She gave him one parting smile and closed the door. There was no point getting drunk just yet. No, she needed to keep her wits about her till she was sure she was safe, and the conversation had only confimed her suspision that she wasn't. Locking the door, she got into her bunk and fell asleep, holding a dirk loosely in one hand.

In the morning there was a hard knok on her door. "Get up girl, now!" a mans voise shouted.

"Al'right." she shouted back, curseing herself for not getting up two hours before dawn as she ussually did. She guessed it was the Rum and swiftly dressed, replaceing about half her weopans. She arrived on deck and looked around for either Charly or Rayes, or at least someone to give her an order. She disliked not haveing something to do.

Charley came walking up to her, smiling by the sigth. "Good morning! Late last nigth?" she asked whit a grin. "Well, I hope we will leave today. But I need more food before we leave. So I got a job for you: Go get this at the market. I am sending Rayes whit you, he knows what I need. Is that an understood order?" she said.

"Sure thing Cap'n" she said with a cheery grin, happy to be able to say goodbye to the land properly, even if it was going to be with Rayes. She saw him appoching and nodded respectfully, hopeing that there wouldn't be a confontation.

Rayes gave her an irriated look, like he rather wonted to be doing this alone, but said nothing about it.
"Let uss go then," he said.
"Be back as soon as possible," Charley said.
"Aye," Rayes said and walked of the ship.

Shalem put down her load scowling at Rayes back, the boy tugged at her sleeve. "Yes...oh yeah." she flicked him a small coin from her own purse, acconpanied by a wink "Now skit." with a grin and a nod he lept back to the keyside and melted into the crowd. "Well Cap'n here's you're meat."

Charley came down to them, "good," she said whit a smal grin.
"We will leave soon. You can do what you wish untill we leave Shalem," she said, "Rayes come whit me." she said. then the two of them left her. Melian came short after to get the meet. "Hey!" he said.
