Ellroher watched these events unfold in slience. Things were begining to get way out of hand. "Eomer," said Ellroher. "I think that it would be wise to avoid battle. As things stand now, we would win this fight, I have no doubts of that. But...." He paused and looked out towards the mountains. "We would lose too many good men. And, I feel that Angmar has some more surprises for us. Otherwise, he would not be so confident. He is not bluffing, that much I can tell. He knows of something we do not." Ellroher always seemed to be a voice of reason and patience. He did not desire a war, and thus that was obvious. Eomer turned to him and spoke that Khumal, who was still standing there could not hear. " If we do not destroy this now then we shall only loose more soldiers in the future due to the attacks of their land and reclaiming this soil. " He said as he turned back to face Khumal as he rested his hand on the end of a torch that was sticking out of the fire that he was next to. He whispered back to Ellroher. " But alas, i desire this from you. Take your errand, and leave this fight and move to the outmost brigade of soldiers to our left, the Second Brigade. Charge them forward and hopefully, in time you shall be able to bring them behind the forces of Angmar. " He said as he cast a stern look to Ellroher in a way of not asking him, but telling him to do so. (( OOC: Start another thread for that called the Second Brigade Ellroher and if they don't respond then just post that they run through.))

Canos stood beside Eomer and listened to the elf speak to him. He was close enough so that he could hear the command that Eomer gave him and Canos smirked. It was a wise thought. If his horsemen could get behind the enemy then they would be able to route them and very little blood would be spilled here. In all honestly, Canos liked to spill blood. He liked the fact that he could be the one to cause other’s pain and when he could, he would. If he was not in his cover then he would be killing at will. There was nothing he hated more than being in the presence of men. It was true that he was a man himself, or at least half of one; the other half of which he didn’t really know. He knew that he could fight this creature, this Khamul for a second time here and now. He had engaged Khamul only a few days earlier and their meeting had been interrupted by a different group of Rohirrim, but all governed by the same ruler. Canos felt a certain debt of gratitude towards the Rohirrim for helping him escape his predicament the last time. That was why he was here now. Of course he was here to press his advantage as an ally of the people’s of middle earth. Canos turned to Khamul to say one final thing to him. “You are a mist of your former self, not even the true master of your race. Go back into the shadows of your fortress and wait for us there; it will prolong your painful existence just a bit longer.” Canos scolded. He did not fear Khamul or the other ringwraiths. Without the power of the ring, they were weak.

Ellroher looked evenly back at the king. He felt as if the king mistrusted him. "Do not mistake my disire to avoid conflict as cowerdis." Ellroher turned and called to his men. "Riders of Dunharrow! Fall in!" Quickly and without question the Riders of Dunharrow formed lines around their captain. Then, with a wave of his hand, the riders followed Ellroher as he headed to take command of the second Brigade.

Khamûl turned, ignoring Canos, the arrogant and foolish man did not know what he was talking about and should have died in the mountains. Khamûl paused, facing away from Eomer, and spoke a final sentence, "You will not win this battle, your elf-friend is right. It would be best if you left now, but if you insist on killing your men needlessly, so be it." Khamûl finished, walking away from the Rohirrim camp and, once out of range he screeched, calling his dragon down from the skies. The dragon descended and Khamûl mounted it before it took off again, flying towards the location he had held prior to the pre-battle negotiations. Shortly after arriving, Khamûl gave a sinister screech, calling Ratha to prepare to battle the group of Rohirrim to the left of Eomer's men. Khamûl himself gave several orders, ordering the men into battle positions and waiting until the even the moon was covered by cloud before giving the signal to two men to begin his plans.
The men ran off and gave the message to the Dark Rangers and Wolf Riders, and these two groups instantly moved into position as a few orcs brought out the previously prepared wooden bridges. The orcs quickly and silently placed the bridges over the trenches, and first the Dark Rangers slipped across, then Wolf Riders padded stealthily over, followed closely by the two Black Wolf-mounted Nazgûl. The orcs picked the bridges back up as the soldiers made their way to their positions. Khamûl prepared himself for battle, checking that everything else was also prepared. Several men crowded, shivering slightly in fear, around Khamûl's dragon, preparing it for the battle. As the last soldier of Angmar moved into position, Khamûl listened to the silence, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
