Ellroher had visited the throne Room of Medusald and Eomer had not been able to speak with him. Eomer was rather distraught that he was unable to speak with him and thus decided to take a trip out to Dunharrow to see what exactly Ellroher had needed upon his visit. Eomer and a calvary unit of sixty men rode to the gates of the city in which Ellroher had elected as the capital of his providence. Eomer called forth to the gate guard and he was allowed passage into the city. In a few minutes Eomer had been shown the Throne Room and he stepped inside and waited for Ellroher's presence.

Ellroher had been out tending to his horses when he heard that Eomer was awaiting him in the throne room. Ellroher ran to his golden hall and warmly greated the King of Rohan. "My lord, It is wonderfull to see you. I am so glad you come. What do you think of Dunharrow? I have finaly compleated it. I am sorry that I was unable to wait for you at Edoras but one of my mares was giving birth and there were complications." Ellroher offered Eomer and his men drinks and bid him sit. "Now, the reason for my visit the other day, I wanted you to know that Dunharrow was compleated. But I will not be in Dunharrow, or Rohan for that matter, for a wile. I have recently married the Queen of Rivendell, and have much to do there. But if ever Rohan needs me, I will come with all haist." Ellroher set his empty mug down and then becaime serous. "Who was that messenger the other day? And what did he want?"

Eomer was glad to visit with one of the Lords of the Rohirrim. Many parts of Rohan had been split and divided so that other lords might rule those lands accordingly and report back to the King. This made much less work for Eomer to attend to and thus make his life a little less stressful. Eomer listened to Ellroher and nodded and smiled at his comment of his marriage to the Queen of Rivendell. " Well congrats lord Ellroher on your marriage. I do assume that this shall strengthen the ties that Rohan has with the Elves. A much needed boost in these times. " He said with a smile. " As for the messenger that was in my court upon your arrival. " He said as he took a seat at a small table that was in the hall. " She was merely a messenger from another land. " Eomer was not a man who devulged information before he was positive that he could trust the man or woman before him.

Ellroher raised an eyebrow and leaned back in his chair. "Just a messenger from another land? My lord, you insult me. Before I left your halls the day before I over heard you say that you would take 2000 riders as escort. I did not here to where you were going, but to take 2000 riders certanly sounds rather like your going to war." Ellroher leaned forward in his chair and looked into Eomer's eyes. "I served the first king of Rohan, Eorl the Young, my lord Eomer. I have countless times proven my loyalty to Rohan. Please, don't treat me like some landlord who's buisness is his land only. If you ride to danger, let me ride with you." Ellroher sat back in his seat and staired at the fire, remebering his younger days when he rode to war with Eorl the young.

Eomer nodded and smiled. He had meant no offense of course. He however was just naturally untrusting of anyone who was not his own blood and people. " I agree. Your loyalty was proven centuries before i was born. But, as you can imagine, a man must grow to trust another, no matter what the credentials are from before my time. " He said with a bow of his head in respect. " But alas, it seems that i shall need you in the end. The messenger was from Angmar, a realm that is rot deep with evil and turmoil. The messenger desired for the trespasses to be forgiven and thus trade routes opened between the two realms. I offered to come and inspect the lands with my soldiers as protection. For, as you can imagine, if i find it hard to trust an elf and warrior such as yourself, who has proven loyalty to my country, how must i trust a former enemy. " He said with the stroke of his chin. " Alas, i have ordered the assembly of 10,000 calvary to ride upon Angmar! " He said firmly. " If you have soldiers to spare then i shall be glad to use them. I do not seek battle, only to investigate a possible threat. " He said calmly as he figured there would be a not so accepting answer from the elf.

Ellroher laughed, but their was little joy in it. "You do not seek battle? My lord, with 10000 men, I'd think you'd seek conquest. If I recall our strenght rightly, that is half of Rohan's riders. That, my lord, almost askes for an attack on our own people." Ellroher stood and paced around the room, deep in thought. "Angmar." He muttered. "I do not like it. There is some a miss." Ellroher turned to Eomer and sighed. "I will ride with you, and 600 Riders of Dunharrow. But I ask that you leave 4000 Riders here." Ellroher smiled, he knew that sounded like madness. Leaving 4000 riders in exchange for 600. "The Riders of Dunharrow are the best in Rohan. I have trained them all myself. They are as good on foot as they are on horse. This way, we have more riders at home, in case we are attacked." Ellroher looked out the window gaising off towards the west. "Rivendell is not far from Angmar. If Angmar proves to have ill intentons, we can retreat there." He turned back to Eomer and bowed. "My men will be ready to ride by morning. Rooms will be prepared for you if you wish to stay here, but I have buisness to attend to."

Eomer listened and heard that Ellroher had asked the 4,000 be left to defeat the country. Eomer shook his head. " Na, i shall leave none here since i have still assembled another 2,000 to do just that and the rest of the army is on reserve so that they shall be no trouble in our lands. " He said as he stroked his chin thoughtfully. " But i shall appreciate your soldiers. However, no, i shall ride back to Rohan. Bring your soldiers there when ready and we shall ride out together. " He said as he rose from his chair and nodded to himself as he went over the plan once again in his head. " However, my goal is not to seek fighting unless we are fought. Then, if we are, we shall indeed respond. " He said with another nod.
