A long river ran across in front of her. It's depths as black as night and smell of wood and fresh water surrounded her. Aragumae was entranced by the Enchanted River that lay before her. Not only had she found this most intresting river, but this meant she was also close to Mirkwood. Or so she hoped. She stood there for a while listening to the water run dreamily along, "It's so peaceful" she thought to herself. Utter quiet, it made her at peace and calm, until she thought she heard something or someone behind her.

"Daro." A soft voice called coldly, using the Elven word for 'halt'. The branches of a tree rustled close by the elfmaid. Gray eyes watched her, narrowed to slits as they studied Aragumae intently, wondering if she was a friend or a foe. Unbenknowst to her, the figure in the trees had unslung his bow, nocked an arrow, and was now waiting for words that would tell him whether to fire and slay the warrior, or lower his weapons and spare her.

"I know you are there, I can hear you." Aragumae answered as she dropped her bow and arrows down onto the ground. "I'm not going to move, trust me. I just am simply on my way to visit Mirkwood." Aragumae realized that she better do as asked they had the advantage of being behind her, and she did not want to risk moving in case they had a weapon pulled. At this point she listened intently hopefully they would know she was not a threat.

"How do we know you are not lying, elfmaid?" The voice asked silkily. Although there was only one person in the trees, he thought he had best not reveal that, in case he had to fight her. And bluffing was really quite a useful skill to have. So, he used, 'we', instead of 'I'. He was still not certain whether she was a threat or not, although she was acting peacefully enough. Still, it was best not to take any chances. Although the war was over, the evil things seem to be multiplying in numbers again. Eryn Lasgalen still wasn't safe...

"You don't" She replied. " I guess you'll just have to trust me. I'll sit down if it helps, test me if you wish sir, I will not move." She smiled, "I have no intentions of fighting you if that is what you are inquiering."

Gray eyes narrowed as the figure pondered on her offer. He diced to trust her. After all, he should be more than capable of taking her on, and he would not be surprised if there were other Elves in the area, who would come as soon as he sounded the alarm. Without a further word, he scrambled swiftly from his perch, and stopped, just out of sword range.

Siranna was walking and noticed Mithfalas with a women. "Flirting with the girls again I see!" She called out walking up to the two smiling. "So tell me old friend, what are you up to now?" She asked him curiously.

((Oh no, it's completely fine.))
Mithfalas simply nodded in response to Aragumae's comment. He opened his mouth, about to ask the elfmaid several questions, when he spotted Siranna. Flushing slightly at his queen's playful remark, he was uncertain as to how to respond. Simply shrug it off and say that he was guarding the river, as was his duty? Mithfalas had never been good at expressing himself.

Siranna looked to him, "You seem slightly distressed my lord," she observed.

((yay! someone else! now this is gonna be a blast!))
Aragumae turned around to see the queen herself walking toward them. With a slight blush of embaressment Aragumae went down on her knee and bowed to the lady of whom she had the upmost respect for.

Aragumae did as she was told, she stood quietly thinking to herself about how the rumors were true. She was kind and did smile alot. Aragumae felt a sigh of relief, maybe she would finally beable to explain herself without being threatend. She listened intently seeing what the soldier might say.

"Guarding the river, as is my duty." Mithfalas finally replied, deciding that this was the best reply possible, in this circumstance. Still, he hoped that Siranna will not hold it against him for stopping Aragumae.

"And you seem to be doing a fine job," she smiled,p lacing a hand on his shoulder and then she turned to face the elf girl. "And who might you be?" She asked with a slightly stern tone. She did not want to scare the child but she was very protective of her home.. "Where does thee hail from? And what is thy business in my wood?" She asked.
