As Amir was riding on his horse he heard shouts and the clanging of what seemed to be swords and axes."I Wonder what that can be maybe i should check it out."And as Amir said that he headed to where he herd the sound coming from and then he saw it dwarfs and they where fighting the hobbits."Oh my good...."Before he could even finsh his sentence a dwarf jumped up and noced him off his horse. He scrambled to get up as he turned around he saw the dwarf charging at him swing his ax trying to get a hit on the small hobbit.Amir took out his sword and as soon as the dwarf was in range sliced of his arm.The dwarf was screaming in pain as blood came gushing out of where his arm once was.As the dwarf screamed Amir took his sword and lunged it into the dwarfs heart. The dwarf fell to the ground and with that Amir took his sword out of the dwarf and cleaned it.When he looked at his horse he saw it on the ground dead.Amir walked over to the poor animal. It was his only way out of here.Suddenly as Amir took a step back a ax was trown and just barly passed his face.As Amir turned he saw a dwarf holding another ax and getting ready to trow it at he.So Without being seen Amir quietly took out a trowing nighf."Now lets be calm people and talk about this why dont we"Swish as soon as Amir said that the dwarf threw his ax at him but a good thing for Amir is that the dwarf had bad aim."Ok you dont want to talk fine" Amir threw his nighf and killed the dwarf now Amir was officaly in the battl. He looked around to see if he could see anyone he saw before and there he was merry.Amir ran up to him and asked why are the dwarfs attaking.

Cirdan survayed the battle below as he and the army of Lindom prepared to join it. The army of Lindon was small but they were elves, the wisest and fairest of all beings,. To them numbers counted for nothing. Unfortunatly they were fighting dwarfs and dwarfs were renowned for there fighting skills so Cirdan had forced conscription upon the elves of Lindon swelling the ranks of his army by 1000 men.
The army of Lindon marched to aid the Hobbits and its numbers are as follows:
500 Lindon Horse Archers 250 Forlindon Warriors (Noldor) 250 Harlindon Warriors (Sindar) 100 Mithlond Sentries (Elite royal guard) 50 Sea Elves (Elite Teleri) 1000 Elven conscripts
Total: 2150 Warriors

The dwarves, by now had moved away the logs that had been laid down by the hobbits and slain many more that attempted to prevent them from doing so. The wagons began to move again as soon reach groups of hobbits and ran down handfuls of hobbits that stood in their way. The army of dwarves that were already in the battle continued to set ablaze the hobbit holes.
As for the Dwarven army it began to close in on the Shire as a few scouts returned to the main bulk with news of an elven army that was assembled and moving towards the Shire. At hearing this the dwarven captain halted the army. He planned to stay hidden away from the Shire to let the elves get there first and then come behind them and slaughter them. The slaughter in the Shire would force the elves to move in to aid the hobbits and not attack the main bulk, even if it was noticed.

They elves were ready for an attack and were about to charge when the messanger returned from Imardis. "My lord" he gasped to Cirdan "The people of Imardis shall soon join the fight with us." "Halt the troops!!" roared Cirdan when he heard the message. He knew that the Lindon army alone was weak but with trhe help of Imardis they would be able to drive the dwarves back no problem. He looked down at the battle below and tears welled up in his eye's. No matter how bad the massacre got they must wait for the other elves because united they would stand but divided they would fall.

As the elven army delayed the dwarves kept an eye upon them. Messages were sent back to the General of the army and he spoke to himself. They wait...why. Could more soldiers be on their way? Where from? Rivendell possibly. That would take a week at least. We shall have to wait and see. ' he finished saying to himself as the dwarf army stayed hidden in the shadow of the mountains and hills.
By now the Dwarves that were in the Shire had wrecked through most of it. Many dwarves had fallen by many more hobbits lay dead all over the once green grass of the Shire, which was now on fire or black from smoke and soot. The wagon riders continued to ride down groups of hobbits which stuck together and by now at least 60% of the hobbit homes were set ablaze and the habitants slain on the ground outside.

The wooden logs didn't seem to have the effect the hobbits have hoped for, the dwarves removed them after some of them have been slain by the logs, but still too less for the hobbits. But Samwise continued to order some of the hobbits to send dry hey balls down towards the troops of dwarves, and set those balls on fire by burning arrows. Also, they continued shooting burning arrows towards the dwarf army. The dwarves continued preparing for combat, but before they could come near the hobbits, fortune seemed to be on Samwise's side for the moment. The elves of Lindon arrived, many in number, but for some reason they delayed to fight with the dwarves yet, maybe they were waiting on another event to happen, Samwise could not tell, but he hoped that the other realms he had asked for help would answer his call as well. The wagon riders still were burning the houses of the hobbits, ravaging and burning, killing many of the hobbits. But still, there were enough of Samwise's troops left to stand against the intruders and to try and fight them back, with every only possible method, even if the elves decided to wait on.

