Greetings everyone, on the behalf of all admins on this site. We have decided the site needs a refreshment, to gain active members again. However before anything can be done, we need help. At the moment there isn't many staff crew active, only me, Erana and a few others. Therefor we now seek people who are interested in helping to lead the site, if some of you are willing to help then please fill out the application below and respond either in this thread or by pming me. When a new active staff crew is elected, there will be changes. The page will be turned into maintenance mood for some time, while the forum gets fixed to the better. The layout will be modified, boards changed, inactive members get deleted, old threads removed to the archive, new rulers announced and a lot more. To make all this happen, we need people with skills. Those who still wish to be active should tell so in the activity check thread, before the maintenance mood appear we will tell. If further questions, then it can be asked here.

About yourself: Well, I have been an admin on this site, as well as on many others made by Aragorn, and I hate to see some of them growing more and more silent. I'd do anything to help get it more active again. And well, otherwise about myself, excluding the forums... I'm 18 years old, live in Austria, bound to the computer out of several reasons, studying at the university of Vienna, and lately I spend much time in Norway as well. I'm not sure what else you wish to know about myself, I hope that is enough at this point.
Real life Occupation(School, work?): I study in Vienna, to become a teacher for German and History
Skills with forum: Well, I am good at making graphics with Photoshop, and with my old computer I loved making commercial videos for several forums, as for example the current video of MER. However, I now have a laptop and it won't let me make videos anymore, although I'm working on this problem. Further, I believe I'm capable to write good English, even although i do not come from an English speaking country.
How Active: I try to get active and post with my characters each day, although of course sometimes I am not able, for example at times of tests and exams at university. However, I get on the computer each day and so am in constant contact with the main admin, Aragorn, and stay well informed, even if I don't manage to get on the forums for one day.

I'm 15 years old and I live in Devon, England. I am musical and play the violin, piano and bass guitar. I used to be in a band called "Haywire" and am now in a band that is just starting-ish  I play violin in it (think 'Yellowcard' songs and other songs like "The Devil went down to Gerogia"). Hmmm... Real life Occupation(School, work?): Boarding school Skills with forum: I've been an admin on several sites, and I've been and still am a Moderator on a couple of sites and I am starting two of my own (with some friends), one is a roleplay site similar to this one, set in Medieval times and the other is a WoW guild site for my friends' guild. I know a fair amount of HTML and am currently trying to slowly learn more, I'm not great with graphics and since I can't make graphics on my Mac laptop, which has internet, and my PC, which doesn't have internet, has my graphics-making program (photoshop) I have a little problem there. How Active: I'm as active as I possibly can be. I get on the computer every day, and this site gets second priority at the moment (after Ancient Europe). I should be able to get on the site for at the very least half an hour a day when at school and a lot more when not at school.

Well, I just wanted to tell that I can not get online with my Erana character since the forum is set on maintainance mode, out of some odd reason. So, I will help working on the forum with my Eowyn character, who currently is admin for this time, until I can get Erana to work again. Just so you know |
