"And what do you suggest I should do without the kings permission?"Faramir asked couriously as he watched Mithrandir deep into the eyes while standing infront of him, the royal guards standing at the sides guarding the palace but they also kept an eye on whats going on. What was this news and what did the white wizard really want, what about this new evil..was it going to strike or was it just worries of something else.
"I am sure the king would agree, gather some troops, send words to the king and tell him that you will follow me into Mordor. Something is happning and we need to figure what, middle earth faith is at hand."He said seriously as he leaned against his white staff that he held in his right hand, watching Faramir and waited for his respond. The news was not good and something had to be done, hopefully he could help and they would discover the thruth together.
Eowyn entered the Throne Room of the Palace of Ithilien, and walked over to Faramir, who was sitting on his throne, and an old and wise looking man, clad in white. At last she recognized it was Gandalf, and she only heard the last few words they spoke, that something bad was going on in Middle Earth, in the East. She quickly kissed Faramir on his left cheek before turning to Gandalf and spoke "My lord Gandalf, I have heard rumors that you have returned, I am glad to see you here again. What news do you bring to us, what happens in the East?"
Faramir stood listning to Mithrandir/Gandalf as he spoke about the great importantcy of middle earth and the new darkness who was about to grow, he nodded and then turned to tell a servant to gather the ithilien camufladge group that exsist of 500 strong rangers and to speak with the king about the new mission that was given by the white wizard. The servant slightly nodded and then leaved to do as he was told, as Faramir watched the servant go away he could feel a kiss on his other cheek. He turned and saw it was his wife Eowyn standing beside him and so he listened to what she said before listning to Gandalfs respond, he was happy she came cause she always made him calm if he was stressed, worried or anything else.
"Ah Eowyn, how nice to meet you again."He said with a smile, watching her kindly and then took a pause before continue speaking. "I am afraid something have awaken in the east and some should discover it."Gandalf spoke seriously as he watched her gentle and though it was nice to see her and Faramir together, the war of the ring had led them together and now they both had a better life then ever before as they were together and in safty at the woods of ithilien were the elves latly had moved too.
Eowyn listened to what Gandalf told her, his words worried her. "And what do you believe has awoken in the East? With East, do you mean Mordor already or the lands that lie beyond?" she asked him, many questions arose in her mind now. She thought that as Gandalf came to speak with her husband Faramir, he would want him to discover that evil in the eastern lands, and that made her feel afraid. She didn`t want anything bad to happen to them, but her life with Faramir to stay just as perfect as it was right in these days. But she knew if he was needed Faramir would leave, and she would let him of course. And she felt again like in the days of the Great War of the Ring, wanting to help and fight for the people she loved. She sighed and looked from Faramir to Gandalf, wanting to learn more about this matter.
"Mordor of course, but I am not sure what has awoken, thats what we need to find out and i need your husband Faramirs help and maybe even yours. As I have heard you are good at handling evil creatures that lurk around and you also have slain once that cant be defeated by men."He said with a kind smile as he watched her gently, thinking she was a great woman and perfect for Faramir since he himself had much in common with her. They both wanted to help no matter what it would take and none of them would do anything to worry or distroy the safty of their people.
Eowyn nodded understandingly, thinking that of course Faramir and herself would help, as they lived closest to Mordor and had some experiance in fighting those evil creatures. "So you want to send us, Faramir, some soldiers and probably even me into Mordor to find out about what evil plans there? I believe Faramir agreed in setting out on this journey, when are we to set out then?" she asked while turning towards Faramir, she wondered what he was thinking about her going with him into battle. She herself wished to go, to fight again for her country and stay with Faramir.
Faramir just stood by and watched Mithrandir and his loved whife Eowyn speaking to each other, as she was suggested to come with them he got a bit shocked cause he didnt want her to follow though he knew she couldnt be stopped since she was strong willed as himself and so would do everything to help if needed. He just stood there listning and then as she turned looking at him, he looked back at her and waited for the white wizards respond before himself would.
"Exactly, as soon as possible we should start our journey. Evil never lies still, its always on the move and we have to be quick before its to late..." He said as he watched them with worried eyes and a kind face look, something was going on and their scout party would figure what it was if they succided on their journey. Gandalf would have his friends with him and a pare of troops to handle the situation if something would happend in the deep ruins of Mordor that now layed to the east. The war of the ring had distroyed much of Middle Earth and so also the main fortress of evil, Sauron the dark lord was dead but orcs and other creatures still lived. They were not exsterminated as many would believe, some were hidden and some was about to be awaken.
Eowyn nodded to him, she sighed and wished that it would be easier to have a safe and happy life without fighting evil. "So we leave as soon as possible then. That means... if I am to leave as well... Faramir?" she turned to her husband now, wanting to hear if he would let her go with him. She knew that he would want to know that she was safe in Ithilien, but if she stayed here in this palace and knew he was going into great peril, she would not have one second of piece until he would return, she dearly wished he would let her come as well, and now was looking at him pleadingly. She wanted to stay with him, she loved him.
As Eowyn spoke and turned looking at him couriously if he would allow her to come with them on this mission, he watched her with a thoughful look but then spoke after a small pause."Well I supose I cant keep you here if you want to come with us, so I believe i should allow you to come, even I dont like it."Faramir said worried as he looked deep into her eyes, wondering what she was thinking about the situation and then back at Mithrandir that watched them talking about what to do.
Eowyn smiled at Faramir`s respond, somehow she had known that he wouldn`t have let her stay behind, as he knows it would be against her will. Even now after the days of the War of the Ring, that she was happy and finally feeling loved by Faramir, she didn`t want to stay home, waiting for their journey to return with the news if her beloved husband has survived or not, neither did she want to stay home knitting and doing housework while Faramir probably just was fighting. She wouldn`t stand this situation. She gladly looked at Faramir, and anwered at last "Thank you, then I will come with you and your companions. I will stand by your side, Faramir, in good and in bad times." she told him, still smiling up to him. "Around when do you plan on leaving, and where exactly are we heading then?" she kept on asking, she still wanted to know more about this adventure they were going on.
Faramir looked down at Eowyn from where he was standing next to her since he was taller then she was and so saw she was happy by the words he gave her about she coming with him, he loved seeing her happy cause it always warmed his heart and her happyness was the must important thing for him but also their love to keep growing untill the end of their lives."I`m glad to hear that my love."He said with a smile and then kissed her forhead gently before looking at her again as she spoke more questions that she wondered about. Faramir turned and watched Gandalf for a moment, wondering if he was going to answer but decided to answer himself."Well since we are being told to leave as quick as possible, we should go now. We are heading for the ruins of Mordor, Mithrandir her believes a great new darkness has awoken and some have to check that out."He spoke worried and then looking at Mithrandir once more before turning, looking at his loved white Eowyn..the white princess of Ithilien.
Eowyn nodded to his words, she agreed that they should leave as soon as possible and get this task done to find out what new evil was bred in Mordor. "Aye, alright, then I believe we should make ready to leave now, gather the troup of soldiers that will accompany us and pack all that will be needed." she spoke to him, thinking about how it will feel to hold a sword in her hands again. The last time she had done so was to fight against the Witchking of Angmar, one of the Nazguls, and normally she tried to avoid thinking about this fight, it was too horrible. She turned back to her husband and said smiling "I believe there still are many things that need to be done before leaving, let us get on with this then, right, my love?"