Cirdan could stand no more. The hobbits were being massacred and the Elves of Imardis seemed delayed so with a heavy heart he gave the order to attack and the army of Lindon charged onto the battlefield.

The Dwarves that were assulting the Shire continued to slaughter the hobbits. A few scouts noticed the Elves beginning to move down from the hillside to assist the Hobbits. The dwarves formed up around 700 soldiers quickly and raised their shields so that fewer arrows would harm them. They then sat and awaited for the elven advance.
The Dwarven army of around 10,000 soldiers saw that the elves from Lindon had begun their assult up the Dwarves that were attacking the Shire. The general of the army held his men and still waited to see what would happen.

Cirdan over looked the battle as his elves advanced. One look at the stout dwarves told him that this was going to be no easy fight. After dispatching another messanger to Imardis he ordered his archers to begin a rain of arrows hoping to weaken the dwarven front lines before letting his infantry in.

(Sorry for the delay. Haldir was suppose to join us and I wanted to wait for him to post but since he has not been active in over a week, I had to go along without him. I'm very sorry, I didn’t plan for this to happen.)
Alatáriël had arrived with the Rivendell army following behind. Her eyes scanned the land around her. She shook her head still not able to understand why Dwarves would attack folk such as the Hobbits. The Rivendell army was a small one since their army count numbers were low but she brought whatever she could to help. She brought along 500 swordsman, another 500 were armed with spears and 200 archers. As they came upon the battlefield, it appeared as if the battle had already began. She raised an eyebrow wondering what went wrong. Of course, the Dwarves moved in to attack so quickly it had left the Elves of Lindon no choice but to attack for the sake of the Hobbits. At least, that was her guess. Or because she had been slightly delayed, which made guilt set in a little. "Lord Cirdan!" she called out as soon as she spotted the Elf. "I am terribly sorry for the delay. What on earth has happened here?"

(( Out of curiosity, how did you get to Cirdan. You both came from two different directions. ))
As more elves began to appear on the battlefield, the dwarves were force to move back. They formed up around Bag End, which is where they were at the time. They formed up in a shield wall and continued to fire arrows at anyone that was a dwarf while under the protection and shield cover of the large Dwarven shields.
The Dwarven army finally saw the last piece of the puzzle. The elves of Rivendell came storming onto the battle scene. As the Dwarven commander watched this he quickly ordered the charge. From behind the mountains the ground began to shake as the 10,000 dwarves charged towards the Shire. They would reach the battle in about half an hour.

Ellroher had also riden with Alatariel to defend the Shire. What he say filled him with sadness and rage. He had always respected Dwarves, even admired them for being stuborn yet resenable foke. He ignored these thoughts and focoused on the battle at hand.
Seeing that the Dwarves had formed and shield ring around a hill, Ellroher ordered the elves to stay out of archer range and only shoot when a hole appeared in their shields. He tured to Cirdan and Alatariel and said, "We seem to have a pause in the battle. Lets round up what Hobbits we can and move them away from the battle." Ellroher's horse suddenly pulled his ears back and began to paw the ground. The ground began to shake like the Rohirrum charges Ellroher once commanded. Looking towards the mountains, his heart sank and he cryed out. "The Dwarves are bringing renforcements! We must build somesort of baricade to use as cover or we'll be over run! Quick! Before they reach us!" Ellroher then turned to Alatariel and said, "I know you don't want to leave, but we must get the hobbits out of here. There is no way for us to deffend them and ourselfs against so many. And we will need more troops if we are forced to fight all 10,000 Dwarves, though even with every solder of Rivendell we woun't have enough to stop them." Ellroher took Alatariel's hand and whispered, "Don't worry, I woun't let anything bad happen to me."

Cirdan cursed under his breath as the dwarves again started to force the elves back. Then an idea struck him he turned to his fellow elves "I will send a messanger to Arnor, only a short way from here, but we must hold out untill they arrive." And then with the messanger dispatched Cirdans men stood firm and awaited aid.

The Dwarven army continued to approach the seen of battle, moving at an incredibly fast pace wanting to aid their brothers in war. They were only a half a mile away as the Elves began to discuss a plan on what to do.
There were around 1,800 Dwarves left of the original attack force and wagon force. Around 1,000 had been slain by the hobbits and now elves that appeared all around. They kept their shields high and deflected many arrows. Flames and dust rose all around The Shire as few homes remained untouched by the Dwarven hoard.
