“… Prison gates won't open up for me on these hands and knees I'm crawling… Oh, I reach for you… Well I'm terrified of these four walls, these iron bars can't hold my soul in… All I need is you…”*
It was a rainy morning when Syene woke up. She got up earlier than usual but she could find no rest in her heart and knew well that walking in the wild or even going for a ride, even when most of the inhabitants weren't awake… would do her much good. And so she stood up and put on a light yellow gown. She quickly combed her hair and merely placed a silver tiara on her forehead which softly fixed her long dark hair for she did not wish to do much with it that day. She then placed a silken velvet on her head fixed with the tiara. It would be vague and vain to explain all the things she did in order to attire herself, being a woman but also a Queen she always had to look her best.
She then lit a candle and made sure not to make noise as she silently left her room. She stepped slowly on the floor and looking form left to right she walked along the main hall, the great cold staircases and finally a back door which led to the stables. She then smiled and pet her silver stallion called Fireden. She gently put on the saddle and horse chair and fastened it not hurting her horse.
Finally she got on her horse and kicked on its sides so it would start a soft gallop that she soon increased but not too much. She rode along her kingdom for a while before her thirst for more time and to enjoy the morning came. She then decided to go and explore the boundaries of her Kingdom and perhaps delight herself with her own adventures. Which weren't always good but who cared?
Riding had always been a good habit for her to loose stress and at the same time do something energetic that could clear her mind and body from any sort of tension that could affect her decisions and relationships with her personal advisers and any other sort of King or person that wished to meet her for an advice. She liked such hobby as much as practicing arrow shooting but this morning something drove her into riding to the limit. Perhaps she tried to run away from her problems but it was nothing important, she was not leaving her lands so it wasn't fully running away...

As the morning came and the rain fell between the leaves of the forest, Eladan woke up within his hut. With a look of tiredness he went to get dressed, taking on a white silk shirt and brown leather pants. After that was done, he went to look out the window as a horse`s hooves could be heard. Quickly as he went to look, he saw the queen riding. Beautiful as she was told to look, she made him amazed. As from the window he watched, he fast went outside to get a better view. It was as if she had spelled him, like her mother often did with men that met her.
The closer Eladan came, the more interested he got. However as curious she made him, he had to yell out and ask."Greetings!, my lady. What brings you out here? If you dont mind me asking."He spoke kindly, bowing with a light nod as his eyes followed every moment she made. As that was spoken, he hope he had not offended her. He truly knew who she was as many times he had seen and heard about her, altough never had he been so close in her presence.

She laughed lightly as she managed to make her horse jump a somewhat tall bush which swiftly brought her to the very boundaries of Lórien herself. She looked around and the trees seemed much stronger there, it was curious and funny. But little did she know she was being watched though she suspected to being so…
"Greetings!, my lady. What brings you out here? If you don’t mind me asking."
Her horse suddenly stopped by the sound of a voice. She didn’t expect anyone to be this far, especially to live… this far. She turned to look from one side to the other until she realized there was someone nearby. When she spotted him she noticed it was a young and handsome man, he even reminded her of one of the last children of Feanor himself. For she was told some had a beautiful red hair, but mostly dark, like this elf.
She even wondered why he lived so far from civilization, from everyone else. She nodded to his greeting and merely stated, “I just thought I would ride along the morning to watch the sunrise, for it is always such a view but I didn’t expected anyone to be awake so early. May I know your name, astaldo?”
She fixed the sleeves of her dress while she pet her horse behind the ears, it was a feeling she loved so. She then looked back at Eladan as she smiled softly and the wind played with her long dark hair, the bit that could be seen for the rest seemed hidden behind her silken tiara. She then wondered if he would like to join her or merely walk, “do you have a horse?” She never minded riding with her people, despite how much her advisors wished for her to be with an escort day and night.

