"Hm, well, I agree whit you. I don't regreet hitting him, but you migth think twise before doing it your selfe. My point!" he looked at her, "and if you kill him, you have The Captain to awnser to, that what I'd be worried about." he gave a smal grin.

He laughed, "Well, I would not stop you."
He was now finiched whit this caonnon and walked over to the next. "But I got to tell you that he has improved. He was much worse before Charley becane Captain. He does not have that much freedom to do what he wont anymore. I am glad." he said.
Then there was the sound of footsteps comming from the stairs, and down came Melian, "Oh, hallo," he said.
"Hey boy." Jack said.
Melian did not move hesetating.
"Anything you wonted?" Jack asked a little anoyd.
"Well," Melian said looking at his feet. "I was just em.. wondering if well."
"What?" Jack said even more anoyd.
"Can any of you teach me to sword fight?" he asked quicly.

Shalem looked up with surprise from her third cannon "What? Why? What are you planning?" she finished suspiciously

"Nothing!" he said looking frigthend. "I just think that I chould learn. I am a pirate, even if I am just a boy. I am so tierd of not beeing able to diffend my selfe. I always need someone to take care of me. I have been wonting to ask someone a while," he finiched looking down.

"Excelent." she gave a nasty smile "The first thing you must learn is patieance. You won't become perfect at first...just like these cannons won't shine at first." she handed him a rag "The quicker the're done the sooner i can teach you."

He looked at her for a moment before taking the rag, "All right." he saiD in a not too exited voise.
"And I thought I would have a hard job doing thin on my own," Jack said grinning.
Melian started to wash a cannon, "Is it hard to learn?" he then asked.

"Not really, its ahrd work, and you have to keep at it....and you've never really finished learning, there's always something new. But you'll be fine, i wager that even now if i gave you a sword and put you in a fight you'd kill a fair few before you got hurt."

"Thats part of it aye" she laughed. In a few minits she'd finished her cannon and moved onto the next, sure, a bit of magic was used but they were almost finished now and it did make it alot quicker.

"You sure work fast," Jack commented.
He finiched his cannon and started on a new one, after finiching that one he saw to his suprise that they where done. He smiled, "Thanks for helping me. This would have takend me all nigth to do on my own."
Melian was almost not able to stand still, "Em.. can we start now?" he asked whit an eager voise.

His face went stif, "I dont have any," he said, then he looked down, "I guess I did not think this througth.I have a dagger, but it is smal and.."
"You can borrow mine if you must!" Jack said trying to not sound to nice. Then he got up and drew his sword, then gave it to Melian.
Melian looked up at him whithuge eyes, "Thank you," he said gratefully.
