She smiled to herself to see his irratation and walked out the room, pauseing in the doorway. "Oh a Rayes, once we're on the rivers, inland; your on my turf...sir" she smiled mockingly and fled through the door and into her cabin.

Rayes almost ran after Shalem to tell her what he thought of her "turf". But he thought it probably was not a good idea. The captain would not like it.
"Bloody woman," he muttered under his breath while starting to pack his things.
Melian heard the news about who was going, he ran to find Shalem. Charley had talked to Melian her self, telling him why he was going and what was expected of him.
Melian now knocked on Shalems door.

Shalem debated wheather to open the door; but then again if it was Rayes he wouldn't have bothered with knocking. She opened it "Melain, come in" she smiled "Has the Captain told you?"

"Aye," he said smling. "She told me I could go, but only because you wonted me to." He gave her a look that made it clear that he diddn't quite understand that part, "thank you."

He gave an unsure smile. He found it amusing of course, but annoying Rayes was like playing with fire.
There was an other knock on the door, but this time the person knocking just walked strait inn. "I am going then!" Jack said. "I have to serve under Rayes. It will be torture." he shouted, as much to himself as the people around him. "Good thing you are going tho," he looked at Shalem, "You might get some control, some, but not much I bet." Jack was feeling nothing but frustration.

"I'm sure your right, but at the same time; he doesn't know the rivers like i do, and if we hitch a ride with the gypsies then we're with my people." she smiled at them, looking foreward to annoying Rayes as much as possible. "Come on Jack, it'll be fun"

Jack sat down, putting his head in his hands, "Fun?!? Maybe you don't know Rayes like I do," he muttered, "you must know the rivers good tho."
Melian walked over to Jack and said, "won't be that bad."
Jack looked at the little boy that had much less experience than himself, try to comfort him. This made him smile a bit, "maybe."
He shock his head as to shake the moment of, and stood up, "I'll go pack my things," he said before walking out.
Melian looked after him, "I'd better go to. Thanks again!" Melian said before walking out of the door.

"We'll be with gypsies Jack, you'll love it!" she called after him grinning. "Okay, i'l see you later" she replied to Melian before collecting her things together.

The next day there was much going on with those who where going. Together there was 10 crewmembers going. They where packing and getting ready.
Rayes had beein following the captain all mornging talking about the trip.
Jack and Dom spent most of the morning trying to find out if they would have a chanse with the gypsie woman. They had found a part of the trip they most likely would enjoy.

Shalem came onto deck; her cloak wrapped around her, a small pouch hanging from her belt and every weopan she had come with hidden securely in place. On her back was slung a small bag containg a change of cloths and other assorted things. She had spent the morning on land, secureing contacts and trying to find out when the next 'tradeing party' aka gypsies would be travelling up river.

Rayes came up on deck ready to leave. He was carrying most of the mithril (the rest had been given to Jack to carry), so he had quite a big bag on his back. He had some weapons that where visible, but there was more of them, hidden. One thing that was visible was the whip hanging folded from his bag.
Charley walked on deck observing the slight caose. After a short amount of time, she called the ones that was going to her. When the ten of them where gathered she spoke. "Listen up, I have chosen you to do this quest for me. Rayes is your leader on this trip." people nodded, "and Shalem is your next leader. Be obedient to the two of them!" there was some mumbling, but Charley stopped it by giving them a killing look. "And I warn you: don't try anything. It will cost you much. Any questions?" No one said a word, "then I wish you a good trip, and I'll expect you will return with great treasure." she said with a smile.

Shalem had noted the whip with some apperhension, knowing full well who it would probebl be used on, but she pretended as if she hadn't. "Thankyou Captain, and may i wish your magisty all the success back home." She bowed slightly. Then looked to her small crew "Shall we then?" she asked gesturing to the land behind them.

Rayes also bowed for the captain, before saying, "lets" And walked past Shalem to land.
Melian smiled walking next to Shalem. This would be the first big thing he had ever been allowed to be inn on.
Jack gave a slight moan, but followed without objecting. Dom looked as though he was ready for a challenge there he walked next to Jack.

Shalem smiled happilly at Melain, looking foreward to the trip and in part to antagonising Rayes
