Mordor, after the third age had fallen into ruin. Barad Dur had collapsed, the Towers of Teeth had collapsed as well as the Black Gate. In fact, Mordor was no longer able to be entered through that side anymore as the mountains and ground had collapsed. No army could go in or out. Everything had been destroyed and Nurn, the small back country, the true backbone of Mordor had come forth as a freed nation under the rule of their new dictator Canos. Minas Morgul was all that was left from the ruins of Mordor; which was the throne room of the new ruler.

So now the plains of Gorgoroth lay in ruins for those that wish to journey across them. The plains are barren and could kill anyone. So, travel across if you dare.
