Shalem decided that she wouldn't tell Charley that she was another one who belived, best not to be thought a fool straight away. "Then you did well to be rid of them, my men were bribed by gold and women from the Queens court. If i ever meet this Queen i swore that i would avenge my ship."
(well i as i don't control you're men i can't make them commit mutiny.....you control them...)

"Right, " CHarley said and looked out the window. "Follow me."
She walked out of the cabin, along the deck. It was quiet now not, the only ones on the deck was two who stood guard. Then they went under the deck. There were menn sleeping in a big room. They went one more deck down, this place looked like a sorige whit piles of suff liyng there. But there was a door there. Charley opened it. It lead to a small rome whit a table and a bed. It was a lamp on the table.
Charley gave her a key "Just in case," she said, "Good night." Then she walked out of the room and left Shalem alone.

"Thankyou." Once Charly had gone Shalem began to take off her weapons, and there were more than one would expect from a traveling woman. First her twin dirks, next an asortment of small daggers, knives, long sharp pins from her hair, a small pouch of poisons and finally a parchemt full of extinct words.

Shalem by this point was only wearing her undertunic, but forgetting she was not on her own ship for a second, it was just like old times, the creak of the wood, the slap of the sea aginst the hull, she opened the door. "Aye, what do you want?"

"Oh drat" she sworeunder her breath, pulled a cloak round her and dashed out after him grabbing his ear. "Look kid tell me what you wanted and stop stuttering, i don't like people who stutter, now" she realesed his ear.

He stared figthened at her for a moment, rubbing his ear, then said: "I just wonted to see it it was true," he said looking on his feet, "the men said thet there was a new woman in the crew. So, ..eee..., welcome mam." he tried to smile.

She gave a smile rarely seen by crew members, "Thankyou lad." Her eyes became dangerouse once more, "And what else do the men say hey?"
