After many years passing as the Reunited Kingdom grew, the family of Aragorn splitted up across the country. Along with his wife he decided to live at Annuminas, located in Arnor, a land who earlier had been in ruins. On top of the biggest hill in the city the throne hall was placed, surrounded by few walls, houses and gardens beautiful as never before seen. Close by a lake named Nenuial, which had river that lead south into the shire and further.
Similar to Minas Tirith the city had been built, however better in look and stronger in defense. In case of war, this would be the last defense where people of Eriador could go. Inside the hall two thrones at the end was set, a place where the king and queen could sit and speak with the people who entered. Between each pole that held the roof up, rooms was stationed for different purposes.

The man stared in wonder and awe at the Throne Room, his mouth slowly opening wider as he did, before he realised it was and quickly shut it. This place held a regal and magnificent beauty, a prime example of the incredible and yet useless detail men put into these places. Carn Dûm also held it's own beauty, but it was a cold and cruel beauty of strength, yet nevertheless it was an undeniable beauty. However, it held none of this ornate stonework and masonry. Instead it was built entirely for strength, and constantly kept a chilling and foreboding atmosphere about it.
The man's name was Harmal, he was a messenger of Angmar and it was his job to establish friendly relations with the Reunited Kingdom, possibly one of the most important jobs the ruler of Angmar wanted done. Harmal slowly approached the Throne Room, speaking briefly with a guard before being told that he would see the King shortly. Harmal stood there for a short while, admiring the beauty yet again. It seemed he was in luck; apparantly, the King currently had relatively few things to attend to, and while being a King was generally a busy life, diplomatic negotiations came above nearly every other matter of business and pleasure. The guard spoke to the messenger again, and Harmal entered the Throne Room, approaching the King in a very official and yet humble manner. As he neared the King he stopped and dropped to one knee, speaking the first words of the newly opened negotiations between the Reunited Kingdom and Angmar, "My Lord Aragorn, son of Arathorn, King of Gondor and Arnor in the Reunited Kingdom. I am Harmal, son of Harral, messenger of the newly re-established Angmar. I bring word from my King, who wishes to negotiate positive relations with you, if you should feel inclined to forgive the unfortunate and terrible acts of Angmar's previous rulers."

As the gate opened and allowed the stranger to enter, Elesser the king of the Reunited Kingdom sat upon his throne and watched out in curiosity as he wondered what news this person would bring. It was something strange about him, but still the king wished to listen. The throne room surely was a great sight for the eye, as was the whole city. For many years it had laid in ruin, although by the support from all realms of light in Eriador it got rebuilt. The city was surrounded by many walls and two outposts guarded the valley which all had to pass, still the city was stationed close to the lake and at the harbor it kept many boats/ships floating around. Annuminas was a place for many, which had peace and harmony. Elessar loved the city, as therefor it was the reason to why he and Arwen had moved to live there.
With a look toward the stranger that had arrived, he listened to what was spoken. It shocked him to hear that Angmar again had risen to power, but the new king of its kingdom at least seemed to want peace rather then war. This was good, however he did not if he could trust this king. Quickly Elessar stood up from the throne and answered loudly in return, so they all could hear, including the guards around."You are welcome here Harmal, son of Harral, but to forgive Angmar for its terrible acts is difficult when I don't know your new king. How am I to trust a man I have not met. Surely there has been many wars between our two kingdoms, but never did I believe it would rise again after its last fall. Tell me, who is your king? Cause I would much desire to speak with him."

"I must apologise myself, for I am terribly sorry. I should have explained to you the reason behind my King not being here himself. As you can imagine, my King is very busy. Running a country, you must know, is a challenging occupation, and my King is also trying to rebuild it. My King's name is Haladan, and he wishes, although it may seem hard, for you to think of the new Angmar as an entirely different country to the previous one. It is ruled by men and inhabited by men, there are no longer foul creatures such as orcs living within its borders. Well, to be perfectly honest I'm afraid I must admit there may still be some living in the mountains on the borders, but my King has assured us that they will soon be dealt with." Harmal ceased his speech temporarily, allowing his words to firstly be heard and then be understood. Then he spoke again, "If it is your wish, I can arrange for my King to meet you here, I believe he is currently inspecting the border, so it shouldn't take too long for him to arrive? Perhaps a few days?" Harmal again paused, waiting for an answer.

