At last, Erana and Eldarion had left his room again and walked along the hallway, out of the palace. He wanted to show her the most important places in this city as it soon would become her home city now, the place she would live at most of the time after her marriage to Eldarion. He led her, for she did not know the way, she never had been to Minas Tirith before, but was eager to learn more about the White City, it always has faszinated her. She was not sure where he would take her first. She just followed him, happy to be able to be with him, only slowly realizing how lucky she was. She had not yet thought about how Gondor's people would react to their engagement, if they would accept her, she had taken this for sure, but not yet had she met people of the Gondorian folk to tell her about their thoughts. She wanted to take over the gondorian customs, as well as having the folk on her side, accepting her as she once will be queen of them all, even though she came from Rohan, she was married before and had a lost daughter.

Long had it been since Eldarion had taken a walk within the city he grew up in but now as he had returned with his new gf it was time to do it again, with gentle and graceful steps they went threw the halls of the kings palace and out into the court were the white tree of Gondor with its proud stood in all its flower. Slowly they stopped with linked hands and curiously watched the view in front of them, seeing the white tree in its beauty as the sun shinned upon it along with the country side of Gondor behind it and further the mountains of Mordor were dark skies once again had awoken.
"Its beautiful isn't it?"Eldarion spoke, turning to look at her shortly with a smile but sonly watching back to see what was going around them. Seeing the servants walking around doing their jobs as the guards stood ground, guarding the area of the palace. Only the royals and important people were allowed to enter the seventh level of Minas Tirith but people of the lower parts could too if they came with good reasons, it was mostly peaceful on the top of the city and were covered with great richness from times of old. He himself as he knew she came from a more poor way of living still hoped she liked the place and hoped one day that she would feel like home even it was way differently then she were used too, but whatever would happen and as she stayed with him he would comfort and help her getting used to the life he had grown up into. Together they would be a the perfect couple were they would rule the people as its king and queen.

"Indeed, it is. It is a radiant view, amazing. You can look so far from this place, it seems we almost should be able to overlook whole Gondor." Erana answered him smiling, her hand in his while she stood on the highest level of the city. She could spot Osgiliath from here, the Anduin that lay in the valley between Minas Tirith and the dark mountains of Mordor like a huge snake, and to the north she believed she could see Cair Andros. It was not like in Edoras, the Minas Tirith was way higher, and through the clear air you could see miles wide. But in some ways those two cities were similar in a few ways as well, both built on a hill or mountain, cool wind stroking you when you stand on top. "And all this belongs to your father's kingdom, it's breathtaking. It's huge, those wide plains." she spoke to Eldarion, leaning against his side while enjoying the view, the white tree, most important symbol in Gondor, standing strong and silent behind them.

"Yes, all of this belongs to my father as he is the king of these lands. But it is I who are the hair to the throne and one day I have to take my fathers place, then all of this will be mine together with the woman I choose to marry." Eldarion responded to the words and question Erana spoke, he loved her but did not wish to scare her with what the future would bring. He once in the future would become king and if she married him she would become the queen, together they would rule but was she up for the task? Somehow he knew she was up for it but much for her it was to get into, there was a new culture for her and a new way of living. If she would become royal she would need to start acting like one, as Eldarion were born into it there was no problem but for a woman that had lived a poor life as she had it could become a problem. Gently he held her hand within his and watched over the view before them, it really was a great sight but still darkness lingered behind the mountains of Mordor which made even the son of a king worry.

"You are incredibly lucky, having a family that loves you, a country that can be proud of you and with a great future ahead, my love." Erana said with a last glance at Minas Tirith's surroundings, the wide plains of Pelennor fields. She then turned back to Eldarion. Her right hand still lingered entwined with his, her other hand rested on his chest while she looked up to him. "Now, where will my lovely fiancé take me now in his home city?" she asked him. This city was full of history, of course he could not show her everything, and had to choose what to show her later on and was was important enough to show now. It was an impressive feeling standing on these ancient stones of a city that had endured since the end of the second age now, standing where many notable kings, queens and persons had walked.