After Eledan spoke, he stopped and waited for the woman to react. As she turned to face him, he gentle smiled back in return. The way she looked at him made him calm and interested, for his eyes she seemed very beautiful. Every word she spoke seemed friendly and elegent, which made him feel even better in her presence. When she finished speaking, he nodded with a smile and spoke kindly in return."I am glad your enjoying the morning my queen, they are always nice at this time of the day. I myself just woke up by the rain that fell, which lead me to see you from my window."He said with a smile, slowly looking back at his hut which was seen in the treetops nearby."My name is Eladan and yes, I have a horse."Eledan turned speaking, looking with deep curiousity as he understood what she wanted.
With a few steps, he approuched as his eyes followed whatever Syene did upon her horse. Seeing her long dress sliding downt he sides of her great animal and friend, everything about her seemed amazing. Specialy as she was the lost daugther of Galadriel, whom many believed had dissapared until she finaly came back. Under her rule, the elves of Lorien lived. Close to the elves of Mirkwood, whom ruled was by Legolas father Thranduil. It was in these areas, few elves still lingered and Eledan was one of them. With a short look toward a small group of trees nearby, his horse suddenly appeared. It was a white stallion, strong and swift. Able to carry heavy widght and possible to jump high, a horse trained by elves which lived free among others in the great world of Middle Earth.

"I am glad your enjoying the morning my queen, they are always nice at this time of the day. I myself just woke up by the rain that fell, which lead me to see you from my window."
Syene smiled at him and then turned to look at the horizon, ‘so he was the one spying on me… men’ she thought as she did her best to sound pleased to know he also enjoyed that morning. She did not wish to be impolite, but she was quite used to men throwing their roses to her feet. She had not met one, yet, that could simply love what lied inside a woman rather than her beauty. For without this face and richness no man would desire her heart.
Eladan…That didn’t sound like a bad name at all, still she wondered why he lived so far away. She nodded to him still looking somewhere else but at him and then said, “if you wish you can accompany me for a ride, though I must be brief for they do not know I left the Castle so early to avoid an escort.” She fixed the reigns and then turned to look at him while she waited for him to get on his horse and be ready to ride.
His horse did seem like a wonderful creature, Syene only hoped it could keep up with hers. Obviously she would not ride too fast now for she would be accompanied and also they would be talking so they would easily tire if they tried talking while riding at full gallop. She moved her hair to the back and fixed her tiara and finally turned to look at Eladan she then asked as she started a gentle gallop, “why is it you live so far from civilization?”

As Syene spoke and wished him to accompany her, Eledan gladly accepted. With a look of kindness, he gentle moved over to his horse and mounted it. The elf knew that the queen had a swift horse, but hopefully his own would manage to follow. Slightly Eledan patted his horse head as he sat himself on top, however no saddles was needed as the horse always had been without it. "I live here, cause I was born here. This is the place my parents raised me, although now I live alone as they went across the sea to the undying land. I stayed behind, because I think the men of middle earth still need us." He answered with a smile, slowly moving closer to where she and her horse stood.
"Shall we leave?"He asked, wondering if Syene would like to continue her journey with him as follower. Eledan waited for a reply, but kept looking as he thought Syene was the most beautiful female elf he ever had seen. The way she was dressed and the way she acted, showed clearly she was one of the royals. As they stood close, the rain stopped and out of the skies came the sun. With warm and delight, it shinned on them through the leaves in the treetops. And the wind that came swift within the forest, made their hair and clothing blow. It was a nice moment, specially as it was in the presence of a queen.

"I live here, cause I was born here. This is the place my parents raised me, although now I live alone as they went across the sea to the undying land. I stayed behind, because I think the men of middle earth still need us."
She simply nodded to his words. It was true, the elves couldn't simply leave middle earth as they wished to. Not really... there was still something for them here. They still had something to do there and then, and couldn't simply leave when so much history had happened. Some elves were even older than pages could fill a historic book.
"Shall we leave?"
She nodded and then began to ride swiftly hopefully his stead would be at least capable of following hers. She was used to wild horses, for a reason it seemed as if they always got on well. Or at least it seemed that way. It couldn't simply change. She then smiled warmly while she rode, she enjoyed it so much. She then turned to look at Elladan making sure he was begind her. She always liked riding, it was like being free from it all... for one moment.