"I understand how busy your king must be if he can not come himself, but to meet him would be an honor. Perhaps if all turns well we may get rid of the orcs that lingers in the mountains together, that way we can make sure no evil keeps living in our lands. Tell your king that I wish to see him, which we then will discuss the future between our kingdoms." Elessar spoke loud and clear, as he wished to declare it important for the sake of both their lands. It bothered him that a land with such evil had grown again, even it seemed to had changed. Could the messenger be trusted? Well this was something Elessar had to find out, maybe with the help from his queen Arwen he could figure what to do. With that said, he again sat down and rested as he waited for the messenger to reply.

Queen of Men. Immortal Beauty.
In every way the Evenstar still shined as one of the brightest stars in Arda-even after bearing children. Her eyes held a familiar and peaceful hue- yet somewhat more human then elf, for she had given up her immortality to live but one lifetime with Elessar. Every attractive feature of her exterior still shinned with the brilliance of the Eldar- her blood-sake.
The daughter of Elrond Half-Elven had found her place in the world. Her place among the men of Arda, providing them with a bouquet of beautiful children- graced with her and Aragorn’s charms alike. Braced in her arms, and resting on her hips was their youngest and their last. Elaina.
The move to Arnor had not been hard, for Arwen had stayed close to Aragorn’s side. Happy with the peace it always offered her. Voices created music in the halls of Arnor. Daylight stretched through the cracks, lighting the castle with a fresh luminosity.
Dressed in a royal blue gown, her hair swaying past her shoulders in gentle and neat curls she descended a flight of stairs towards the Throne Room where she was sure the King was stationed for the moment. Elaina was playing with the soft tendrils that sat luminously on her shoulder.
When she entered the Throne Room, there sat her Lord. Her husband. Her King. Thy man that was everything to her. She held a beautiful smile across her face, and walked slowly into the Throne Room.. Waiting for him to notice here. He seemed deep in thought, someone had just left the Throne Room. What matters could be passing now? Surely, everything was peaceful.
“Father,” the little girl in her arms cried happily. Elaina was only 3, but she could speak quite fluently and she loved her father. Every moment she could, she spent crawling around her father’s feet. Never minding anyone else. Her attention was besotted on him. Arwen’s smile dashed across her face, as she turned to her daughter, and finger communicating to Elaina to be quiet.
A guilty smile crossed her daughter’s face, but she became silent. They both advanced towards the King, with bright smile. Happy that they were all well. Happy that they were finally settled and could be a family once more.
“My Lord,” Arwen muttered quietly, “We do not disturb you?”

In deep thoughts Elessar sat upon his throne as he had listened to the messenger of Angmar, to hear it was reestablished made him wonder why. Could it be that the people the Witch King had enslaved now were free and wanted their own land, was this the reason, he did not know. However he hoped to figure by meeting the king, then he could see if the words was to be trusted or not. For the sake of the people, he hoped no evil would again rise after the fall of Sauron. Although he knew history always had its ways for repeating itself, in one way or another. It was his job to avoid bloodshed to happen again, as he had become high king of many lands. With thoughts traveling around his mind, he wished for his wife to appear so he could discuss it all with her.
After a short moment a small voice in the crowd behind the stranger could be heard, it called out"father" and immediately Elessar knew his wife had entered with their new born child. As his gaze turned toward the direction he had heard the voice, he quickly got to see Arwen approaching. Her beauty and charm was great and often spelled him into total silence, but as she spoke to him he with a smile responded."No, not at all. Come..."He said and stretched out his hand to her, wanting his wife and child close.
To see her was what he had wanted and with her beside him, he got more relaxed as the evil thoughts vanished from his mind. In a slight movement, he kissed her hand and looked up at her beautiful face. She was as the light itself, whom could give love and peace to man`s heart and make him forget all troubles that went on around. Being the husband to a wife as Arwen was a great feeling, a feeling he never wished to lose.

