The guards took Olwe to the healing houses and the healers worked on him day and night. When they were done, Idis would check on him once a day but that was it. He broke her heart unlike any other and it was hard to see past that for her.

A few days later Olwë woke up, he emiately put on his gray hood, 'cause he was in disgrace, and shame, for he had left Idís alone for a whole year, when he thought of it, it made him cry, for she was the love of his life. "Where is Queen Idís?" Olwë asked one of the healers, as he limped towards the the exit.

The nurse immediately ran over to him and forced him in bed. "At work. She should be here soon though," she told him. "She comes everyday to check on you, now you stay," she told him authoritatively.

Idis entered and sighed, "I got him," she told the nurse who bowed. She picked him up and took him to the river, then she waded in and sat him up in her lap in the water, waiting for her to wake.

Olwë woke up, sensing that he was in the presence of Ulmo's power. "Huh? What? How did i get here?" Olwë said as he looked around, then he saw Idís' fair face. "Idís, i am so sorry, please forgive me." Olwë said as he kneeled to on his knees.

"I don't know if I can Olwe. Two time you tried to leave, then you promised me to marry me and then leave for a year. How on earth can I just look over that and go back to the way we were as if nothing happened? I needed you most a while back and where were you? Are you that cowardly Olwe? I have to run a country, how do I know you won't screw up there?"

"I would die for you, i would go into Mordor for you, and kill every single orc!" Olwë said as he handed her his blade and then moved his neck so she could cut it off. "Take it and cut of my head, i would do anything for you." Olwë then added.

Idis sighed and then handed him back his sword, "Then you must re-earn my love prove that this will never happen again," she said and gave him back his ring and gave a kiss on the cheek. Then she returned to her office, tears fell down her cheeks as she left him and went back to her room.

Olwë couldn't believe his eyes. many tears fell down his fair face, then he walked towards the tree, for he needed to be alone, as he was alone he kept looking at the ring, he had given to Idís, he stared at it for hours, not blinking once. "I must get my act together, her mother has just died, so her spirit must be guide to the Halls of Mandos." Olwë said as he put the ring into one of his pockets, then he walked toward the Halls of Thranduil, but he did not enter it, he kept away from Idís until the funeral. In meanwhile he kept away from Idís, will to live was fading.
