As Haroldir had become king by marrying Galadriel who had returned from the undying lands, they had ruled together in peace and harmony. Eregion was their new home, a place who long had been in ruin, but had got rebuilt by help from many. With the kingdom on high ground, everything went well until one day the people began to revolt. The reason why, was cause an dark elf named Darius had started a group of elves that hungered for power. They wanted it to be theirs, to be ruled by them and their rules, without Galadriel and Haroldir on the throne.
Suddenly in surprise they attacked the palace at night, killing every guard and every person they could find. As they reached the royal bed chambers, they found Haroldir and his child sleeping. Galadriel somehow was gone, out in the wild without knowing what happened.
As Darius and his people entered the bed chambers, they quickly went to grab Haroldir and his daughter. With them both awake, they made Haroldir watch as they raped her. Shortly after, Darius came over to Haroldir, seeing he was in pain and tears, suddenly stabbing him to the ground. The daughter screamed as it happened, but was taken away as everyone else left the room. She was to be slave, to do work for the new king Darius and his people.
The elves in the city who was asleep during it all, was shocked to hear what happened as they all got up. A new king had risen and the royal family was gone, however no one knew what happened to Galadriel, she had again disappeared. With them all knowing their kingdom had changed, a huge civil war began between the loyal elves and those that had taken over.