“Father!” Their daughter cried in joy, finally being able to reach his clothes and tug on them- relief for Arwen’s hair. A soft touch trapped itself on Arwen’s hands and her eyes in one graceful glance turned to her husband. A genuine smile protruding her lips with ease. Happiness was like a fire in her eyes- not dying. Arwen turned to brush her daughter’s curls back from her pretty little face.
“Your daughter has been wanting to see you all morning,” Arwen sighed, contentedly. She was not the woman she used to be. She was more wise, more intelligent. As though the duties of Queen and motherhood had tamed her- and made her more courageous and strong. Perhaps it was the fact that she had more people relying on her then what she had previously, “I delayed,” she looked down the hall- where the figure had been, but had now left, “… for I heard voices. May I inquire?”
Arwen’s eyes found Aragorn’s within an instant. She was curious to know what business lay ahead for them- and whether she could remedy any thoughts that Aragorn could find no answer to. For so long she had been his comfort, his backbone, his rock- and she would not give that up. Her love for him was enough to give up immortality- a gift that so many would wish to hold.
Her daughter squirmed at her hip, trying to get into her father’s arm, but Arwen held her close. Even with the battering of the child in her stomach- she had known this child could be some trouble, or was going to be trouble. But all she could do, was decide how to act with the time she had been given. Besides, she still had many other children her attention would also be drafted to. Therefore Elaina would not be spoiled- and would have no reason to be running around causing a mess. She would allocate her time to each child fairly, so that none were left out.
This child had been Arwen’s last. It had been an easy birth but had exhausted her. Even though, she was fatigued and drained of energy most of the time Arwen did not show it, nor would she show it. She was determined to make the best of this life- and that she would do.

With a smile back at Arwen, Elessar decided to take the child within his own arms as he got to know their daughter had wanted to be with him all day. In an embrace of kindness he cuddled the child, wanting to show how much he loved her. However after he had listened to what his wife had to say, he answered."You may inquire my love, cause I have been told news which disturbers me. The man who earlier was here, was a messenger of Angmar. Their kingdom has been reestablished and I fear the worst."He spoke with a worried voice, hoping Arwen had any ideas of what to do about the matter.
"Do you think there is anything to be worried about?" Elessar continued, as he dearly wished peace to his people and land instead of war. The children now deserved a better time to grow up, not a time where chaos and death haunted them. Shortly he turned his attention to Elaina, smiling as he were happy to have a new child to rise. Many times had Elessar and Arwen teched their children of important things in life, now it was time to teach another throughout the years to come. Hopefully it all would go well, even it seemed that the child would be a touch challenge to handle.

Arwen allowed her daughter over to Aragorn, passing her from her own arms to his. Elaina loved her father- and it was obvious. There was a strong connection there. She watched her husband embrace her daughter affection ally, attempting to remember the last time her own father had embraced her so.
So Angmar had arrived- she had seen it in her dreams while she slept- but ever so vividly. Yes, a messenger had arrived. But on what business? Arwen hadn’t seen it through her dreams only that a dark shadow had sunk of The Realms of Gondor alerting them of the darkness’s arrival. She took a deep breath hearing the apprehension in the King’s voice. He was unsure- of course he would be. These people were enemies. They sincerely could not be trusted. Once the darkness had took them- they could not be rid of that stain.
“Angmar is re-established?” she asked rhetorically- it didn’t need to be answered. She nodded her head. Yes, it was forming she understood a little of it now. The messenger had been human… his intentions seemed of little harm. He was offering for relations. After all, they were apparently all men. Aragorn was the King of them all, really.
“My Lord, I believe the messenger is harmless. However, I daresay it would be rude to dismiss what they wish to propose. Especially when they have come here so formally. If they are indeed changed, then they will not mind us considering what they propose for a little longer. If it be so, entreat with the messenger and hear what he has to say. If he appears true to his words, and true to himself and there seems to be no untruths in his eye- then perhaps we may consider their propositions. For the moment, I see no harm in doing so.”
She smiled watching Elaina play with her father’s face. She had something for faces and hanging tendrils of hair… and shinny things. She was pretty, young and foolish. But she was learning and quite fast. She would be a fine Princess of Gondor- but wild and strong. It must be from her father’s side/
“But we must be cautious. Men are men- and they have been our enemies too,” she said swiftly, reminding him of the Haradrim. The men who had allied with Mordor during the War of The Ring.

