"Deal" she cut her palm and held it out to him, the blood crakled with electricity. She looked at him calmly. "I'l do anything to protect my people."
Tony laughed before attacking again.

Melian blocked him again, and the fight went on.
Jack and Dom came out now, they had left the twins for a short while (promising with all there harts that they soon would be back). They saw that Melian and Tony where fighting and sat down on deck to watch them: "Good skills, boy" Jack shouted after a while.
This made Melian loose focus, and was hit by Tony and fell to the ground. He stood up a bit irritated and attacked Tony again.

Tony took a few steps back at the ferocity of Melain's attack and stumbled slightly on the uneven floor. Melain's stick him on the hand and he dropped his own and watched it spin away acrose the deck. "I think you just won" he looked at the younger boy with an approveing smile

"I'l tell you a secret" he gave a conspiratorial wink "You tired me out too lad. Your Captian must be glad to have you on board" he sat down on the bench that cicled the deck of the barge and patted the spot next to him. "So tell me about yourself Melain" he said passing him a flagon of water.

Melian took a sip from the flagon before giving a laugh.
"I am no one." he said. "Invisible until i do something stupid and make a fool of my self, then invisible again. I am greate at sweeping the deck tho," he added with a laugh. "I am Shalems apprenitce tho. That is something. That is why I am here."
"Your turn. Who are you?"

"Awww come on. Tell me about your parents, how you got picked to be on the ship, tell me EVERYTHING! Look Melain, you may not think it but here on the Otter your something special. Your the Weather-workers apprentice and your not a witch-child; whitch must mean there's something about you. And though i'm not the best here you just proved that your a good fighter plus the fact that you've been to sea." He looked at Melain for a oment and laughed. "Look i'l tell you some about me and then you tell me some about you yeah?"
He stood up and made a small mock-courtly bow. "I'm Zurantoni Pirea of the good ship Otter." He said with a small florish of his hat "Cousin to the fearsome Captian Hudson and at your service" He gave Melain a wink. "Brother and guardien of Tsumalia Pirea (who also seems to want to be at your service) and 1st (and only) Cabin boy abourd this good ship. You" he laughed again "May call me Toni. Now tell us about y'self"

He stood up and bowed for toni, "The name is Melian, thief and Pirate." he sat down. "From the start then'":
"For starters I don't know who my parents are and I have no family, that I know of anyway. I used to serve this family who had some gold. But I was caught stealing some things. Not anything big really, just some coins and silver. Anyway, they threw me out, and I lived on the street a little while. Then one day I meet the Captain, she had just taken over the ship. You see, the captain took over after her father died. She was looking for people for her crew. And after hearing my story she hired me. I think she liked the part about the stealing actually." he gave a small grin. "Then I was hired, it was hard work for me at first. I was not nearly used to so hard work, but I got the hang of it in time. Like I have told you before I am on the lowest rang existing on the ship, well, except for the rats perhaps. I am the youngest there. And then nothing other happened until Shalem came along. For some weird reason she was nice to me, and talked to me. She helped me a bit, and after a while she asked me if I would be her apprentice. And from there it has only gone up. Shalem is proud, strong and fair. The opposite of me. And she has the trust of the captain, witch few of the ship has. Now I follow Shalem wherever the captain lets me. I hope it is the start of something new." he sat still. "And well, that is about everything."

"Wow" Toni was looking at Melain with the upmost respect and amzement in his eyes. "You are sooooo lucky. And Charley just invited you onto her ship. Wow" he said again. "Do you think she'd want another cabin boy?" He then gave a small laugh. "But don't say Shalem is the opposite of you. Aye she's proud and strong. But you've got a good straghnth in your own arm and my little sis seems to think your fair enough." He gave Melain a freindly push on the arm. "But the Weather-worker was a River-rat Captain. She's probebly just as much a theif as you an though most of the time she may seem proud often its arrogance; becuase thats what you need if your gonna be the best." He grinned but then turned seriouse again. "But honestly, do you think Charley would want me as one of her Cabin boys? I'd love to go to sea."

Melian suddely smiled, "You say alot of wierd things. But, well, you could ask! I meen she might!" he loved the thougth of getting a friend at his own age on the ship. "But would you leave all this, your family?"

Toni stopped for a moment then. "Yeah....i would. I don't know what i'd do about Tsu....but i'd go to sea. I love the rivers, but if i'm gonna be a captian then i need to make my own way; the sea's a good as place as any." He gave a small grin. "and its not as if i wouldn't know anyone"
