(If you don't like the wolf thing I could edit the post, just spend a pm. I've mentioned her at least once in all of my other threads . But yeah I can let you get back at me with one of your other characters .) Xhel stared at her, he didn't grin, nor did he frown. He held a mostly emotionless stare, this would not bode well for her. The elf held up his head proudly, unfortunately for Teara he was in control or at least believed to be. Out of the blue he let out a whistle of his own, one that would obviously result in his horse running to wards them. Nightshade could outrun any dog. Xhel shook his head. "To your dismay...." He took a quick leap back words, and drew his sword. The elf looking at Teara, pointed his sword at her. He blinked, there was a smirk on his face. " I choose neither of those options." The elf took an opposing step forward, lifting his arm up ready to strike. Xhel brought his sword down on the woman, his blade halted halfway from his target. The thief quickly leaped back once again, it was a fake attack."Oh... Did I forget to mention that neither I or my-" The elf was interrupted from Sasha, his wolf leaping onto Teara's shoulders. It was to be exact one hundred forty pounds of canine, no fat. Sasha was needless to say a big wolf. "Wolf fight by the rules." The large black canine had been nearby, she never strayed too far from her master. She would of been involved in the guard fight, but did not wish to attract the attention of the dogs. Xhel's whistle... had not only been for his horse, but it had been an order for Sasha to attack and run. Within seconds of hitting Teara Sasha was off to the races, her order had been to hit and run. Xhel hoped, She would of knock the woman down, from there he could kick his sword away and retrieve it. If not oh well. It wasn't his sword in the first place, or at least shouldn't have been his. He had left his two beloved swords with Nightshade he had not found it necessary to use, who in any second would come galloping around the house corner most likely trailing or being trailed by a pack of dogs. "There are egos out there bigger than yours, there will always be. You leave those egos alone, let this be a lesson. Luckily for you I don't kill random Serfs." He spoke in detest, even if Teara had not been knocked over flat on her face.

.. why do you get a wolf.. And all I have is a pack of hounds. Not fair… jks.. Nah, it is fine. I can bare with this menacing freak of an elf, an overweight dog, and a horse.. I might bring Bridie in, in a few… if that is ok??… Teara was a strong minded girl. She had goals- and she would reach them no matter what. Her determination was quite unusual, because she never let anyone beat it out of her. She had strength in her body from working with horses 24/7. It meant that she was also flexible. For a petite figure like her she was quiet capable of a lot. It might not look like she was able to withstand some of the strongest men- but it was very much impossible for her not too. She rolled her eyes when the elf’s horse came to his aid. It was obvious they didn’t play by the rules. What the hell! They were on her land! She watched him point his sword at her- while she held the other one at ready. She was quite capable of defending herself when need be. She caught no expression on his face- it didn’t frustrate her much but it was irritating to know that the elf was concealing his emotions from her. Her face probably held the same balance of emotions. Barely showing fear or so what. Yep, Bridie had taught her how to use her ‘game’ face. This was so she wasn’t easily showing weakness. So, the elf did not choose either option. Pathetic imbecile! He then attempted to trick her with a fake attack. Yet another pathetic manoeuvre. She held her sword out ready to defend herself. Let him be the first to attack. Suddenly a force of immense power leapt onto Teara’s back- sending her off balance. She tumbled to the ground, but kept hold of the weapon.. And kept it away from her body. She tumbled.. The full commando roll… and then she leapt to her feet but a few inches away from the target. She heard the elfs comment towards egos and it was enough to make her roll her eyes in boredom. “At least I earn my living. Un-like your barbaric ways of living. And I doubt that no matter how much of an ego one might retain.. I will not be intimidated, nor will I leave other egos alone,” she hissed, and threw his sword at him, so it landed just at his feet, and stuck deep in the ground. “Lucky for you. I pity you and I am willing to forgive you for this,” she gestured to the few dead people lying around, hinting the amount of disruption he had caused. She had learnt to forgive you enemies of those that attempted to oppose you because nothing annoyed them more.

