*Kassandra walked along a part of the ice-bay in forodwaith that she had not seen in many many years. She looked and tried to see under the immense formations of ice but could find nothing that looked familiar from her past. She slowly got on her knees with the ice stinging her body, and rested her hands on the surface. She could feel where Morgoth's power had once been and smiled. She wished now that she could've been trained by morgoth while she was in aman instead of Varda. Her smile turned to a frown as she let go of the ice remembering Varda..how dare she expel her. Kassandra vowed to meet her again, and had come to the conclusion that Varda would be overwhelmed by Kassandra's new-found powers. She would get her revenge eventually, and she was glad she was blessed with patience..most of the time*

Canos was also exploring the lands of Frodowaith but for a completely different reason. He was not trying to find out about his past because his life had originated in the East, not in the North. Canos was in Frodowaith on a mission to find the clans and tribes of orcs that had fled from the West when Sauron was defeated. He knew that the armies that had attacked Dale and the dwarves had come to Frodowaith in an attempt to hide from the new forces of good. Canos wanted to reunite the orc tribes to fight for him and then he could bring them down from the North when the time was right. Canos had every intention of giving Gondor and the Reunited Kingdom a fight that they would not be able to win. In order to do that he needed to attack them at every front possible. Even if the attack wasn’t that strong, it would draw attention and allow for Canos and his soldiers to move and continue their quest for conquest. Canos was with a battalion of seventy-seven men, bearing the back flag with the red tree of Gondor in the center. This was the flag of Nurn, with a true meaning behind it. Canos had come upon snowing hills and icy ponds and he decided to make a camp before the night set in. It was still early in the afternoon, but he would not risk going into the forest and no being able to make camp to stay warm. The men, not worrying about be quiet or silent, began to break in the forest, making camp. Canos looked out over the lake, his eyes piercing through the snow and the drifts of ice, looking for anything.

*Kassandra had her eyes closed still concentrating when something broke her thought.. she heard the crunch of ice and the organized and synched steps of what sounded like a small troop of men. She pushed herself up off the ice and smiled as she saw very distant away a small band of men, carrying a flag that she had not seen. She wasn't sure if they would be friend or foe since she didn't know the new clans or kingdoms since she had left middle earth. She decided to act like she was ignoring them, but make herself easily noticeable. She casually strolled along with her dress flowing behind her as the wind violently blew it, showing her slim and feminine figure. "all part of the art" she smiled and thought to herself. Men were so easily intrigued, and a band of them that had been walking would surely be tired of one another. Her dress was a light blue, and most would think she would be cold in such weather because of how little it covered, but she wasn't cold. She didn't feel the pain from weather that some felt, and she had years of endurance to thank for that. She would casually glance up at them to see if they were still coming in her direction, and when they noticed her, she would act like she saw them..but not too quickly, she had to perk their interests, though that wouldn't be too hard*

Canos’s men made sure that they took care of their horses, making them circle around as they began to start several fires. It was difficult to do in the snow, but the men had been able to survive in Mordor, they would be able to survive anywhere. Canos was still watching the horizon, watching everything with unwavering eyes. Canos stopped a figure and she was definitely female. Canos wondered what she was doing in this weather. Canos called for his horse and a man brought it to him, noticing the woman as well. Canos smirked as he looked at the man, “Don’t think of it boy. I will return….when I return, have a fire and camp set up before I do so or you head will be place on another person’s body.” Canos commanded and the man nodded his head, bowing as he left to go tend to the preparations. Canos mounted his horse and began to ride towards the woman that he had spotted. He didn’t ride hard towards her because he didn’t want to scare her. As he approached he began to feel a strange feeling; the feeling someone gets when they are approaching someone with authority and power. Canos rode closer, calling out to her, “You there! What business have you in this place?” Canos called, dismounting his horse with ease, landing lightly. The horse would not move so he did not need to tie it to a tree. Canos was dressed as a king, with fine armor and his personal swords at his side. Of course, these were not the most deadly of things he possessed.

