She gave a satified smile. There were no bigshots then, this was a good crew. "Why?" she asked all inncocence "Is Rayes not liked amounst this fine crew?" She took another swig of rum. This was a risk she knew, but an enjoyable one.

He looked at her for a moment, like to see if he could trust her. "Right," he said and sat down next to her.
Many of the crew now lost innterest in the conversation and got back to there own buissnis, but someone stayed to lissen.
"Well, I can say somethings aye." he said, "I know he was been here a loong time. Longer then the captain. He does anything Charley tells him to. Like a trained dog." he said whit a smal grin. "He shouts most of the time. And got bad temper. Be ware of it." he was quiet thinking a moment. "and well, dont disobey him.. he is not very forgiving."

"I am not sure," he said thinking, "This migth be the rom talking, but I think you are going to have to fight him. The only woman he has ever aproved at sea is Charley, and that because he did not have any choise."

"Really?" she asked with a slightly shocked and worried frown. "I don't want to, i never liked that, to much like mutiny for my taste...i'l just have to try and prove myself." She tough for a moment. "The real problem is, i wouldn't be able to use my powers, in anger i might destroy the ship...so i'd have to use normal skils, and be at a disadvantage." She shook her head and finshed her flask, already feeling it take affect.

The man looked a little scared at her for a moment, then he got back to his scenses. "Prove you are the best, and dont mess things up and he wont have anything on you." he said, "And figthing rayes would by the way get Charley mad." he added.
He drank some more.

"Shalem, luck in my peoples toung." She laughed mockingly at all the luck a woman would bring to the ship and stood up. "I'd better get some rest before i do myself some damge with this." She put the flagon down and headed back towards her cabin.
