Frar grew up, strong, fast, intelligent and cunning, like all those who had to use their wits and strength to survive. He made his life robbing travelers and pillaging villages with bands of his thieving friends thus is how his life was drastically changed. One day, as he was merely waiting for a traveler he spotted a cloaked man. The cloak was elven, and so was the man, or so it seemed. Frar, smiled to himself as he waited with his sword for the man to come in close. As soon as the elf did so Frar leapt from the tree and knocked the elf to the ground, the hood cast back and revealed that the elf was no elf man, but in fact an elf maiden, but not just an elf maiden but an elf sorceress as well. This made no difference to Frar as he brought his blade to the neck of the sorceress who, in turn, begged for her life and offered herself to Frar. Frar, had no mercy for he did not at the time desire such a gift and saw not how it would benefit him. Then the sorceress offered her gift to him… Thousands of years ago she had been granted with the gift to change forms, from elven to human, man to female, and a handful of others. Frar listened with great interested as he instantly began to formulate a plan in which this would aid him. He agreed to spare her life if she shared her gift with him, and she did, granting him the ability to turn into whatever creature that he desired. Frar, satisfied with what could now do turned his blade upon the sorceress and cast it into her chest. The elf cried out in agony and uttered words to which Frar could not understand. The she elf looked at him, gasping for breath before telling him that she had cursed him making him only to turn to the form of the elves enemy, a dwarf, and nothing else, and with the ability to know that he would live for 500 years and on the day of his 501 birthday he would suddenly die if he did not die from a sword before that! With these words she slipped away to her death. Frar was greatly angered by this but did not give up the chance to use this opportunity and began to formulate a plan in which he could use his new gift. He found himself wandering the mines of Moria many years afterwards and stumbling upon a handful of dwarves. They gave him refuge, for he took their form and they believed him to be of their long lost kin and this Frar became a Morian dwarf..
