At first Haradwaith was ruled by two different family's. North Harad was ruled by Alexander and the south was ruled by a Rhodrian and his sister Kira. Over the years the two areas were always at war trying to steal more and more land from each other, fed up with this Rhodrian allied himself with Neurion; the lord of the fast growing Dunland. Neurion and Rhodrian brought war to the gates of North Harad, with no one left to turn to Alexander sold himself to the light realm. But by this time it was too late Neurion and Rhodrian had conquered North Harad and later joined the two lands to become Haradwaith ruled by Neurion with Rhodrian as his second in command.
Rhodrian then held an unsteady truce with the realms of light and they were freely allowed access to his lands. When he passed away Neurion left the alliance standing but took control of Haradwaith. Tho in Dunland he held a deep hatred for the realms of light and let none come to his homeland.
