Alatáriël took the scroll from the Lórien messenger and unrolled it. She read the words on the parchment and sighed quietly. It wasn't good news, or bad. But she fully understood Lórien's need to remain behind.
Rolling the parchment back up, Alatáriël said, "Tell your Steward that I wish them well in battle." She handed the scroll back.

OOC: I'm begening to wonder if the Dwarf got us all worked up for nothing. He hasn't been here for quite a wile. Why don't we just call it a draw. You know, have a cup of tea and biscuts wile talking in British acsents. You know, like "pip. pip." Right toe" "Chearo". Ok, enought of that, but really, are we going to continue to sit here and wait untill the Dwarf comes back?

OCC: I would agree however the fact that a giant dwarven horde, even an inactive giant dwarven horde, poses some serious problems for Lindon. Is there any way we can get the dwarves out without there leader?

Is there any way we can get the dwarves out without there leader? OOC: Honestly, I'm not really sure. I would assume that at some point that a battle would be called off if the enemy hasn't shown any activity after several months. I don't think it would be fair to continue on if the dwarf isn't here, it kinda sounds like god-modding to me. |

OOC: I was gone for Christmas break. I don't have internet at home so with school out for a month, I just couldn't get on. I have a pretty hard scedual this semester but I've got some time here and there to get on.
As for the battle, I think that we just say that the dwarves desided that the odds were not in their favor and they return to their homes to live to fight another day. *Raises monicul to eye* Jolly Good, boys. Looks like the ol' buggers didn't have any fight in them after all. Jolly Good.

OOC: Just to point out two things; One, I think the battle should be called off and Two, there is not one English person in the world who would speak like that...  I know, I live there/here. Stupid Americans... Actually, we are completely the opposite - one of the highest crime rates and a lot of people do drugs. Mostly weed. Just to break the prejudice. I love you prejudiced Americans.