*Kassandra looked up at the man who was taller than her, even though she was a very tall woman* I am just a traveler.. *she said bowing and then looked back up at him..he knew she was lying so she just decided to tell the truth* well..I simply came to see what has become of where I used to spend time long ago... I haven't been here in many years, and wanted to see what had happened to such an infamous place...though it seems it's become more than barren lately *she said and looked him over..he seemed very well-built and she could tell he was at least a strong warrior if nothing else.* and what business do you have out here? you seem dressed quite nicely to be in such a terribly ugly place... *she said with a slight grin* and why do you have so many with you? *she walked around him a bit slightly teasing* can't defend yourself? *she said in a condescending tone*

Canos smirked at this woman as she tried to be witty. It was amusing when people tried to play games with him. Canos was far too intelligent for that sort of thing. He knew how to manipulate words and people better than anyone else. Canos smirked and looked down at his armor and shrugged. He didn’t think that he looked to overly dress for the occasion. “Well, I don’t know about that my dear.” Canos said with a smirk. “ I can defend myself just fine on my own, but only a fool would wonder the wilderness with guards. Considering the fact that if was to die then I would loose my kingdom, I have a very good reason to stay alive. I will take as many guards as I need to remain breathing.” Canos smirked and took a few steps closer to the woman. She didn’t know what was coming. Canos was not naturally a kind man and he would take advantage of anyone in any situation that he could. “My business here is to find an army.” Canos said without worrying about whether or not she knew his true intentions. “But if you really want to know my current business to the second…” He paused, “That would be you my dear.”

*She did a studder step and tripped over a rock and fell on her back when he walked closer to her. she seemed flustered and pushed herself up and brushed herself off.* "well I'll just let you go about your other business then" She said and eyed him curiously. He was no ordinary human, that's for sure. "you have no idea who I am and of what I am capable mortal" She said through her teeth. She wouldn't let some...some man push her around like this*

Canos stopped, puzzled by her last statement. Before the statement she had seemed like every woman he had approached with intent. They were flustered and tried to escape, but always seemed to fail because of some reason. This woman simply slipped on a rock, which was less than impressive to say the least. Then she called him a mortal and such talk only came from people that either thought they were immortal or were in fact immortal themselves. That meant that she could be an elf or something even more powerful. Canos looked closely at her now and he could see several elven qualities about her but they were vague. She had to be half something else but it was not human. Canos didn’t draw his weapon yet. She, just curious, did not frighten him now. He would hold off on his attempt at her for a moment. “I assure you that I am no more or less mortal than you.” Canos said with a smirk. He was mortal, but he had abilities that kept him alive. “Which makes me wonder half elf…” Canos paused, stepping closer, but out of range of her legs as he knelt down to her, “What is your other half?”

*She slowly opened her eyes widely, a bit surprised at his guess. She cursed in her head...her first day back and she's already revealing herself. She had forgotten that the people of middle earth were always a bit smarter than she thought..she often underestimated them when she was first here.* I am a maia * she said as she stood a bit taller and straighter. She held her head high and then looked at his face for his reaction. Not many had been graced with such an honor, and she wondered what people would react like. Obviously she thought a lot of herself, and in her mind she imagined anyone that saw her simply falling limp to the ground out of respect. She knew she wasn't as important or famous as some, but she would aspire to that in due time* And what manner of man are you?

Canos looked at the woman as she stood up before him, her head held high, keeping his attention, making sure that he gave her the respect of actually looking at him. Then she told him what Canos had thought. She was a maia. She was a being of almost unmatched power and Canos had to be a t least a bit respectful of this woman. Canos smirk and then scolded a bit. He bowed his head slightly to her. "Welcome to Middle Earth Maia." Canos said, beckoning to the world around her that was covered in snow. "We are glad that you have come here. Tell me though....what race of maia? You are surely not a crafter..." Canos said, moving his hands to his hips and then crossing them across his chest as she asked him who he was and what his mortality was. Canos smirked and took a few steps closer to this woman, only a foot from her when he stopped, "I am Canos....servant of the great one....." Canos said with a smirk and his eyes flashed with the fire of Morgoth if on cue; although Canos had nothing to do with it.

