He now smiled, "Thank you," he said provdly. "Thinking is good I belive, but it don't do me much good here, it mostly distract me from working." he made a grimace, "I have heard that rich children use all of there days just learning and thinking. Wonder how that is like."

Dom and Jack's dance now ended in a fall upon one of the musicans. The fall made an awful sound. "Sorry," Jack said after getting on his feet. The mucian was not vedry happy, he gave the two of then a dangerus look, "See where you are dancing! Not that hard." Jack helping Dom up awnsered: "Sometimes."

Melian got a little suprised by the question, hesetating, "I don't know. I guess I did not have a choise. I needed work desperatly and nobody, well that follows the law, would hire me for anything. Streetboys are not very popular." he thougth a moment, "And well, I did always wont to travle."

"I don't mind," he smiled, "I am glad. Mostly because you are so nice to me. If you ever become really evil, I will mind. But that will prbably never happen. And what is silver and gold really? Never had much, so I don't miss it." He liked the thougth that Shale even wonted him as an apprentice.

Jack and the musician had now started to argue, and had now there hans on there swords.
"Look," Melian said pointing towords them, "Evil!"
Charley saw the two of then argue. So when the musican hit Jack whit his fist. She was ready. She got up, shouting to Dom that he was to get them of eatch other. But he was to drunk to do anything. So she ran over to them herselfe. taking a grip of the musician she shouted,"Shalem! Get Jack away from him will you!"

Shalem nodded and pulled Jack backwards. She struggled with him for a moment, then fell, he landing on his back on top of her. Quick as a snake a dagger was at his neck. "Jack, relax for gods sake" she hissed in his ear.

He tried his best to get away from her grip untill he feelt the blade against his neck.
"All right, all right," he said relaxing. "Now, pleace take that way from my neck. Pleace!"
Charley had comed down the other guy.

Shalem felt him relax and roughly pushed him off her, standing over him "Pull yourself together" she did not sheath her dagger.

"Hey, careful! And he started." Jack said getting to his feet as good as he could. Blood pouring out of his nose.
"I think this party is over," Charley said. "I know for a fact that all of the people here have to work earley tomorrw. Would you pleace help him down to the crew's cabin Shalem?" she asked.

"Sure thing Cap'n" she pulled her head scarf off and thrust it at him. "Use this" then put her arm around his back she helped him towards the cabins.
"See you at dawn Melain" she called back over her shoulder. As she deposited Jack on his hamock with the injuncture to "now just go to sleep" she passed Rayes but didn't notice him.
