Canos is prideful and he is one those people that does not let those who cross him live.
Detailed History: he slaves of Nurn had no immediate disposition towards the men of the West. After all, Gondor had set them free from the reign of orc and evil that had rested over the land. For a time they were happy and lived neared Nurnen; the great lake of their country where survival was easiest. A number of the slaves had ventured forth into the ruins of Mordor and made settlements throughout the land. However; some of the people there began to notice the close watch that Gondor and the Western countries kept on them, and they began to doubt just how free they were. Just like in any previous chapter of the world, one man stepped out of the crowd. Canos was once a slave of Mordor like any other, but he had the greatest will for power and the greatest determination for and dedication for the one he worshipped; Sauron. Sauron was dead and gone, never to be risen again; however, to Canos, for some reason beyond anyone’s comprehension was in awe of this being of evil. It was for this reason that Canos ventured into the northern most parts of Mordor; the ones that laid in ruin from the wars of the Third Age. It was here, in the ruins of Barad Dur where Canos found his power. It was in the ruins of Barad Dur that Canos retrieved the lost palantir from the ashes of the world.
For days Canos remained away from all of his kin and no one saw him or dared venture further to look for him. The story goes that he was consumed by "one" in the palantir. Canos had found a being, chained and imprisoned for all eternity looming in the palantir. It was in these days that the darkness of Mordor returned with a tide of hatred that only one being could have ever matched. Canos returned to a settlement on the outskirts of Nurn, one of the newest of the people; and the people worshipped him. Canos was more cunning and deceitful than any other could match, and more evilly seductive than any rival, past - or present. It was in that settlement that the rebirth of darkness into the land of Mordor began. Orcs were dug from the earth for the first time since the Third Age. While his army built, Canos ventured to the rest of Nurn to spread his poison and his treachery further. Canos mesmerized the people with his gift of light and fire and the country so followed this mysterious leader, as none recognized Canos; he had changed. Canos returned to his first settlement to find an army waiting, hidden from Gondor but an unseen aggressor.
It seemed that Canos, the leader of the freed slaves of Mordor, had but one more task to complete before he started his war. Canos knew that he could not begin a war with all of the Western world, and so he could not march on the one outpost of Gondor. He had to…request it from Gondor. With his cunning and his newfound skill, he was able to persuade the steward of Minas Morgul to forfeit the right of ownership. No sooner as the last Gondorian left the city did Canos announce it as his capitol. There, he found a darkness that he had not expected. It was a woman, who matched him in cunning and deviousness. She was Ravyn, and she became a lone ally and queen to Canos. So, the war against the world…. unknown to all but Canos; had begun.
Canos was enclosed in Mordor. Not only did the mountains hem him in, but also it seemed that the countries of Haradwaith and Rhun had made peace with the Reunited Kingdom. They still managed to fight each other, but as for Gondor and Rohan; they remained neutral. Canos had counted on their support, but it seemed that he would have to do things on his own. Only Khand remained hostile towards Gondor and the new kingdom, but they had been suppressed. There were few evil powers left in the world. It was as if all evil had been driven from the land. Khamul remained in Angmar, but was reclusive and weak for the time being. Besides, Canos could not access him because of the distance. Forodwaith remained unknown to everyone; there could be power there. Dunland had made a truce with the Reunited Kingdom. It seemed that all countries feared the new kingdom, and had knelt to their power. Canos and his queen, Ravyn, would have to fight hard to bring back the glory of the elder days.
