Personality: Gorthog for the most part is a well mannered Uru Khai. He speaks the Human tongue better than maybe all of his kind. The Uru Khai, for the most part is reasonable and smart. He finds humor in sarcasm.
Detailed History: Gorthog's history begins with his father, an Uru Khai by the name of Gorv. Gorv served Saruman with undying loyalty. Gorv was perhaps Saruman's most intelligent Uru Khai. He was taught to be well mannered(A trait passed down to his son), the reasoning behind this was to become Saruman's diplomat. Gorv spoke with the Men of Dunland playing a rather important role in influencing them to aid Saruman.
In time Saruman, had a more important task for Gorv. He was to travel north to the Grey Mountains, and unite its savage Orc and Goblin tribes. From there he would wage war against the North, which would also aid Sauron's army from Dol Guldor. In return perhaps gaining Saruman more favor in the eyes of Sauron. Nobody knows if it did, but Gorv with his group of Uru Khai conquered the tribes.
Gorv raged war against the North, Focusing his attacks on the Iron Hills. As the third age came to the end, Gorv's project in the North was going wrong. He had his son, who was raised to be almost a replica of his father. But, Dol Guldor was conquered by the Elves of Mirkwood and Lorien, and ill news of Isengard being destroyed reached them. In one final futile, attack on the Dwarves of the Iron Hills, and the men of Dale Gorv fell in battle. Charging head first, with his warg riders into human infantry. In glory they spilled enemy blood, but it was a battle axe to the back that felled Gorv.
In the Grey Mountains immediately after the death of his father, The New Chief ten Gorthog was dethroned, by an Orc whom took advantage of the moment. The very young Gorthog, left with the second Generation of Uru Khai who were loyal to him. While stronger they were heavily outnumbered. Constantly, the impostor Orc sent raiding parties after them fearing they would return. Gorthog, still very young out witted and out fought the Goblin and Orc parties. Constantly moving around the Grey Mountains. After many years, Gorthog did return. He and his Uru Khai, marched into the Throne room meeting no resistance. Gorthog kicking open the doors, bull rushed the impostor orc. His guards stood in the way, hoping to hinder his advance. Their weapons bounced off Gorthog's armor. The impostor had all ready stood up grabbing his weapon, but it was too late. "I am ORC KING!!" He shouted swinging his broad sword beheading the Orc.