Elesser nodded to what Arwen spoke, she was right. Orcs had not been the only evil throughout the years, men as Haradrim and the Easterlings also had been enemies of Gondor. However as Gondor had resisted, so they had prevailed. In return to her words, he answered."Your words are wise and true, as you are beautiful my queen."He said with a smile, glad that his wife was with him no matter what. Having her and the child in the new palace surely was great, something that made him feel lucky and appreciated. With a short look at the child, he carefully played with her as he stretched out his finger for her to reach. She was a cute child, but also a tough one to handle. Which made both parents wonder, if the girl would become a great difficulty to handle as she would grow up.
"I will meet their king and see if the rumors are true, then we`ll see if they lied or not."He continued, hoping that no war would come at hand as a lot of it he had seen before. Long after the last war the people had lived in peace, knowing that all would go well. However still much was unknown in the world, even things seems to be under control. Elesser just wished that no reason for combat would break out, but new things around had changed. The elves were leaving and the dwarves kept on mining for great treasures inside the mountains, as for the human beings there had been no bloodshed between them for years.
Carefully Elesser stood up from his throne and handed the child back to Arwen, wanting her to take it as he wished to stand. "I do not wish my people to suffer, and I will do everything to keep the peace."He said seriously as he thought of those he loved, if war would come he knew it would not be safe for anyone, not even his own family.

Her wisdom was more common sense then a gift. But, as a Queen it would appear like it was a gift- for she would be rallied with all sorts of duties that one would wonder whether she even had time to think. The world had changed, and was still changing. Things had been a peace for many years now but there was a alteration taking place once again. Arwen could but feel it, taste it and sense it. Darkness was brewing again- but it had little means to strike as yet. First they had to build their armies and make themselves strong again.
The world of men had already refurnished. They were strong and well equipped. Although peace had been apparent for near a decade or more men were still preparing for any sort of war that may break out. Young boys wishing to be Knights joined with sword masters as apprentices… and the armies of Gondor were large now. Full of men of all ages- all different abilities. Yet, they had never faced the darkness- they had only learnt stories. So, they had one great weakness.
Arwen took Elaina as Aragorn passed their daughter to her, so that he might stand. Arwen watched him. His eyes dusty with thought, “If you meet with their King, or entreat with one of their advisors.. I bid you take Eldarion with you. He has much to lean- and it will be a curve for him to learn the ways of a Kingdom. He has been working hard of late- and I daresay some time with his father may do him just,” she smiled and placed Elaina on the ground, so the child could stand beside her. Her daughter did just that, and hid in the length of Arwen’s gown. A little shy now, that she must stand alone- by herself.
“The world of men will not always be at peace. There will always be war, my love and we can’t do anything to stop it. But there is always hope.”

