" she asked in disbelief

"Well," Charley said, still sounding confused. "Hirilmor is gone, and well, she must have known my father, given him the title. But he is dead of course. And well, I only meet her ones but, em, I." she lost track a moment and fell silent, collecting her thoughts and remembering that her crew where looking at her. "The land is now mine," she said.
Rayes looked at her like he saw her for the first time. Now she was a queen?
Jack looked at her in plain disbelief, "Sure this ain't a joke?"
"Yes Jack I am sure," she said a bit sharply.

Shalem bit down a grin and knelt before Charley "I pledge my aligance Your Grace" she said with a perfectly staright face, before jumping on a table with her flagon of water and yelling "Three Cheers for Her Magisty Queen Charley"

They cheered with grins on there faces.
Charley did nothing but laugh. When she stoped, she smiled and said: "Well thank you."
The sound of anyone saying Queen Charley was wierd. Queen, she. Well, it must be it. Queen Charlotte, she thougth. No, she would stick to Charley.
"That must make uss the most powerful pirateship in middle earth," she said lifting her mug with rum, drinking.

"Aye, true ruler's off the seas" Shalem replied jumping down from the table. "So your magisty, is it back to Umbar to good rum and celebrations; and of course whatever it is you'll be doing in the Castle, or inland to Gold and Wealth?" she asked getting down to buissness.

Charley thougth for a moment, then she looked up and smiled, "Umbar I think, then a walk for more gold!" she said with a grin.

Shalem looked surprised, then lent in kepping her voice low so that the rest of the inn would not here. "But Cap'n" in her surprise she forgot her captains new title "What of the Mithril, it would be suicide to take such a thing back to Umbar. People are going to challenge your authority, people always do, and if word gets out of what you are carrying then there will be even more wanting you dead so that they may take it." she warned before sitting back.
"Why not send some that you trust inland to barter for a price, takeing only a little and leaveing the majority hidden safely, and yourself go and secure your kingdom?"

Charley looked at her with a smart look: "You do make a good point. But whom would I send?" she asked, more to herself than to others.
"I will go, capt'n," Rayes said at ones. "Let me pick out a part of the crew, and get you a good price."
She looked at him whit little surprise in her eyes. "No. Maybe you will go, but I chose whom goes with you."
Rayes looked a bit disappointed by this, and he did not like the fact that she was listening to Shalems advise.

Shalem smirked at him slyly, pleased that at least she was listening to her and not him. "Pick those you can trust highness, but do not send the majority, for you may need them to fight for you in Umbar." she cautioned.

Charley took Shlems advise gladly. Shalem was someone she trusted. She saw how much this bothered Rayes but that was his problem.
"Maybe," she said, "I need some time to think about it." she was silent a moment then said, "I am going to take a walk I think, alone. Meet at the ship in one hour." the last part she said loud so that all her crew members could hear it.
There was some "yes, my queen," and "yes, my lady."
She smiled at them, "and to you all, I am still captain." she said.
Then she stood up and walked out of the inn.