I am am a- *she quickly remembered that she had been expelled and corrected herself* I..was a ..'servant' to varda *she said the word servant with much distaste..she thought herself below none.* I am fallen however..I was expelled for being a bit of a "free spirit" *she said with a grin. Varda had told her she was too undisciplined and was corrupt, and therefore threw her away like scrap. But Kassandra vowed revenge on Varda, and the other valar. Kassandra noticed Canos's eyes and thought for a minute* I also learned some of The great lord Melkor's magics the short time I spent serving him. *she thought that might impress the man. She now held out her hand for him to kiss* Thank you for welcoming me..you may call me Kassy *she said with a devilish gleam in her eye* A handsome face is always welcoming to such a barren place

Canos began to wonder if this woman had more than one personality. She was very defiant at one moment and then the next she was extending her hand for him to kiss in an elegant and peaceful manner. Canos wondered if she respected him any more ow that he had told her that he served the great dark lord of the first age. Canos never mentioned Morgoth's name because he knew there was power in a name and if he mentioned it enough, there was a chance for the return of the master. Canos did not want to give up his rule, even to his master. So, she had worked with the dark one at one time as well. Then he had not made a mistake. She was onside then. He needed to bring her to his plan. "Tell me..." he said as he leaned down and kissed her hand gently, " If you worked for the master then you are skilled in many things." Canos said and brought his eyes up to Kassandra's. "You would think that there could be a link between us. We both....interesting powers i am sure." Canos said as Kassandra felt her hand and her body becoming much warmer than usual, much warmer, seeming to originate from Canos's hand that was touching her.

*kassandra closed her eyes a bit with the heat. She felt it running through her blood and it felt good. She then snapped back into reality and spoke * "Of course" *she said wondering what this man was up to. She hadn't been sure he was evil until now. She could tell he was uncomfortable with mentioning the dark lord's name, and couldn't help but lagh to herself. In her mind she was the greatest, none above her. Luthien had tricked Melkor, and she assumed she could do the same. She looked back up at Canos now and began to speak in her warm and enticing voice. "What do you have in mind?" She said a bit curious now as to what Canos was planning.

Canos knew that the warm feeling would cause her to be curious about his abilities and she would be curious. Women were naturally curious about things that they didn't understand. Canos couldn't help but wonder if he could use her as more than just a strength in the North. His mind was filling with ideas. Canos thought very well on his feet and he created plans and schemes with ease depending on the situation at hand. Canos remained close to Kassandra, letting his hand slip away from hers. "You should command the army of the North." Canos said with a smirk. He hadn't found the armies yet but he knew that he would. He knew that he needed to test her before he let her blindly enter his trust. "You say that you studied with the great one?" Canos asked, "Then you should be excellence at deception and persuasion....." Canos paused, taking a step back. "Prove such." He did not tell her the avenue in which he expected her to prove her skills. She had to be creative and she had to be affective.

*kassandra gave a light left at his request for a show of her power. She thought for a moment and couldn't help but grin at him. He had no idea of what she was capable, and she would only show him a slight portion of her 'talent'* "very well my lord" *she relaxed her eyes and her body and began concentrating on Canos's mind, thinking of them as the same person, the same body and soul. She then began her show of power. She weaved and sowed the thoughts of pleasure and lust through Canos's mind. She opened her eyes to see his reaction as she walked closer to him, gently rubbing her hand on his muscular chest. In his mind she was placing an enchantment, not a big one, just enough to make him feel infatuated with her beauty and soothing voice. "You're a very handsome man Canos" She said and stared deeply into his eyes. "any woman would be lucky to have such a glorious master* She raised her hand to her chest and trailed it down to where the top of her blouse was, and she pushed it down a bit revealing a bit of her chest, just enough to tease him. She knew he wasn't easily corrupted with such thoughts, but she was placing a spell where he could unlock his deepest erotic pleasures and wildest dreams only if he would kiss her. She leaned over to him and put her hand to his cheek, her body warm and comforting, she looked deep in his eyes, as if piercing his soul.* "kiss me.." *she said seductively looking into his eyes with such a seductive look any average mortal would instantly fall into her service as another one of her pawns*
