The next morning Charley woke up by a knock on her door, "Captain, we will be a shore in about an hour." The voice sounded far away but she recognised that it belonged to Rayes.
"Then have my crew on deck in a half hour." she shouted back. Then Rayes left to do what she said.
She slowly got out of bed, her head was spinning, but she could handle it. After getting dressed she drank some water hoping that it would help. Then she got herself out on deck and went up the where the wheel was, that way she was standing higher than the crew.
She watched as the crew come up on deck, but it was not half of them yet. She could see that some of them had gotten quite harshly beaten in last nights fight. But she did her best to ignore it.
Charley knew that Rayes where dragging crew-members out of there beds at the moment, but that was the way it had to be. It was in situations like the night before and now that she really needed Rayes.
Melian had decided that the first thing he was going to do that morning was to make sure that Shalem got out of bed, before Rayes got to her.
So when morning came and people where waking up, he ran down to Shalems room and knocked hard on the door, "Wake up, Shalem. You really don't won't to wait for Rayes to get here!" he shouted.

"Hush lad" a hand was laid on his shoulder. "I'v been up for the last hour or so. It was good of you though. Lets get on deck." she smiled at him

Melian was startled by the hand on his shoulder, but he was glad to see that it was Shalem. He smiled, before he followed her up on deck. There the last people had been dragged up and were now looking up at Charley.
"Thank you all for coming up here," she said with clear sarcasm in her voice, "I thought we should share the treasure before we arrive in belfas. It is done as it always is. After rank," she paused as to see if anyone had anything to say about it,"well age and what you do on this ship," she then added. "Well, now you may go down a deck and get your share, Rayes got some kind of system." people started moving, when she added: "And don't fight or make trouble of any kind now. I know you are all pirates, but please act a bit civilized. Or I don't know what I'll do." she said before walking away herself.
The crew went downstairs. There Rayes stood with a list in his hands, on the floor there where many piles of small bags with gold inside. The crew behaved, after Charley's warning. And made a line and got there bag's in turn.
Rayes were very fond of systems, so seeing that all this went as he had planed it, made him quite glad.

Shalem got her's and Melain's share, then dragged him over to a courner, emptying both bags upside down on the floor. She then procceded to divided both thier amounts evenly between them. She had had more gold than Melian, now however they were equel.

He looked at her with big eyes, "No, Shalem, that is your gold!" he said while shaking his head.

"Your my apprentice, that means we split everything 50/50." she answered enexorably. She stood up with her bag of gold "Now you can leave the rest of that on the deck for anyone, or you can put it in your bag." she grinned and went to her cabin to stow her own away.

Quite overwhelmed with her kindness, he took the gold and muttered," thank you."
Melian was not used to people being nice to him. Becoming Shalem's apprentice was one of the very best things that had ever happened to him. He smiled, then started to think of some place to hide away his gold.
They would soon be arriving in belfas. Charley got ready then she walked out on deck. She could see land now.
She turned and saw the crew walking around getting ready to go ashore. Some of them where still quite sick from the night before, but others seemed to be getting quite exited.
She then started to think of Shalem, she hoped she would find this healer and get well.

Shalem came out on deck, smileing sweetly at rayes as she went, safe in the knowledge that she'd foiled his system. She walked over to Charley and nodded respectfully. "Goodmoring Cap'n feeling better today?" she hurried on quickly "Requesting permission to leave the main party when we reach shore and to go and find my kin marm"

Charley gave her an annoyed look when she asked the first question. At the second she said, "You have my permission."

The wave returned to belalfas, now carrying a queen.
This was a new start for Charley.