With amazed eyes Eldarion looked upon the landscape around them, seeing how beautiful it was but when Erana started speaking and turned standing before him his eyes sonly got fixed on her. She too was a real beauty but more beautiful then anything around them or anyone else, he loved her and wished to be with her forever. As she spoke he listened but smiled in return, seeing her one hand holding his while the other rested upon his chest gently. Her presence was comforting and it made him calm even his hearted beated faster with her close, happy he watched her deep into the eyes but when she was finished speaking he answered."Yes I am sure the future will be good, as long your with me. But your right we should move on and the next place I will take you should be the stables I think, not far away from here is the stables were they keep our horses. Would you like to see?"He suggested but somehow already knew she wanted to go there, she was a lady of Rohan and therefore was a master among horses.

"Really? Well, with horses you always can catch me, knowing that I'm a Rohirrim." Erana said smiling, and continued "Are our two horses among them as well?" she asked him. Now that she thought of horses she realized that this horse was the only being at all that she still knew from her past time when she lived in Rohan. She missed her home, she missed Rohan, and it relieved her to know that at least her horse still was around, until she was accostumed to living in Gondor, with Eldarion. Even although she did not want to admit it to him, she suffered from nostalgia in some way, although he made her forget it most of the time.

"Well I believe your quicker then me at horse, you have more skills about ridding then I do even I was learned to handle an animal like that long time ago."Eldarion responded the first words she spoke, remembering the past were he and his siblings first got animals to take care of. His sisters had got a dog and pony while he himself got a horse, it was an elven horse given to him by his mother who earlier had been raised up in Rivendell. He also had learned lots of ridding tecnics from the elves in lothlorien as he had stayed there for some years, now as he were back home and together with the woman he loved it wasn't much ridding for them to do these days. Gently they started walking to wards the stables who lingered at the right side of the palace, close to the big tower that watched the city. When she spoke again he listened but answered sonly as she were finished, looking at her while smiling."Yes our horses are in the stables, only the royals and its friends horses are being kept there and therefore also ours."

"Well, every Rohirrim can ride a horse before even being able to walk." Erana resonded laughing, remembering the old times when her parents taught her to ride, shortly before their death. "But I could teach you as well, though you already have a perfect riding style." she spoke, then continued walking with him toward the stables. She knew, Gondor was different there compared to Rohan. In Rohan everyone possessed their own horses, whereas she had heard that in Gondor mostly only the royals owned horses. These differences between her two homes, her old one and her future one, came to her mind more and more often lately. But she tried to ignore them, if she would think about it, even talk about these feelings of nostalgy with Eldarion, it probably would get even worse. Eldarion was so happy to be home at last, it made her feel glad as well, and so helped her alot with her home sickness.

The words that his love Erana spoke was satisfying and it made him happy when she called him an excellent rider even he had not got the same training as she had from the beginning, the people of Rohan were great riders from the day they were born but still the elvish wisdom knew alot more about it then any other.
"I believe the Rohan people has learned alot from the elves in the past but figured even more on their own about the horses you own, I would gladly accept the offer of you making me a better rider. It would be a good ability to learn for the future to come."He said as he kept on walking with her next by, having linked arms as they sonly arrived the doors to the stables. There two guards stood before them but opened the door for the prince and his fiance to enter, these were not the only stables in Minas Tirith but more laid further down at the levels of the city.

Erana entered the stables at last, her arm linked with his. She felt happy, her green dress swinging around her feet and legs, the smell of stable felt as if she was back home again, in Rohan, walking to her horse, which was her friend, always there for her. "Well, once we have time, once I got used to living in Minas Tirith, I will try and better your riding style then." she told him smiling, then she saw her steed, standing in one of the stable's quarters, Mara was her name. She let go of Eldarion's hand and went over to her horse, she stroke its nose. "Well, you gondorians know how to please a horse, Mara seems to love these stables, and the food." she spoke.

