She thought herself to be in love Aragorn when he came to Rohan, but it went unreturned. When Aragorn went on to the Paths of the Dead, she thought he was dead, and clothed herself in armor calling herself Derhelm. At the Battle of Pelenor Feilds she defeated the Witch King but was badly wounded. She met Faramir at the Houses of Healing and realized it was him she loved. They were married in 3020. She bore at least one son.
