“To me, life is what one makes it,” she said, almost agreeing with what he stated.
“Have you heard that Gandalf has returned, with an apprentice?” she looked over to him. This was just some news she had happened to gather on her travels. She had actually been told the Apprentice was quite good, but Bridie really didn’t care. It barely concerned her. Shouldn’t one wizard know of others on Arda?

"Oh yes, Indilwen. She seems to be learning fast. Gandalf is a great wizard, and Master to her," he said.
he was a bit surprised that she asked, that she cared. But he answered gladly.

Bridie nodded, “I have been fortunate enough to meet the King and Queen of Gondor and two of heir children, in my travels. Actually by chance, truth be known.”
She did not know why she mentioned this. Perhaps it was just a light piece of conversation. She knew sometimes, that bringing up quite random things could lead to a long and lengthy discussion, so she tended to do it a lot these days, even if she seemed in a fowl mood. Just habit, she supposed.

"They are great lovely humans indeed, and so are there children," he said, "Aragorn is also a mighty warrior, one of the best I hear." he smiled. "They are not often just "meet by chance" I belive, will you tell me about how you meet them?"

Bridie looked at him curiously for a moment as he complimented Aragorn. She did not know the King’s whole story, so had not taken to judging him. She was neutral to all being, she did not know. She really cared nothing for the whole good against evil thing. It wasn’t her fight.
“Well, I caused some trouble and got myself locked away.”

"Oh," he said giving her a smart smile, "well, there are consequences to not follow rules. Well, you are here, so I guess you also got out of it."

"I do not apply myself to rules. Rules are really nothing but codes for people to live by. It makes them more normal. Anyways, I did get out of it. I didn't break my out though. I spoke to the King himself and got my way out."
Bridie had been good at making others take her side. It always worked with her. That was the beauty with getting in trouble so much. You learnt how to control different types of people to your advantage.

"Rules also make order, I dare say," he said, "but I am glad you where able to talk your way out of it."

“Perhaps. Yet they do not always conduct order. One may easily disobey an order and others will follow. Rules do not always apply in life. They are made to be broken.”
She sighed, “People only obey rules for they are afraid of consequences.”

"Some maybe, but not everyone. Rules are very important, without them I believe we would live in a chaotic society."

Bridie rolled her eyes, “Society is already chaotic. No matter how many laws they place before us, there will always be chaos. No matter how hard they try to stop the turmoil, it will never truly end. So why bother?”
She sighed, and stood up to stretch her legs, “The world is already corrupt, why not just leave it alone, and let it set itself in order?”