As Elessar stood close to his wife and child, he listened to every word that was spoken. What was said were true, however he did not like the thought that war could appear again after all the years of peace. Long had he tried to keep the peace, but now everything seemed to had change. Visible it wasn't, but few signs of it could be seen. With Angmar reestablished, it made a great risk that others too had risen. However if they were good as they told, then nothing would be needed to be worried about.
With a look of care and kindness at his wife, Elessar gentle took her hand in his and reminded the talks of past."Hope, yes..as long that stays in our heart then there should be no worries. "He spoke with a whispering voice, closing Arwen`s hand as he deeply looked into her eyes. "Perhaps I should take Eldarion with me, but what if things should go bad...whom then should rule in our stead?"Elesser continued, wondering who could stay behind and rule although he knew that probably his wife and Faramir could watch over the realm while they were gone.
As that was said, Elessar turned his focus down at their child whom seemed to hide within Arwen`s clothing. This made him smile, cause cute she was. To have a new child in the house was something he appreciated a lot, something that made him happy and glad. However if war one day was to come, he wished it not to come to them. No one deserved to discover war, as it only brought one pain and misery. This he new, cause many times before he had seen and lived in it.

Life was a risk. Every aspect would require some sort of risk to be taken- and sometimes one just had to take that risk for the benefit of all. The world was not safe- nor would it ever be. No enemies or not… mother nature offered her challenges as well. Arwen stood in the Throne Room in front of her husband, her lord, her keeper. Her daughter standing in the folds of her gown mischievously- what would the little girl do next?
She felt her hand lift into Aragorn’s as he spoke to her with tenderness. He always listened to what she said- she was grateful… every moment of advice or simple reassuring words she could offer him she would. Her own eyes looked at Aragorn as he began to speak, taking her own words into account.
His eyes turned to their daughter, and Arwen smiled. However, the words he had just allowed to pass through his lips allowed her the knowledge that he had misinterpreted her words. Perhaps she hadn’t been as clear as she thought she had. She would never put their son in danger, but he would have to face it soon wouldn’t he?
Arwen’s eyes focussed on her daughter for a moment also. She had faced the nazgul herself, and the memories were clear in her mind. They were dark creatures, fearsome. But once they knew you feared them.. Their power grew. But, they were once men. Now… what were they if Sauron was gone? Were they loyal to anyone besides themselves? Would they seek revenge for the death of the Witch King, by a woman’s hand? It was highly possible.
“My Lord, you know I would never wish Eldarion to be put in danger. He is heir indeed- but there will be a time when he is King and he will have to face the same dangers,” she lightly squeezed Aragorn’s hand, “We must protect the future of our Kingdom at all costs, my love,” her eyes returned to Aragorn’s who were still fixed on their child, “Bid their lord come hither., and allow Eldarion to be beside you converse. Let him learn.”

As Arwen spoke to Elesser, he listened with high curiosity and care. What she said was true, Eldarion would have to learn some day to stand for his own decision and to make them. With a slight nod, Elesser answered his wife."Yes, perhaps I should take him with me. After all he still has much to learn."He said and smiled, but began to think how to make it safe for them to travel. With a look toward a guard nearby, he ordered a letter to be sent to Eldarion. Telling that he should come to Arnor, so him and his dad could travel and see for them self what lingered in the dark mountains above. Meanwhile as they would be gone, Arwen and Faramir would be left behind to rule, in case things would go bad. Elesser trusted his wife no matter what, he knew if all one day would go the wrong way, then she would manage.
With a deep look at Arwen, Elessar moved closer and kissed her on the cheek. Showing with a kiss that he loved her incredibly, she was an amazing woman, a woman that he would love until the end of the world. As his gaze turned to look at their daughter, he could recognize a few looks that her mother also had. Their daughter was a great child, but often could be stressful. Always did she need attention from her parents, almost begging for it as a lot she loved their company. However such was Elessar passion for Arwen as well, he loved being around her and to have her close, made his feelings bobble greatly. Making a feeling that butterflies lingered within his stomach, that made his love grow even stronger by the minute as he where together with Arwen.
With the orders given to the guard, the guard ran of with a piece of note that Elessar had written, so that Eldarion could read it and come to Arnor as fast possible. Elesser only hoped the message would arrive safely without problems, rumors had told that a lot of things was happening in Middle Earth lately. Scouts had reported armies moving around and it made him worried, as long his son would come to Arnor without problem..then everything would be alright.