( He she is not over weight.... She's just big boned.... And No I don't mind Oh.. and you forgot to mention the dogs again... So I really don't know what I should do about them..) Xhel kept his sword pointed at the woman, He could of dealt the finishing blade as she rolled up. The elf chose not to. He was by no means intimidated by the elf, chances were the elf wouldn't really know the feeling of intimidation. Was it his courageousness? Maybe, but most likely his reckless and lack of reasoning. The elf caught the hilt of his blade, as the sword sunk deep into the dirt. Xhel pulled lightly, the sword came out of the ground with ease, the dirt stuck to the blood. But he could care less about the appearance of this sword. "Barbaric?" The elf grinned, "I'm creative in the way I carry out my jobs.. Too creative to be barbaric, besides if it was barbaric-" he kept the rest of his comment to himself. The elf had nothing to prove to the woman, he couldn't care less about her opinion. Actually he could care less about just everybody's opinion. He sheathed his sword, as his horse turned her gallop to a trot, to stop right behind the elf. "I did not say to be intimidated by other egos, Nor did I say to leave other egos alone.... Just mine." Xhel smirked at Teara before turning around to mount his horse. He was surprised at the least that, the women's pack of hounds had not arrived yet. "Oh that? Well you should obviously forgive me for it... Feed it to your puppies... Look at it as a gift from me to you." He fake smiled. "Don't pity me, only pity those who pity themselves."

----The dogs got waylaid… by shiny objects…. Nah, they are waiting for their turn to pounce. They’ll come out… soonish…. -----
Teara had never really been the type to suddenly get over the dealings of the day- especially if they interrupted her in any way. She fixed her eyes on his every movement and glared with such intensity it could have been lethal. If looks could kill- well he’d already be dead.
She’d give him one thing- he knew how to twist words and make him sound like he was some royal ass. But he wasn’t… well… he was just a pain- an irritation. He obviously didn’t have anything better to do with his time other then annoy the crap out of people trying to make a living.
"I did not say to be intimidated by other egos, Nor did I say to leave other egos alone.... Just mine."
“Stuff leaving your ego alone Elf- I find it quite amusing. To be honest I think your frustration is amusing,” she crossed her arms across her chest her eyes fixed on him as he mounted the horse, “Feed it to your puppies... Look at it as a gift from me to you."
“I don’t take gifts from things like you!” she hissed. Her body tensed with resentment. He was so damn annoying. You’d think elves would have a little more respect. She heard the stiff growl of a few dogs coming from her right- they were around the corner. But they would have been here quicker. She’d just realised that.. Something had stopped them. But they were still there. They were fine. She could hear them and they simply waiting for the word she had trained them on.
"Don't pity me, only pity those who pity themselves."
She caught his fake smile and returned it, “Oh believe me, I know someone who pities themselves when I see one.”

The hour had come when the world had reached darkness. It was the perfect cover- the perfect tactic of surprise. It was also an element in which the figure used quite often- for travelling, for sneaking and for so much more. The shape had not been here for over two years now, as her travels had taken a swift turn. Bridie had lingered so far from the places she readily knew that she was discovering more in the ways she could live- and how she planned to live her life.
However, figuring now would be a nice time to drop by as she was moving through- she thought she’d bump into her adopted little sister. Bridie was not much of a social but had taken a liking to Teara. Simply because Teara reminded her of what Bridie herself had been at that age- only Bridie had been alone and without a family or a home.
There was a light on in the old cottage which usually meant Teara was awake. The chimney was awake with smoke and it was flowing richly away from the house. The horses were slightly restless and their ears pricked towards the house. That couldn’t be good. The figure moved around the back of the house and peered through a window. There was only Teara’s elderly mother on a chair near the fire. The light washing her face with heat. But, where was Teara?
Suddenly something butted Bridie’s leg, she looked down to see eight eye starring at her. They weren’t aggressive they knew who exactly she was- but they were stiff. There was something going on. It made Bridie’s adrenalin push high above the usual. Using the shadow as a cover.. Bridie slipped around the side of the house.
Two people were brandying words at one another- with such cruel intent. She recognised Teara’s voice. The other one sounded roughly familiar as well. She peered quickly around the side of the house and saw a body lying flat on the ground. What had the darn girl been up to? Had she suddenly turned into a murderous wench? Bridie had the dogs near her- and as though they knew the need for silence sat their. Their hackles were stiff, and their eyes were glowing with he need to attack. Bridie knew they were trained to a single word- which would alert them to attack but Teara had not yet called that. Thus, the dogs would not have been there.
She removed her broad-swords from their respectable places and held them at a ready. Then she slowly moved. Not letting light or the breeze catch her and alert the two of her presence. But that was when she realised who the other was. The horse was familiar and a huge wolf was nearby. That could only be one person. She sighed and exposed herself, sheathing her swords with a loud noise.
The two figures would obviously look her way, “Late is the hour, and both of you are attacking one another with words,” she stopped by a body and rummaged through the possessions, “… and what is this? Three dead soldiers of Rohan. You have been busy chaps haven’t you?”
She stood up, pushing the purse she had stolen into her own and took off her gloves and looked at them. By the way Teara was looking at Xhel- they obviously had just met… and weren’t on good terms with one another. That was interesting.
