Lothíriel came around the corner, hearing a commotion and the clanging of swords. Immediately a scene of strange calmness hit her. There was blood and dead guards all over the green lawn, but there was now no noise. As her eyes travelled over the grim scene, she saw Arwen, a hand over her side and seemingly in pain, Arawyn, looking gravely injured, lying on the ground with her children, and then her father, Imrahil. His back was to her, and she could not see what had become of him, but he was not moving. She ran forward and touched her father by the shoulder. "Father?" she questioned, knowing now that she would never hear an answer. She fiercely brushed a tear away from her eye and quickly went over to Arawyn. She gently whispered some reassuring words to her brother's beloved and then looked up at Arwen. "What happened here?"

"He tried to kill them."She cried, holding her tiny children close, the pain turning to a slow numbness. "He tried to kill them..." She said, it was all she could say, still in shock.

Lothíriel stared numbly at Arawyn. Her father had tried to kill Arawyn's children? She reached out and gently stroked Arawyn's hair. "It will be fine." she assured both Arawyn and herself, hoping fervently that somebody had gone to fetch a healer.

Lothíriel smiled at the woman who should have been her sister. "Just relax, Arawyn." Lothíriel didn't take the children away from her, sensing that they were as much a comfort as she was to them.

"Saynir...he killed saynir, and Nan? Where is she?" She asked softly through her tears. "And El?"

Lothíriel didn't have the faintest idea who Saynir was, but hazarded a guess that he was one of the guards that her father had killed. "Yes, Arawyn, he's dead. Your mother is here, and my brother is locked away in Dol Amroth."

"You must relax," Lothíriel told Arawyn desperately as her shivering brought forth blood from her wound. "Moving will make it worse. Elphir will come as soon as he is released. You can count on it."

Soon some guards arrived. One picked up the fading Arawyn, and another picked up Arwen. Arawyn was then too weak to hold the children and a guard took them. "If you wish my lady, you may follow, I amd sure Lord Aragorn may want a word." He said, thinking she had been there all the while, and she was escorted to the healing halls with the Queen and princess.

_______________________ The children were about two months old as she walked out with Amarie and her son to play in the garden. She set down a blanket and pillows for the children to lay on as they played. She showed them the little crickets as they chirped and the sweet smelling lilacs that grew all around. The sun was glowing and seemed to make all of this surreal, and serene.

A door to the lfet of the gardens from the main tower, opened, and Lady Arwen moved through it. Dressed in a red rose gown, that hung loosly over her stomach and a silver head dress upon her head. She had sighted her daughter from the tower's window move into the Garden, and having nothing of further interest decided to join her daughter and grand children.
"Suliad Arawyn," she said sweetly as she came through the pathway in the garden. Allowing the sun to shine down through the pillars, and vibrate warmly upon the exposed skin, thegown did not cover.

Arawyn smiled and stood up hugging her mother. Even now she seemed but a child, which she was only being 17, but she was forced to grow up with the responsibility of taking care of the children, refusing to use the palace Nanny's. "What brings you here so early in the day Naneth? Why aren't you with Ada?" She asked curiously.

Arwen smiled,a dn embraced her daughter, "Your father is occupied with other business," she said warmly, "However I thought I might some time with you, if that is alright with you."
She looked down at Amarie who was chewing on a flower, and she smiled. Arawyn had done the same when she of similar age.

"Of course!" Arawyn smiled and picked up Amarie, taking the flower and though there were whines and cries, she calmed her daughter. "Hush Amarie, we mustn't eat the pretty flowers," She smiled and kissed her brow, calming her daughter.
