"My Lady, I am Aragumae of Rivendell and I am here on buisness of asking the King to join his army as an archer." Aragumae looked at the queen, she knew the queen was protective, but she grew slightly nervous. This was the whole point of her travel, to join the Mirkwood warriors. This was her chance to make a first impression.

Mithfalas inclined his head slightly, accepting Siranna's praise, barely managing to keep a flush of pleasure from creeping over his cheeks. He was still rather young, by Elven standards, and was surprised and delighted to have his Queen's approval.
Still, he listened attentively to Aragumae's response, but did not join in, thinking it better to let Siranna handle this matter for now.

"Well Aragumae, I am sure there will be times when you could be helpful. Mithafalas, you're a captain, you got some room for Miss Aragume here?" She asked him curiously.

Mithfalas nodded. "Indeed." He replied. "We need more warriors to patrol the borders and guard Eryn Lasgalen, with all the Orcs that have been attacking recently." He sighed glumly, shaking his head.

Siranna nodded, "Good, well keep up the work my friend," she said placing her hand on his shoulder, "And should you need help, I will more than gladly assist, it has become quite a bore around here lately," she smirked then left the pair.

"Of course, my lady." Mithfalas replied, bowing courteously, even if Siranna had left the converstation. Mithfalas had always valued courtesy and manners highty, after all.

Mithfalas shrugged slightly, a frown creasing his handsome features. "Lady, I have learnt from bitter experience that trusting someone after having just met them lead more often than not to betrayal." He replied coolly, not looking at her when he spoke. The captain might still be rather young by elven standards, but he was ancient, if one counted his years by human standards. Elves are more or less immortal, but they knew grief, like all others.
Mithfalas knew too much grief.
