She blushed when he thanked her then looked up at him again, her eyes glowing with awe and love "You were really good" then she looked down, afaid she had said too much and hurreried off. A hand was clapped down on Melain shoulder and a voice boomed from above him. "Well done young'un, that was some nice work out there, good moves." Hudsen roared.

Melian didn't quite understand why she was acting like this, he assumed she was just shy.
"Thank you, sir," Melian said smiling.

"When the witch has done her work she'll be proud to know you fought so well. That was as good a fighting as i could wish from any of my sons." Hudsen smiled well pleased with him.

"Thank you sir," Melian repeated. He kept smiling. He really hoped that Shalem would be proud, at least a bit. It was quite the compliment he had gotten from the captain.

[glow=black,2,300]Another shove in the back, urging the djinn to keep going. He didn't fight against, seeing as the man was at least twice his size. Genies weren't very large beings, the males barely standing at five feet, the females even shorter. Of course, that didn't mean Ah'mal couldn't escape this man if he so wanted. Doing so would have been easy. But then he would have to leave the ship, something which he didn't want to do. So he figured following this man to the Captain would be better, hopefully he would be allowed to stay onboard. He looked over at a woman he'd seen board the ship the same time he did. There was something special about her. But he wasn't able to think on it more until the man shoved him in the back again for not moving fast enough. If this man had known what Ah'mal was, he certainly would have been more careful. But he didn't, as Ah'mal had hidden his true appearance behind an illusion. For everyone else he looked like a human male, probably somewhere in his late teens. Ah'mal was shoved down to the mess, where most of the crew seemed to be collected, getting themselves drunk. Foolish humans. The man who had found him spoke. "Cap'n, I found this one hidin' on the deck, I think he sneaked onboard."[/glow]
((Sorry for the long post.))

Hudsen turned from Melain and frowed at the young man before him. "Release him" the gypsies complied and let go of Ah'mel, but kept a close distance. "Your not one of the Pirates, nor one of us. Who are you and why did you stowe onto my ship." Hudsen towered over the djinn, his voice cold and low, instead of its usual laughing tones.

[glow=black,2,300]"Please, show mercy. My family is starvin', an' I'm their only hope. I need t'get to Gondor to find employment. I was hopin' this ship could take me there, but I wasn' sure y'd let me come with you, so I sneaked onboard instead. I'm really sorry, please don' send me off the ship. I can do whatever work y'want t'repay you, just please let me stay, sir." he lied, trying to gain the Captain's sympathy. Ah'mal found human compassion disgusting. Djinns never cared much for one another. But right now he needed to get this human's trust. He needed to reach to Gondor, even if it meant having to follow the orders of these dirty humans.[/glow]

Hudsen nodded slowly; it was an all too commen story in this part of thw world. "If you work for your passage i see no reason why you shouldn't." He agreed "The pirates paid in gold" someon shouted from the back "The pirates have gold and the pirates have magic. This lad has nothing but himself, why should we turn him away when he comes to us for help hai?" No one said anything. "Welcome to the Otter then....what did you say your name was boy?" Hudsen asked kindly.

[glow=black,2,300]"Thank you. My name is Nylyan." Ah'mal found it best not to reveal his real name. He would leave this people the moment they reached land. "What d'you want me t'do?" he asked.[/glow]

"Enjoy yourslef for the moment Nylyan" Hudsen smiled then turned to Tony, "Go get the Pirate-leader...Rayes or something, and don't disturb Shalem. If i know witches they need to concentrate." Tony nodded his head quickly and left, limping slightly from where he'd fallen. "Tsu, feach this young man a drink" she nodded and handed Ah'mel a flagon, she paused and stared at him in fear then ran over to Hudsen and hid her face in his coat. "I don't like him. He scares me" came a muffled voice Hudsen looked at Ah'mel oddly; then quickly covered it with an apoligetic smile. "I'm sorry, the lassie got a bit of witch blood, reacts strangly to the normailst things." He lauged sweepng her into his arms and turning away. "Shhh, its alright, i'l speak to Shalem when she's done. I promise"
-----------------
There was a slight tap on Rayes door. "Hey Rayes, the Cap'n wants you in the mess" called out Tony before running off. Keen to get back to the festivities.

[glow=black,2,300]"Witch?" Ah'mal asked. He had sensed there was something special about her, but he hadn't expected anything like that. The genie looked over at the young girl, letting his eyes flash red and gave her an evil smirk. Although, he still kept up the illusion for the rest, so only she could see it. "Don' worry. I don' mind." he said, smiling. Ah'mal just loved scaring people.[/glow]

Tsumalia moned in fear and wriggled out of Hudsen's grasp, she ran to Melain and hid behind him, peeping out occasionaly. "Yes" replied Hudsen, obviousely proud of haveing her on board. "A Wheather worker, or a witch as we call them. She was the best on land, but had a spot of trouble at sea i belive with some spirts. But she's also got a basic grasp of other magics as well...i think." he paused an thought, unsure of how deep her powers went. "Any young Melain here is her apprentice."

Melian was with Tsumalia, something did not feel right. But he gave a bow when he was introduced.
Rayes heard the knock and found it very annoying that the messenger had already left when he opened the door. Still, he stepped out of the room, and left for the mess. He arrived, and saw the captain talking to a man. He walked over to them and said, "You wished to see me?" He completely ignored Melian.

"Yes, its traditional for guests, to enjoy themselvs on this barge, and we've not seen anything of you. So get yourself some ale and sit yorself down." he survayed the room. "Where are the twins?" he asked "With those two pirates" someone called out and there was laoud laughter. "Well we miss thier company so someone go and get those four will ya?" he laughed, and a boy was sent to feach Jack and Dom also.
