Cyrith leaned in and looked at Rawhide's ears, seeing that they were pointy. An elf? she said to herself, quite surprised. She leaned back a little but keep her arms on the table and listened to Rawhide tell his story. It shocked her. It surprised her more that he was willing to open himself up to a complete stranger, such as herself. Prehaps maybe if he spoke, she would do the same? She didn't know. She pitted him but tried not to show it sense she herself didn't really like pitty. Cyrith fidgeted at the site of the bullwhip but struggled to hide the fact she was bothered by it. She then relaxed. Only those with the strength to fight live. That one sentence repeated itself in Cyrith's head. She knew it all too well. Scratching the back of her head, Cyrith replied, "My life here is not actually new. I have been here for a few years but just never actually done much with my life. I am just a wanderer." Truth be told, she was taking her time enjoying the taste of freedom.

Rawhide sat silent for a moment. He did not like telling his story. It reminded him to much of Loreion and the heart ack there. Rawhide waved the Inn keeper over and ordered two drinks. After taking a drink, Rawhide said, "If you are as skilled with a sword as I think you are, I could find you some work. Have you ever heard of the Rhuzons? They are a very skilled group of female warriers that are used by the Queen of Rhun. You don't have to of couse. But if your interested, I would be happy to arrange a meeting with the Queen." Rawhide took another drink and then asked, "If you don't mind me asking, how did you survive after your parents were killed? Your brother? Or someone else?"

Cyrith was grateful for the drink. She was thirsty anyway. She said a quick thank you and sipped her drink. Even though it seemed he was only trying to lead a helping hand, Cyrith laughed lightly. "Oh, I do not think I am as good as you may think," she said. "I only learned how to weild a sword to defend myself. I doubt I would be able to stand up to warriors like the Rhuzons." Although she was touched by his offer, it just didn't seem like it would be her place. Cyrith lightly tapped her finger nails on the table and went silent for a brief while before she answer Rawhide's question. Even though she still wasn't sure if she wanted to open up about her past like he had, she was able to answer this question. "Someone else," she answered. "Call him someone who looked after my mother after my father died. Then when mother died, he raised me."

Rawhide took another drink and nodded. He could tell that 'someone' ment someone she'd rather forget. Desiding not to push the subject, Rawhide changed the topic. "You might be surprised at how much skill you poses. I have no doubt that you could become a Rhuzons with a little training." He finished his drink and suddenly a thought crossed his mind. "If you'd like, I could give you a few tips on fighting."

Cyrith stared into her drink for a moment. It wasn't that she wanted to forget, it was just hard thinking back to the one who had sent all his time raising her, looking after her and protecting her. He was one she looked up to like an older brother and missed him dearly. "How thoughtful of you," Cyrith said and sipped her drink. "That all depends if you are willing to spend your time doing so. I am sure you have better things to do."

Rawhide laughed lightly and said, "Oh, I always have things to do. But lately it has been mostly supplize and inspections. I hate it. I sometimes wish I could just go back to my first battalon and continue to train them." He sighed and finished his drink. "But I think I'm intitled to a little practice every once in a wile. Even a Gr... commander needs to practice to keep his own skills sharp." Rawhide silently cursed himself for almost making that slip. He didn't want Cyrith to know yet that he was the Grand Warmaster of Rhun's armies. He was afraid that that fact might intemadated her. Rawhide could tell that she didn't open up to people very easly and hoped that he could help her out. "I must traval and make an inspection of a barrics tomarrow. I would like some company if your interested."

Cyrith raised an eyebrow at Rawhide. It appeared that he nearly had said something that he wasn't suppose to say. She just shrugged. She honestly really didn't care either way so she didn't say anything about it. "You want some company, eh?" Cyrith said. "Well, I cannot guarantee I will good company but I suppose I could come along. Only because I'm bored."

Rawhide smiled and extended his hand to her. "Alright then Cyrith. I'll meet you tomorrow morning at the barracks near here. If you need a horse, I can provide one for you." Rawhide retrieved his sword from the table and tossed the Inn keeper several gold coins. With a final nod to Cyrith, Rawhide left the inn.
(OOC: We'll pick this up under the Training Barracks Thread.)

Cyrith extended her hand in return. "Tomorrow morning it is then," she said. "I need no horse. I have my own, thank you." When Rawhide left the Inn, Cyrith finished off her drink and left the table. She went up to the front desk and got herself a room for the night.
(Okay then)
