What are the rules regarding animal companions? I was thinking about finding a talking (and cheeky) falcon for my character's companion.
Is that ok?

Yup, Neurion is able to talk to wolves so i don't see why you can't have a cheeky falcon.

Yeah, Kayla and I have talking dragons, though Smaug did talk in the Hobbit.