"I would like that."Eldarion responded Erana as she offered him ridding lessons, it would be good to become a better rider and to be learned by someone he loved. It would be nice he thought but to have her as a wife in the future would be even greater, together they would rule the kingdom together. When they entered the stables and the horses could be seen within the quarters, it was a wonderful sight. Seeing as she went to her horse at once showed how much she cared for it, after all she was a woman of Rohan. "Indeed, we too breed our horses in ways need but not like you of Rohan. We take care of them thought does not use them as much you do, we are better on foot then at horse."He said and stroke her horse`s head, thinking it was a great horse she had.
He himself always loved to ride but as good as she, he was not. From birth the people of Rohan had specialized them self within the art of ridding, and as they had grown up into adults they had learned everything needed about horses. This made others jealous of their skills and had caused many wars against their people, for long Gondor and Rohan had stand united and if the marriage between Eldarion and Erana would succeed, it would turn their two kingdoms closer each other then ever before.

"Yes, I believe you are right there, my love. In Rohan, each child is used to learn how to ride before even run. Horses are the Rohirrim's best friends, it is difficult to seperate them. No such relationship can be found in Gondor between the people and any kinds of animals." Erana responded to Eldarion while leaning her back against the stable door of her steed, happy to feel the horse's presence so close to her, it reminded her of her home. She sighed quietly, so that Eldarion would not notice, he should not have to be burdened with her thoughts and worries as well, he had many other things to take care of beside her. She felt the urgent need to change the topic in some way, so that they would speak of more interesting subjects again. "As you know, I sent a letter to my brother, Elfhelm, as well." she began after a short pause. "It is likely that he will come after me, to see me and make sure I will be alright." she explained to him, wondering how Eldarion would react. However, she as well wondered what Elfhelm would say, if he would agree to her marrying Eldarion. He seemed to have liked Heldgrim very much, maybe he thought it was wrong to jump so quickly from one relationship, from one marriage to the next. She herself felt guilty, leaving Heldgrim so swiftly, she hoped it would not cause any bad reputation.
(Maybe we should go on a little faster? Or even jump so that we end up in the lower levels of Minas Tirith where the main story of our two characters continues?)

(Sure thing we can skip on.)
Eldarion watched as Erana stood close to her horse, looking happy but at the same time sad. As she missed her home, maybe it was what she thought about but asking he did not. Being with her was lovely and she were a beauty any man would dream of marrying, without her he would be lost. Deep thoughts wondered around his mind as he watched her together with her animal, both having a good relationship as the horse had grewed up along with her.
Softly he touched the horse she owned by its neck and ribs, feeling its great muscles and could see the horse had been trained. It amazed him how carrying the people of Rohan were to their animals, they cared for them almost more then them self and together they built an culture were horses was their lords."Your land is surely interesting, and much Gondor has to learn, if only we could secure the alliance between our two people with marrying one another."He said with a smile, sure about they were to marry but still with unknown the future was. Eldarion had seen flashes of it but never the face of the bride he were to marry, somehow he was sure Eran was his love for life, however only body and cloths were seen by the bride but in same figure of the body Eran held.
When Erana mentioned her brother coming to Gondor, it shocked him but was not unexpected. Long had he waited to meet her closest family and finally the brother of his love where to come, he was worried but hoped everything would go well. In return as he watched he kept on smiling, taking her hands in his and then spoke kindly." Your brother is coming?, interesting. Well then i finally will be able to meet him to then, hopefully everything will go well."He said smiling but continued, still watching as the horse between moved its head. "Shall we continue our walk?"Eldarion suggested, holding out his arm for her to link with. When they were linked together, they gentle started walking out of the stables and to the stairs of seven levels, which lead to the gate of kings.

"Indeed, but before living with you in Gondor I need to learn far more about your country. I believe we won't be able to travel to Rohan often, will we?" Erana asked, while walking out of the stables, stroking her steed's nose to say farewell. She slowly descended the stairs and steep roads from the seventh level to the lower ones. "And of course let us continue to walk while talking. I am not sure if my brother really will come, but I hope so, for I haven't seen him in a long time, and I would like to introduce him to you." she explained to Eldarion. "He is the last family member that remained for me, and it would sadden me if our contact would break because I move to another city, and even another country." she spoke, while walking along, down the way. Passing a few people, she noticed their stares at her. They seemed to be happy to see Eldarion again, as he was their prince, but stared at her with suspicious looks. Erana had seen this come, their stares and gazes, their whispering behind her back. However, it still hurt her, she knew she came from another country, from another level of living, and had been with two other men already. She looked at Eldarion sidewards wondering if he noticed it, and how he would react.
